We stayed at Goat Mountain Rising and very much enjoyed a relaxing weekend. Place was very clean. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed and more. Host were very responsive and instructions were very clear, definitely recommend. Our only complaint was the shower head, no water pressure and hardly any hot water.

Not as Advertised – Disappointing Stay at The Goodluck Post We booked the GoodLuck Outpost in Yucca Valley expecting a 5-star experience, but it didn’t live up to the promise. The game room was a major letdown—only the foosball and shuffleboard worked. Everything else (air hockey, basketball hoop, skeeball, darts) was non-functional. The host was responsive and tried to fix the game room, but the technician who came claimed the games were not operating properly. The freezer was frozen shut when we arrived, and I had to spend time getting it fixed. The host initially refused the requested refund, but Airbnb stepped in and issued a partial refund after we submitted pictures and documentation. They advertised a TV in every room, but the room we planned to use for the kids had no TV. They’ve since changed this in their listing. I also left behind a Hatch sound machine and provided photos of its exact location, but their cleaning team claimed it wasn’t found. The home itself is spacious with an awesome pool and view but the experience was frustrating. To make matters worse, the host disputed my Airbnb review and it was removed after I posted an honest account. Would I stay here again? I would if things were fixed and the amenities are all operational. Update for their response - See picture showing their listing saying TVs in every room… tell me again who is misleading who? - Lastly, they can’t accept that hey maybe we missed the mark this time and got a lower review. It happens no one is perfect, accept and move on with fixing the issues.

This was a bit of a splurge for our family… and well worth it. The home was comfortable, well appointed, and spick and span. We loved the pool, the spa, the sauna and the firepit. We got the urge to grill and there was a grill there. We got the urge to bake and again we found what we needed in terms of measuring cups, baking pans, etc. the rooms were comfortable. The kitchen was user friendly. The dining room seated us in style. ‘Would definitely recommend and will hope to return some day. A real vacation!!

Just stayed at our third Homestead Modern property, Hi Desert Fade. An absolutely stunning property tucked into the rocks and gorgeous landscape of Pioneertown. This home had every creature comfort. The kitchen was a chef’s dream. The views from the floor to ceiling windows were jaw dropping and the amenities were out of this world. We can’t wait to return. Do not hesitate to stay at a Homestead Modern property. They are world class.

Fantastic place to create memories! Convenient to JT, Palm Springs and more. That being said, you can stock up on food and drink and simply go nowhere as well. Orion Major with its three suites, common area and pool is the perfect retreat for up to three couples or a family of six. The Claussen Clan

We really enjoyed our stay at Shadow Mountain House. What drew us to the house was large expanses of glass walls overlooking the desert. The property is huge and very private. The rental lacked nothing and was very well equipped. Nearby restaurants were few so having a luxury kitchen and barbeque was a plus. The house was close to all the action in Joshua Tree town and convenient to both park entrances. I highly recommend this rental and you will not be disappointed.

We stayed at the Orion Joshua Tree for a long weekend and it was incredible! The house was clean and beautifully decorated. Beds were comfortable and there were enough bath towels in addition to pool towels and outdoor blankets provided. The house is equipped with games and records to play and has all the kitchen equipment needed for cooking. Not to mention the best part - the pool. Such a beautiful amenity which was clean and easy to use. We had a few issues with the door locks but property management was very responsive and helped us resolve the issues quickly. I couldn’t recommend a stay with homestead modern more!

I recently stayed at the 'Horse Around' property and the experience was fantastic both from the perspective of the property as well as from the hospitality Homestead Modern provided. HOMESTEAD MODERN: They are a top-notch management company. Booking was extremely easy, the app they use to provide information on the property and the area is fantastic as well as all of the communications from them were timely and on-point. I did not experience any issues or hiccups at all. THE PROPERTY 'Horse Around': Wow! What an outstanding home on a beautiful piece of land. Everything about this place was 5-stars. The inside of the home was pretty, in great condition and very comfortable. The outside is where this place shines the most. The pool is absolutely stunning and has amazing views. All around the home there were numerous areas where you can sit and relax and you end up using them all. If you're looking to get away and spend some time in the desert this place should be on your list. You won't be disappointed by either the property or Homestead Modern. 5-STARS all day long!

Had an amazing stay and the Customer Service at Homestead Modern is some of the best I have ever come across and I used to work for The Ritz Carlton so I understand what to look for. Brie and any other CSR reps for Homestead Modern were so on top of everything, so kind and really went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay. I stayed at their property in Joshua Tree and had an amazing stay there. The house was close to the park and was in amazing shape nothing was broken like you see in so many rentals these days. The beds were so comfortable and so was the couch and kitchen, hot tub , and bathrooms were awesome it was such a peaceful and relaxing stay. I have nothing but good things to say about the company and property they earned a customer for life and will be sure to send my family and friends your way too. Thank you for such an amazing stay, I will be back again.

I rented a house from Homestead Modern for a nice relaxing vacation with my sister who I only get to see once a year! Only it wasn't all that relaxing to begin with! We had some cleaning to do first, the kitchen, the dining room table and toilets. The pool was cloudy and the cleaner didn't show up on the scheduled day! I called the rental company and was given an extra day for our disappointment. But what really made me crazy mad was when I tried to take a shower and the drain was backing up into the entire bathroom!!! So in my birthday suit, I cleaned the nastiest drain I've ever cleaned in all my years of being an adult!!! After our stay I called Homestead again and was told in no uncertain terms "DON'T CALL AGIAN OR WE WILL FILE A LAWSUIT AGAINST YOU FOR HARASSMENT AND EXTORTION!!!!" I said what.....
