Hommage Hotel & Residences

We just got home from 6 wonderful nights at the Hommage in St. Martin. Noah greeted us warmly and helped us settle into our 2nd level room. (For the 1st few days we were there, we seemed to be the only Americans there. It was helpful that we speak a bit of French but all staff were multi-lingual.)|Our covered patio was beautiful and comfortable and was like being in a luxurious jungle but with the comfort of no insects. The art and sculptures on the property are unique and a very nice addition to the hotel. Our bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nicely updated and everything is immaculately clean. We only had one breakfast at the hotel as we are late risers and tended to get a latte and croissant once we got going for the day. We had dinner at the hotel two nights, they were both delicious and the service was great. The pool and beach at the lagoon are beautifully maintained and unique. If we go back to St. Martin, I think we would stay at Hommage again— we ended up driving our rented car to Marigot, Grand Case and St Maarten but we loved coming back to the serenity of the hotel.|Merci beaucoup pour tout !

The rooms are pretty & renovated. The pool & grounds are nice. This is not a swimming beach as very rocky. The staff is very friendly.||The power was off when we arrived. No one seemed surprised as it happens often. Came back maybe 3 hours later. The bar/restaurant did not open until 5pm. Boho is also owned by Hommage & is a 5 minute drive. There is food & a bar. Not much of a beach area & water access was blocked off.||The restaurant food was excellent.

The hotel room was quite spacious with plenty of hot water and good air conditioning. There was a kettle in the room which was wonderful and used everyday! The bar was nice with very friendly staff and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. The resort grounds were very nice and the young palm trees will added the needed shade in a few years (hotel suffered hurricane damage). The area the hotel is located is fairly quiet with only a few dining options to walk to. There is a small well stocked grocery store and delicious bakery only 10 minutes on foot. The restaurant food was very good and located on the beach, but when we were there the wait times were incredibly long. I don't know if the hotel is short staffed or something was off, but additional bar help could have resolved a lot of the waiting for water and drinks. The hotel did offer shuttle service by an employee for $25 to airport and to Marigot. ||We were on the first floor and had to deal with ants in the bathroom everyday. We called the hotel before booking the room to ask about beach access and were told there was beach access, but the water in front of the hotel is a lagoon and we saw no one in the water. We went to fitness center and the paper towel/wipes to clean equipment after use was empty. Beach towels and umbrellas were sparse at the pool so get there early otherwise sit under a palm tree away from pool. On a rainy day we asked if the hotel had umbrellas to borrow and were told "they are broken". The hotel has arrangements with airlines to accommodate guests when airlines cancel flights and 4 out of 5 nights there was a canceled flight which then added 20+ more guests than expected and this was part of the problem with the slow food service.

Very nice hotel .The hotel is situated beside a lagoon so from your hotel you can view the lagoon water..very nice swimming pool. The property is so beautifully decorated..Above all very Nice staff. Staffs are always happy to help . I have travelled across the world but this hotel is the best in terms of customer service. They really mean to give you nice experience. My Son enjoyed the breakfast 😋.. Thank you so much

Thank you to Anna in reception for welcoming and accommodating us last minute with a 2 night stay and upgrade to a lovely suite. We thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing weekend and to top it off the lovely friendly staff and restaurant and bar team. Chris, Robin thank you for you excellent service and to Fabian , Dave and chef team for their excellent tasty and well presented dishes. Also thanks to shuttle staff to Boho beach club. D & R C

Nice quiet hotel, very clean room and friendly concierge. This is good if you are looking for a quiet place to stay and have a car. There is only 1 restaurant which open on specific hours, the staff at the restaurant lacks customer service, we were there on the new year eve and the staff was not friendly not knowing how to talk to customers. Food was not as expected- ca do better for the high prices they charged.

I was disappointed to say the least. My room was spacious and clean but the shower had no hot water, luke warm only. The air conditioning filter was filthy, see attached picture. The front desk staff were friendly and so was the restaurant staff but the service was lacking.

We had the best time. If I could give it more than five stars I would. Friendly people, Beautiful hotel room and grounds. Amazing restaurant. Definitely a gem. Couldn’t have asked for more. Loved everything about it. PERFECTION!!!!
