If you are a huge child at heart you will love this spot. So many awesome rocks and crevasses to jump, climb and scale over like you did as a kid. A lot of great photo opportunities even if you are not a wild child, there is an easy walking path out to the main rock we will call it.

A striking spot right on the Nha Trang coastline, Hòn Chồng features a stunning cluster of giant granite rocks that spill into the turquoise water. The rocks have weathered shapes and smooth surfaces, perfect for a photo op or just soaking up the coastal views. There’s more to it than just rocks: walkways lead you to a cultural area with traditional artwork and occasional live music performances, creating a blend of nature and culture that’s unique to this place. The water near the rocks is crystal clear, and you can see straight through to the pebbles beneath, beautiful on a sunny day. The small ticket fee (30,000 VND per person) is well worth it. It’s a great place to relax, snap photos, and even catch a glimpse of some locals fishing nearby. Tip: Try to go earlier in the day if you want to avoid the big tour groups, it can get crowded by mid-morning. We started to see the busses arrived at 9:30 am.

Nice view:)it depends on the weather if it’s sunny or cloudy. But the little gift shop over there,i do not think it’s a good place to buy souvenirs, kind of expensive:( and the staff was so mean to me:( The toilet is kind of smelly and it is for both of genders . The traditional music performances are nice but as the review i see before,if you just wanna enjoy the traditional music, you can come here! Here are just stacks of rockkkkkssssssssssssss:)

30k per pax for entrance. I believe the performance is a must watch, but it needs to wait for enough visitors to start performing. Each session is 3-4 songs and indeed good shows. Rocks and sea views (windy & hot) also good and worth to drop by. Grab to here and back for each way from Comodo hotel is around 90k per way. Drinks at the cafe is so so and a bit pricey and I think to drop by for a rest is okay but not for good drinks.

Beautiful place! I came there around 2pm and there weren’t many people but around 4pm there were many so come during lunch time, it will probably be empty.

Hòn Chồng, located in Nha Trang, is a striking natural landmark where massive granite boulders meet the sea in dramatic formations. This rocky outcrop, shaped by centuries of waves and wind, is both a geological wonder and a cultural symbol. Local legends surround the site, with stories adding mythical meaning to the giant hand-shaped mark said to be imprinted on one of the rocks. For photographers, Hòn Chồng is an inspiring location. The rugged stones against the deep blue of the ocean create strong contrasts, while the backdrop of Nha Trang Bay and nearby islands adds depth to wide-angle shots. Sunrise and sunset provide the most atmospheric conditions, with golden light highlighting the textures of the rocks and casting long reflections over the water. The area is easy to reach and includes nearby cafés and viewpoints where visitors can enjoy the scenery at a relaxed pace. Local fishing activity around the rocks also offers cultural elements to include in storytelling photography. Hòn Chồng is more than just a collection of rocks—it is a place where nature, legend, and daily coastal life come together. For travelers and photographers in Nha Trang, it remains a must-visit destination that captures the essence of Vietnam’s coastal beauty.
