Homage Café in Cologne was a real gem — a cozy, charming spot with a lot of heart and attention to detail. We tried two dishes: the sweet pancakes and a savory crêpe with egg, and both were fantastic. The pancakes were beautifully presented — a stack of fluffy goodness topped with creamy sauce, coconut flakes, pistachio crumbs, and a fresh raspberry on top. Surrounding the plate were colorful slices of fruit like strawberries, apple, kiwi, grapes, and orange, making it not only delicious but a real feast for the eyes. It felt fresh, light, and not overly sweet — just perfect for a brunch treat. The savory crêpe was equally impressive. The buckwheat crêpe was thin yet hearty, filled with fresh ingredients, topped with a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg, peppery arugula, a sprinkle of sesame seeds, and a drizzle of a sweet balsamic glaze. Every bite had a great balance between savory, peppery, and slightly sweet flavors — really creative and satisfying. The atmosphere at Homage Café was very relaxed, with a bit of a vintage touch, making it a great place to slow down and enjoy your food. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive vibe. Overall, Homage Café is a must-visit if you’re looking for a delicious, well-crafted brunch in Cologne. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We had a wonderful and delicious experience for Sunday Brunch. Expertly crafted coffee and tasty breakfast. Their back and side outdoor space offers a little nook of peacefulness. Highly recommend checking this spot out on your travels

Stumbled upon this place while going for a walk. Very cozy and cute place. Lots of room outside to sit. We did not know it had gluten free options which was a bonus for my boyfriend who Is Celiac. Im not celiac but we both really enjoyed the galette which was like a crepe but made with buckwheat. Tasted fresh and clean. Coffee was creamy and also very enjoyable. Cash or paypal only.

All the things with this place were really good.i ordered pancakes, and the pancakes were served with some fruits and syrup. I don't like really sweet things, just with the natural sweetness, then here you can exactly find this natural sweetness or at least they don't add an excess of sugar to the dishes. The place is really cozy. They give you an animal figure as a way to save your order, and when you pay the bill, you bring back the animal figure and they will give you the bill, I mean, I think it is a unique way to remember places. Unfortunately I didn't take the Pic of my dish, I just enjoyed it 😆😆😆

The food was absolutely amazing, gluten free, dairy free options. Our pancakes were well presented, so tasty! We also had freshly squeezed OJ- lovely fresh start to the morning. The real downsides lay in the means of paying- only PayPal or cash. We hadn’t seen this on the sign when we arrived. Only carried 15 Euros around as most European cities I’d been in lately were cashless. So me and my partner struggled our way to make a PayPal account which took longer than we fancied. Also no toilet :(

This cafe was recommended by Oliver who organises a weekly Friday morning run nearby, as one of Köln's best. It certainly lived up to the high expectations which he'd set. Model animals as table ID are cute. Excellent coffee in glasses, delicious cakes.

This is a cozy, blink and you’ll walk past it spot around the popular Belgian quarter. The cafe itself is pretty small, there are tables in the back or a few bar stools up front in the window. Food was very good and prices were very reasonable. One thing to note: this spot is cash or PayPal only. Come prepared
