I always stay at Cottonwood Cabins in the Adorable Tree House Cabin. Heather is a wonderful host and each time I go to Homer I stay at her Tree House. I always have a great experience and my pup Skipper loves it there too. It is so peaceful and serene.

The property was an enchanted wonderland. We enjoyed being surrounded by the goats and chickens. We also enjoyed a nice fire at the fire pit and chatting with other guests. The accommodations were private and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Kelli and daughter Mackenzie were warm and welcoming. Truly the 'Alaskan Bohemian' experience!

I had booked the A Frame (which is nice and clean, small, no bathroom) but it was raining when I arrived and, with more rain forecast, I asked if there was anything else available. The Tree House 2 (I think it was #2) unit was and it was bliss. It has a spacious and comfortable living room/kitchenette with a full bath and a loft with a double and single bed. The huge windows look out onto lush fields and hillside. It was more room than I needed but the splurge was worth it. There were small touches like granola bars, oatmeal, and tea in the room. Kelly, the owner, was friendly and helpful. I really liked Homer and if I go back, I will try to stay in this room again.

Nice host, nice house on the tree. I could tell the person who built it, loved woodworking. Our bathroom was practically separate of the unit which is a bit inconvenient if you want to visit it in the middle of the night. That's my only criticism, everything else was great. Enough room, nice lights, little kitchen, the furniture etc.

Kelly was an amazing host. We evacuated our hotel on the Homer spit at almost 11pm at night due to a tsunami warning. We had no place to stay with our four little children. Driving up the evacuation route, my wife called and found accommodation at cottonwood cabins. Kelly had an airstream RV available and gave us an extra floor mat to help us sleep our group of 7. She had good recommendations for local eats. Kelly really saved us that night! The room was clean and well appointed. There was a full bathroom available just steps away. The kids enjoyed the chickens. This also opened our eyes up a little bit to what real Alaskan living looks like. It looks like the treehouse would be neat but was not available.

We loved our stay in the reto airstream. Our host Kelly was phenomenal! Loved the treehouse and hammock. Vintage albums and record player was just awesome. If you want a great Alaskan experience book a stay at Cottonwood Cabins. Kelly thank you for a great experience.

We had a lovely time staying in the treehouse at Cottonwood Cabins. The place has a lot of character and is very comfortable. My son loved chopping wood and my daughter moved feeding the nearby goats. We had a long campfire and we’re so relaxed. It’s a super place.

We checked in to the A frame and then left and booked another place to stay. I could not stay here. The room had a very bad musty smell. I went up the the common area, knocking my head on the way up due to very low beam, and it was filthy - dusty, cobwebs, bird or small animal droppings on the ledges and old, torn, uncomfortable furniture. The owner had a sign on her front door to text any questions. We sent a message that we were not staying and they never bothered to reply.
