Took my daughter to meet friends. I ordered a flat white, double choc cake, peanut butter choc cup, bran and date muffin, Turkish delight. Service excellent. Taste excellent. Ambiance awesome. Really had a good time there. And it's so busy

I visited Honest Chocolate Cafe - Cape Town City Center based on recommendations from others. I got chocolates to go and had it at home. It was absolutely delicious! The quality was impressive, but I found the price to be quite high for the portion. Still, it’s a great treat if you’re in the mood for something rich and indulgent.

Awesome little place to grab some of the most delectable dark chocolate creations. I 'honestly' don't usually eat dark chocolate, but this is a place I'll be back at whenever I'm in Cape Town. The staff are super nice. I'd love to see one or two milk chocolates on the menu. All in all a great experience. Thank you Honest Chocolate Cafe.

Chocolate taste great. If you love chocolate you will love this place. The brownies were the best thing we ordered. They have a semi-outside seating area.

I have been here many time just for coffee… this time I took a friend and we wanted to go all out and try many different ones… cutting them in half. Each one came with its amazing nuances…. And well thought out… Really superb :) although have to say the chocolate is very “organic” which is not what one is usually used to.. this is not a criticism but rather a preference matter. Getting a seat in the back court yard was hard in a Saturday noon-ish. There were many people having finished their drinks but lingering to take selfies and also many nomads-with their devices. The front staff are very kiff and eccentric bunch with a lot of patience and kindness.

While the chocolate did not stop the revolving of our planet or reset our views on the world or removed Trump from being President of the United States, it was yummy and provided a much needed recovery from our recent walking tour. The dark chocolate almond brownie was yummy, but the clear cut winner was the Miso chocolate chip cookie. And just for the record, they make a strong Americano.

Sure! Here’s a well-balanced review for Honest Chocolate Café in Cape Town: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Honest Chocolate Café is a gem in Cape Town! Their ethically sourced, artisanal chocolate is rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of sweetness and intensity. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax with a cup of their decadent hot chocolate or a slice of their famous chocolate cake. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, always happy to recommend something based on your taste. I also love that they focus on sustainability and high-quality ingredients. Whether you’re a chocolate lover or just looking for a unique café experience, this place is a must-visit! Highly recommend the chocolate tart and their iced chocolate drinks—absolutely divine!

We came here twice because it was so good that we had to come back. This chocolate shop serves really good chocolate type desserts as well as chocolate bars that can be found even in airports. The first time we were here, we tried the chocolate bunny chow which was made from banana bread with ice cream and chocolate. The second time we came, we tried their original short and dark hot chocolate and their tall and milky peanut butter bomb. I particularly liked their peanut butter bomb as it was truly creamy from what tasted like ground up peanuts. Nice place, nice ambience and it turns to a gin bar at night.
