Homewood Hotel & Spa

We had a lovely overnight stay for my husband 50th Birthday. We originally booked for August but we had to rearrange due to personal circumstances. They were really accommodating in doing so which I was grateful for. The day before we had a courtesy call to ask if there was anything we would like to make our stay special. Arrival was friendly and welcoming and our room was lovely. Everything you required and very clean. Wine and chocolate were left for my husband birthday which was we a lovely touch. Our evening meal in the restaurant was delicious and they accommodated my egg intolerance with ease. Before ordering they asked if we had any allergies which is very rare and didn’t make me feel a burden, as I normally do when eating out. Breakfast was also the same. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings are lovely and peaceful. I highly recommend and will return for another stay.

We booked a family trip to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful stay. The bedrooms are spacious and very well appointed with great amenities - you can't go wrong with a proper fresh pint of milk in the mini fridge!||||Food was lovely at breakfast and dinner. The dogs were well catered for too with a pamper parlour and agility field. Enjoyed some time in the spa despite the gale force winds blowing endless leaves around! Amazing staff; we were very well looked after.

This was a birthday treat - use of the Spa, treatment and lunch. We have been to lots of different size spas but we really loved this one. Although small - changing rooms especially so - we thoroughly enjoyed it. The treatment - massage and facial - was top quality. The more time you spent here - outside and in - the more touches you noticed and appreciated. Lunch was delicious - we had the Sunday lunch and it was just perfect. The day was expensive but no more than other spas in the locality and it was absolutely worth it.

The hotel is absolutely wonderful – stylish décor, delicious food and a lovely spa. What really sets it apart, though, is the staff. Everyone was so kind and attentive, and I can’t thank Olivia enough for making sure we were all happy – including our beloved sausage dog! The hotel is genuinely pet-friendly, with plenty of spots for dog walks. They went above and beyond with thoughtful touches, such as providing a pregnancy pillow for extra comfort, and surprising us with truffles, wine and brownies in our room for my husband’s birthday. Breakfast was excellent, and I loved the sweet bar at reception – perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. My only small suggestion would be to have decaf breakfast tea available, as there were other caffeine-free options but no black tea.

My husband and I had a fantastic spa break at Homewood. We loved the calm and welcoming space. The staff are welcoming and helpful , decor is amazing, food is lovely and the massages were excellent. We'll definitely visit again.

Great first impressions. Bar tender was really friendly. Make some lovely cocktails. Reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. We received an upgrade which was really nice. Lovely room. Comfy bed and fluffy towels. The General maintenance around the ground looks like it needs some work. Around the pool looks like it needs sunbeds moved to sweep. Room service was nice. Forgot our drinks but they did sort them. I had the best facial

Homewood hosted our wedding in August this year (2025) and I couldn’t praise them enough. Lucie, our events manager, was incredible and supported us so much throughout all the planning. The weekend of the wedding, the team were incredible, nothing was too much to ask and they really looked after us and all our guests. It really was the perfect venue for us and we cannot wait to go back each year for our anniversary. Thank you so much Homewood team, you really helped make our wedding day perfect! We had a lovely 3 night stay at Homewood. The room was spacious as we had booked one of the spa suites. The private hot tub and sauna was perfect. We could not fault the service, every member of staff was polite and helpful. The foot was fantastic, we ate in the Olio restaurant on the first night which was lovely and had room service another day. The breakfast was the highlight and was freshly cooked each day. The only slight downside was the air conditioning in the room wasn’t great. We will definitely return!
