Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel

"You're unlikely to find better airport accommodations than the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott—or one connected right to AsiaWorld-Expo, a business world hub for booths, demonstrations, and deals. Aside from its proximity to the action, the hotel has a whopping 658 guest rooms and suites that offer either airport, island, or sea views—the best balm for a busy day—plus a sleekly gorgeous indoor heated swimming pool, and five restaurants that offer cuisines as disparate as dim sum and Tex Mex (the former comes with a view of the South China Sea). Clear your head at the onsite Quan Spa, where you can opt for a body scrub or scalp treatment, then hop on the train for a 28-minute ride to the bustling city center—you've got to get those souvenirs somehow, right? Bonus points for the sky-high ceilings in the lobby, where the windows let in ample light to fuel your morning e-mail crunch."

We stayed at the SkyCity Marriott twice on our recent trip, and both times were an absolute pleasure. We were warmly welcomed by Viona at check-in on both occasions - she was kind, friendly, and genuinely hospitable. She even arranged a complimentary extra bed for our daughter, which we really appreciated.||The rooms are spacious and clean, with fantastic views and an equally impressive bathroom. The location is super convenient - right near the airport with a free shuttle to and from both the airport and Tung Chung MTR station. It's also a short walk from the Asia World Expo MTR, which made getting around very easy.||The indoor heated pool was a lovely bonus, especially after long days out. Overall, we had an excellent stay with consistently warm, friendly service. Highly recommended if you're looking for a comfortable stop near the airport!

I've had the occasion to stay several times at this high standards airport hotel, travelling as air crew, and the stay has always been very pleasant. The hotel is less than 10 minutes driving from the Hong Kong airport. All the ambiences are quite huge, luminous, modern and clean. Rooms are quite huge, clean, very silent and furnished with all comforts...I'm so glad to have find a so comfortable bed. Leisure club is remarkable. Gym is very well furnished, with machines and equipment to do most of the cardio and weights workouts, maybe placing a bit better the machines there would be the space to add couple more of them like chest bench and a lat machine. Food & beverage offer is very good as well. Breakfast buffet is outstanding with a huge selection of savoury, sweet, and healthy options. Very appreciated also the local hot bowls 🥣 selection. Lounge bar is very cool and relaxing with a nice selection of drinks including some local beers selection and Asian style cocktails. I've the occasion to appreciate the room service, super fast and with nice selection of dishes and drinks. Although it is an airport hotel, with express train from the station located in the conference centre just next to the hotel, you can reach Hong Kong city centre in half and hour. Last but not least very polite, professional and helpful staff. Absolutely recommended 💯

As usual, we (Papa, Mama, and two sons, 14 and 10) ended our summer break with a night here. ||A flight delay meant that we missed the Happy Hour in the lounge. This was a pity, but obviously not the hotel's fault.||We used a Marriott upgrade to get a 1-bedroom suite. This was very nice, although a little small for a suite --- 1060, in the corner. The room was comfortable, with very nice views.||Breakfast was, as always, very enjoyable.||Parking (a friend visited us for about an hour) was quite expensive. The room price was very competitive.||We enjoyed the stay, and will be back.||Recommended!

We were actually enjoying our stay in Marriott SkyCity HK for the 4d/3n we were booked. We were upgraded to seaview, the shuttle from airport and Tung Chung and the location from airport. Got a great deal for around 200USD per day but no breakfast. It was almost perfect. However, Wipha happened and they charged us more than double. We could not say no as it was T10 outside. We were charged 2500HKD or 350USD for one night and no breakfast. At first they even said that we might not be accomodated due to high demand. Then when I asked again after a few hours, they agreed but was charged almost double. It was sad since we did not have any option. It would have been ok to charge a little bit more but considering that our flight was cancelled and we were stranded, a little empathy could have gone a long way.

The customer service here is outstanding, friendly and attentive staff made our stay truly enjoyable. The convenience of a shuttle bus to the airport and underground station was a huge plus, making travel hassle-free. The breakfast buffet offered a fantastic variety with plenty of delicious options to start the day. The swimming pool was clean and well-maintained, perfect for a refreshing dip. Highly recommend this hotel for both comfort and convenience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Google
Really terrible customer experience at this hotel and I would not recommend it to anyone to stay here. It’s more like a 1-star hotel. I am a lifetime platinum member and this is honestly the worst customer experience I have ever had: 1) Do not recognize platinum members 2) Had meetings in the executive lounge at 8am, was told I could not get a coffee from the automatic coffee machine (even though breakfast is included in my hotel stay), but then when my colleague arrived, who is European, he was allowed to have a coffee from their coffee machine (clearly they treat people differently based on the color of your skin) 3) Cannot provide clear folio upon checkout, one of my expenses at their restaurant could not be captured and they asked me to tell the restaurant (which is their own restaurant) Will tell company to change hotels in the future

Google
Very nice Marriott with the usual amenities. The gym, 50m indoor lap pool and spa were excellent. Club lounge was great and the main buffet breakfast was very good. Just one complaint and that is there are no egg tarts among the breakfast offerings !! Hong Kong and no egg tarts is just not fair ! 10 mins walk to the Airport train and 25 min straight into Hong Kong Kowloon station. Staff were outstanding.

Google
Great all around. Personalized, friendly service each stay. I have stayed here a few times when laying over in HK and the hotel can get busy, which can delay check-in, elevator wait times, and breakfast wait times, but when it's NOT busy, this is an ideal place to rest between flights. Front desk remembered me after weeks, the rooms are clean and spacious, I got some very nice personalized touches, and I've taken the public shuttle and also the private van to get to the airport. Both are excellent. The breakfast has tons of options. Overall, 5 stars.

Yelp
Beautiful clean hotel. They have an air purifier in your room! Usb c compatible charging ports and breakfast downstairs. They have a shuttle to and from the airport. The shuttle will also drop you off at the train station.

Yelp
Close vicinity to airport with free to/from shuttle service, friendly staff, and nice hotel. Our lobby staff is excellent, friendly, knowledgeable and Selena has exceeded our expectations. Will repeat on our next trip to HK and hope you will enjoy your stay.

Yelp
all good, nice front desk, friendly staff. clean room, not like other hotel in Hongkong, room here has amber space. close to airport. frequent Connection shuttles to airport and bus station/shopping center. Would be 5 if the drive for the shutter to bus station could answer our questions, we tried Cantonese, Chinese and English, he simply didn't say a word.

Yelp
I am often in and out of Hong Kong. As of late, I've been working in our Hong Kong office at times, and stay in Causeway Bay. I booked this hotel because mainly I wanted a place to crash between flights. Penang, Malaysia and San Francisco. First of all, they upgraded me to a corner suite at the lounge level. Second of all, the small hot appetizers served at the lounge during dinner time was amazing. Third of all, they have a great breakfast spread with the best BBQ pork buns. Finally, the view is spectacular. I had literately, by then been living in a suitcase (or two) for over a month, covering 13 countries, and I was beat. Also, there was a hugely important project where we had to work day and night. And on top of that, the team outing in Penang was exhausting - we ate, drink and partied until the bars closed down every night. So to have a nice comfortable suite is very important. Every twenty minutes they pick you up at Terminal 2 Bay 29 and 30. That's important. Because you don't have to pay to go from airport to the hotel. Lounge is at 12th level. The food is better than the airport, though airport is good but this you don't have to pay if you have status. Loud Americans spotting. Obnoxious and showy. Lots of real estate discussions. A minus because a true wealthy person does not brag about wealth. Still, it could be just that night. If you can, get room 1201. Corner suite. Great view into the bay. Ask for foam pillows. They brought two before my check in. Very cool. Large bath. I soaked until I was almost conked out. I was ready to go home. To see my loved ones, my favorite pup, and to take in a breath of fresh California air.

Yelp
The Marriott hotel is literally located at the airport, 5 minute complimentary shuttle ride. It's really what the doctor order after a long flight and a layover. Check in was a breeze using mobile app. Was only at the front counter for 2 minutes. Mobile check in is the way to go folks. The room was clean, had all the amenities. The bed was super comfy, good quality bed sheet. The AC and wifi worked great. Check in is 2PM and check out is 12PM. The free shuttle service was great. After you pickup your luggage, go to terminal 1, counter B05 and checkin with the folks at the counter. They will direct you where to go. The hotel has shuttle service every 20 minutes to the airport. The SkyCity Marriott is great choice if you have a layover. Super close to the airport, free shuttle and the quality you would expect from a Marriott hotel. Use the check in mobile app for a enjoyable experience.

Yelp
I had an overnight layover in Hong Kong and decided to stay near the airport so that I would be close by for my flight the next morning. There actually is a stand (B05) on the arrivals hall near the bus parking area that has the Marriott logo, and they went through their list to confirm that I was a guest. I was then shown to their bus parking area and then waited for their bus to show up. It was a pretty short ride over to the hotel (maybe 10 mins) and felt pretty seamless. During check-in, there had been an influx of passengers due to a cancelled flight I would assume and they apologized for the short delay. I was then thanked for being a member (a general member at that as well!) and given an upgrade to a view. I was kinda surprised since I had no status but appreciated it! Going into the room, it was pretty spacious (and that's even by Hong Kong standards). The bed was comfy and had 4 pillows on it! I slept extremely well and didn't want to get up the next morning... Sob. The outlets were HK pronged but they had an universal adapter on the table for guests to use. If I remember correctly as well, they had complimentary water bottles as well. Going into the bathroom, they had the usual Thann kit and other amenities in there. They also had slippers in the closet (yay!). The shower was kinda weird, had to climb in a bathtub and required some dexterity. The view was pretty nice and I wish I had captured it but I was running low on time and so had to go out to get some egg waffles. The convenient thing is this hotel is connected to the Airport TransAsia (or TransWorld) Station, which is the Airport Express line and takes ya to HKG/Kowloon in 30 or so minutes. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the track in total from the front desk. If you're trying to stay somewhere local, they do have one bus to Disneyland Hong Kong in the morning returning at night, along with a shuttle service to Tung Chung MTR (Citygate Outlets) since that's kinda disconnected to everything else. Pretty good place to stay if you're staying near the airport, but not really all too much in the surrounding areas. Hallways and hotel look slick, room was spacious. Better than the usual airport hotel!

Yelp
This is a great hotel. Big, Comfortable, Clean, 5 minute shuttle ride from airport. TIP: The power outlets here are not USA type. All the rooms come with the adapter on the desk in your room. TIP: Take free shuttle to the MTR station and from MTR will be 30 minute ride to downtown Hong Kong. TIP: Take the free shuttle back to the airport to eat!!! Best Dining Airport in the World. TIP: You are near the Big Buddha Mountain. Go and see it! Namaste. Om Mani Padme Hum. TIP: Free coffee only self served from 5am-7am. It will be in plain view as you enter through the main door. TIP: There are complimentary Windows and MAC stations if you need to surf the net, check your email. These computer stations are to the right of the main bar (right after you enter through main doors). This hotel is excellent for layovers because of its vicinity to airport and luxurious rooms. Highlight is the gym. Clean, airy, and a panoramic view of highway. The pool is also great with a lifeguard always on duty (See my pictures). Men's Lockerroom only had 4-5 showers and a jacuzzi next to the showers. This hotel is also right next to (skyway walkway) to the Asia-World Expo Station which is a decent size Convention Center.

Yelp
A quick overnight stay at the Marriott's. Nice size room, comfy bed. The bathroom was nice. The shower had great pressure. The best part of this stay was the robe and slippers! I'm such a robe and slipper person when it comes to hotels. By far, this hotel, provided the best robe I've ever put on! It was a perfect fit, the material was cozy thick and soft! I'll need to find a way to buy one through the hotel! Hahaaa! We had a quick breakfast at the Executive Lounge. It had a nice view of the harbor- if you're into watching airport construction, it's interesting. The breakfast spread was mediocre; fruits, pastries, salad and an omelet bar. The lounge furnitures were a bit used. The upholstery needed some TLC or overall replacement. It was quick stay, not long enough to really knit pick. The staff were friendly. Overall, it's a nice enough hotel to stay.

Yelp
This hotel is fantastic. From the airport shuttle service to the room quality, everything about this stay was fantastic. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very professional and helpful. I'll be sure to stay here in the future and will certainly recommend this hotel to friends needing an overnight stay near the airport.

Yelp
I had to transfer in Hong Kong on my way back from Singapore and as I was arriving late in the evening and leaving early AM, decided not to trek into HK for the night. I selected the HK Marriott at the airport and it was a nice surprise. Service was impeccable and I really appreciated the personal welcome and in-room checking on arrival. The hotel transfer service from the airport was also quite good and made for a smooth visit. While I missed visiting HK proper, the Marriott did a nice job being more than just a standard airport hotel.

Yelp
This hotel is a good choice for anyone who has to work a convention or get a night's rest before an early morning flight. Otherwise, there is no reason to stay there. The lunch buffet was included in the convention package. Otherwise, I would not have gone. It is overpriced. The options are plentiful, but not worth it. I only got noodles which were very good. For Marriott elite members, the concierge lounge breakfast is sufficient and doesn't cost extra.
google avatar

Yelp
Stayed here just for one night before transiting into China. You might receive an email from the hotel Days before asking you to go to arrival hall B counter 5 for shuttle information. Instead for you to take the long walk, just follow the signs for Terminal 2 (about 5min walk)once you exit from baggage claim then follow the signs to Hotel Bus (or they say hotel coach). The bus leaves from Door 29/30. Its about a 5 min bus ride. Extremely helpful bus driver, front desk staff and cell staff. Very friendly and the smile is genuine not fake. Clean rooms and great breakfast! Some might not be used to the air plane noises but we were ok with it. We might stay here again in the future since it is fairly close to HK Disneyland and other popular tourist attractions. A side note: we were under the impression that we could spend a night then take the ferry from the airport and get into cities near by in China, turns out if you want to do that, you have to leave on the same day, or you will have to go into ferry building in HK island or Kowloon the next day. So the ferry service inside the airport is for same day departure ONLY!

Yelp
We randomly searched for a nearby hotel closest to the airport for our overnight layover in Hong Kong. This Marriott was super clean the staff was very friendly and although it was only for a short time to was very convenient. It is only a 4 min drive from the airport and there is a Marriott shuttle bus that you use for transportation. I enjoyed my stay here and I completely recommend it if you have a layover or if you're in the Hong Kong area. I also left something at the hotel and they were very helpful and fast with checking the room and making sure they found my belongings. We are working out what is the best delivery option currently. I recommend them for a great stay! Also the outlets are different so just simply ask the front desk for an adapter and they will bring one up for you.

Yelp
I generally find international Marriott hotels better than their domestic counterparts and this was no exception. After visiting the welcome desk, I was addressed by name and transferred to my car waiting just outside the lobby. My check-in was done in my room which was well appointed, spacious and cool (temperature). A small amenity was in my room when I arrived probably due to my Platinum status with Marriott. With that, I also had access to the lounge and breakfast in the morning which was incredible. Fresh pastries, juices, an Asian section, and cooked to order eggs. No problem with English either. Easy to access city with short walk to convention center and train stations. Takes maybe 16 minutes to HKG center. Would return.

Yelp
This Hotel is amazing! Super super close to the airport. Free hotel shuttle. The staff is very accommodating. They work hard here and it shows. Checked-in the middle of the night got a room and was finally able to sleep. The beds are comfy and the pillows are soft. You walk into a world of relaxation. If you ever have a layover in between flights or just want that great hospitality close to the airport this is the hotel for you.

Yelp
So I managed to miss my connecting flight from HK to Vietnam...not really the news anyone wants after sitting on a flight for 15 straight hours. With a seven hour layover, my mother and I were given a voucher for the Marriott to go rest and eat before returning to the airport...I must say, that this is the way to keep a delayed traveler happy!! They provided a free shuttle to/from the airport which runs every twenty minutes, and the hotel is only minutes away so that gave us plenty of time to rest. The check-in process was a breeze, the staff was very friendly and the hotel was very classy, modern, clean and boutique like. The beds had fluffy white linens, plenty of towels and toiletries including several soap options, lotion, toothbrushes, a razor and shaving cream and shower cap. There was also a mini bar with just a few items (all I can remember was a red bull and m&m's) and two bottles of complimentary water. Overall, a very well kept and upscale boutique hotel. Clean and safe and they had free wifi too! Would stay there again (but hopefully not because of a missed flight)!

Yelp
We were guests last end of April. We visited for 3 days to attend two Trade  Fairs. I'll be very honest, the hotel was my second choice. Camlux Hotel was my first based on the rave reviews. If there were no booking mishaps, then we would still be there. Although, we like Marriott to the point that we keep a Rewards Membership w/ the Hotel chain. Hence, it became our second choice. I personally am very picky about a lot of things when it comes to choosing a hotel. Especially after seeing a show on how hotels do not change sheets after each guests, wash glasses, You can get paranoid after that. So, when I booked w/ Agoda, I clearly specified what I wanted. These were our experiences: 1) By the time we checked in, it was around 9am. (Yes, it maybe earlier than the usual, but I requested for an early check in time since we were arriving at 7:45am). But they informed us that our room was not ready yet. So they offered us to freshen up downstairs & to check back in at 11am.The male receptionist said there was already a King size bed available but it just needed cleaning & he will advise housecleaning to take care of it asap. Good. We then proceeded to freshen up & that helped a lot after a flight of over 20hrs. By the time I got out it was past Noon. I checked back in w/ front desk & Grace who was there told me the room was still not ready. I was really shocked. After 3 hrs, still it was not ready. I was exhausted by then. I reiterated to her how I requested an early check in, but she was a bit rude by saying how there were other guests who came before us & the normal check in time is at 2pm anyway. At that point, i couldn't comprehend things anymore. The question left here was how long does it take for housecleaning to clean one room? & second, how back up were they for them not to be able to still clean our room? Finally at a few minutes to 2pm.. we got our keys. Imagine that? So much for requesting for an early check-in... that was futile. Fail. 2) when we got to the room, first thing I noticed was the round table next to the sleigh couch, it was dirty. You can clearly see the watermark left by the glasses on the table & they weren't wiped down properly. The ledge where the lamp stood had dust that you can see w/ your own eyes. I went to the bathroom & it had 2 big stains that were very visible. You could tell they were not part of the marble floor design. Then my husband called me back in to check out the view. Indeed we had a nice view of the Bay.. so I was pretty excited. But when I got to the window, I stepped back! OMG! I seriously said to my husband, what are they doing to this poor hotel? The view is amazing but what the freak? The glass mirror was so freaking dirty, I felt like I was looking at a horror movie w/ all the cobwebs & black streaks. It totally ruined the view! It was sad! See photos. 3) Then come breakfast, I thought it was just me... I had the smoked salmon. I'm such a big fan. I can never resist smoked salmon. But, on our first breakfast meal, I had allergies. I reacted to the salmon. I started itching & my face started breaking out. We went to the hotel store to see if we could buy allergy medicine but they didn't have any. So, I made a mental note not to eat any smoked salmon. The next day, We had the lunch buffet. I didn't touch the fresh raw seafood. But I got some steamed garoupa. Wow! After eating it, it hit me again! I think their restaurant is not using fresh seafood. I have been eating fish, shellfish all my life.. a whole month in fact prior to coming to Hong Kong & I had no allergy reactions. But now this. Something is not right. Going around Hong Kong feeling uncomfortable is not the right way.  Although, there are other pleasant things we've seen as well. The driver of the shuttle is always smiling & corteous. The bellman & concierge at night & in the afternoon shifts are extremely polite & helpful. Sara from front desk is patient & tries her best to assist us. Housecleaning fixes the room everyday & I'm sure with the number of guests & the high turn around, they are trying their best. This hotel just needs to add more staff to be more efficient during peak season & if only their GM can act like one & actually be seen, that would be something too. They need to stock their shop w/ allergy medicine, esp w/ visiting tourists.. this is a must!  Didn't want to bother anyone at the hotel knowing how busy it was everyday. I'm not the type to create a scene. I'd rather take it up directly to the one in charge, hence the manager.. but she was nowhere to be found. The hotel is attached..seriously attached to Expo World.. walking distance literally. So that's a convenience. But if you need to go to downtown, they might have shuttle services or cabs. It's about $270HK. No microwave in the rooms.. I don't remember a refrigerator too. So, this hotel is actually a 3.5 star rating w/ the kind of amenities they have.

Yelp
The hotel is located on the airport property and runs a free shuttle to and from the terminals. There is also a second free shuttle that runs to Tung Chung MTR Station. There is a large mall and shopping center at the Tung Chung Station and the entrance to purchase tickets to go to the Big Buddha. There is a public transportation bus that has a stop near the entrance to the hotel. The bus route goes from the hotel to the airport terminals, the main bus terminal at the airport to the main bus terminal at Tung Chung making stops along the way back to the hotel. There is a full bell staff on duty. The lobby is on the first floor of the hotel. We were checked in by Summer. Summer was very helpful explaining the transportations and the local area. The main dining room serves a full buffet breakfast every morning on the first floor. There is a lobby bar and large seating arear. The room had a good view of the airport area. There was a safe and full bathroom. The Internet connection was very good. The housekeeping staff was very good.

Yelp
I stayed one night in this hotel last month. When I checked out, they asked if I wanted them to charge in USD or HKD. I selected USD. Their exchage rate is to your disadvantage. I learned.

Yelp
Beautiful luxury hotel, the rooms are very comfortable. Staff are friendly but the food is super expensive. Close to the airport and train station which is convenient. Came for a quick business trip and it was good.

Yelp
Great hotel. Stayed only one night when I missed a plane connection. Room and bathroom very nice and clean. Executive lounge was great. Drinks always available, but food stopped at 10 pm. Breakfast in lounge and restaurant downstairs was very good. Very close to airport with a free airport shuttle, and easy walk to World Asia Expo subway station. Appreciated the fact that they had electric adaptor in room for US plugs. Would definitely consider staying again next time I am in Hong Kong.
google avatar

Yelp
Great hotel to stay on a layover in Hong Kong. They have a shuttle bus that runs regularly between the terminal and hotel. The views from the hotel are great. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well designed. We had the breakfast on the executive floor (12th) and it was very good. Eggs cooked to order, salad bar, Chinese porridge, fish, dry cereals, juices, and fresh ground coffee brewers.

Yelp
Stayed here a few times and love this hotel. The staff is just wonderful and they go out of their way to help. Restaurants, Lounges and Bar are always welcoming and a great place to dine. If you are ever stuck at the airport, I would recommend you spend the night here.

Doctor A.

Yelp
A very nice hotel next to the airport! After a month-long tour of several Asian countries, my wife and I stayed here during our last day while awaiting our return flight. Although this hotel location would not be a good choice for tourists, it did make our brief stay very comfortable and convenient while traveling home. Often, airport hotels are a bit tattered and tired -- not this one. This Marriott is right next to the airport, but is attractive, well maintained, very quiet and offers guests an enjoyable experience. For Platinum Elite members, the Executive Lounge is just wonderful. Also, the frequent and handy shuttle service is a real plus. We would stay here again while in transit and can happily recommend this hotel to other guests.

Yelp
Love this hotel! Only stay here one night when I'm arriving or leaving Hong Kong or China but it's always awesome. If you have Marriott elite status they totally take care of you. Even if you don't, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Nice executive floor with snacks. Light breakfast in the morning, cocktails in the evening. New, as an elite benefit, you can also have the full buffet breakfast on the first floor. The Chinese restaurant is to me, a foreigner, very good, with 1/2 portions of Peking Duck and Hong King style goose. Hard to choose. Sky Bistro has an extensive menu for dinner and the buffet restaurant is always good. Airport shuttle to take you to or from HKG.

Yelp
While en route to and from a business trip to Macau we stayed at the Sky City Marriott at the Hong Kong airport. If you are familiar with Marriott hotels, then you know what to expect and it's why I choose them when I travel outside the U.S. Sky City Marriott was no exception, hitting the mark and then some. The hotel is clean and polished, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, the Concierge Lounge has a great view and a patio to enjoy tasty treats and beverages from. When checking in, be sure to pay for breakfast with your room rate...it is discounted if you pay in advance and free for Platinum members and two guests. The breakfast buffet in the hotel restaurant is massive and includes American, European, and Asian selections along with fresh fruit juices, pastries and beverages. Dim sum, congee, eggs, bacon, fresh melon, croissants, muffins, and more are waiting for your indulgence. About $20 USD Is a great price for a hotel, breakfast buffet in general, but it's a bargain for this one! Why four stars not five? The spa. Several of us chose to get massages and were rated 4 out of 10. Reasonable pricing for a hotel in Hong Kong ,but just not worth it for the quality of service. If you don't do the spa, then consider this a five star review.

Yelp
Stayed 4 nights here while my husband attended work meetings in the hotel conference rooms. First time in HK and I was eager to get out and see the sights. I was on my own and the young men at the concierge desk were so incredibly helpful and kind in helping me both arrange a planned tour as well as taking off on my own using the subway. Only issue I had was how to find the hotel shuttle at Tung Chung station. The little map they hand out was not useful. Always so pleasant to come back after a day of seeing the sites. Hotel employees would welcome me and ask me about my day. So lovely! Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The free WiFi never failed and would automatically reconnect each time I came back to the hotel. This hotel is not in the heart of HK, but it's easy to get in and out of the city, and the staff is so pleasant, I hated to leave.

Yelp
Nice hotel, super close to the airport with a great breakfast buffet. They have a free shuttle to the train station, which is useful, because there's absolutely nothing else around. Good for a night before an early morning flight.

Yelp
We arrived late in Hong Kong so we decided to chill out and booked the airport hotel for the night. What a fantastic idea. The rooms at Marriott Skycity were spacious and clean and the check in was smooth and easy. The guy at the check in desk wen walked us to the lifts! The room was surprisingly quiet given it is near the airport, we even have the "airport view" which is really more like the carpark view lol We woke up early to use their really nice pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam and rainforest shower, which was great after a long and exhausting flight with a little one. The only two negative things I have to say about this hotel is that the staff don't really understand English and the lights in the room is operated by one main switch. You either switch it all off or not... I couldn't leave a small bedside light on for reading while the little one is asleep. And if I have to be slightly critical the non smoking floor smells like smoke. That would have been a huge problem however the room doesn't smelly smokey which was good! So no complaints there!

Yelp
An excellent business traveler's hotel. Good accommodations and facilities. The gym is really good for a hotel gym. The western style restaurant is okay, not great. If I stay here again, I'll dine at Chinese restaurant instead.

Yelp
I stayed here overnight during my stay in hk for less than 24 hours. I had to stay near the airport for the following day's flight, as i was making an intra-asia flight. Once i checked in, i went into the city to TST and the Peak. I also wanted to go to the Big Buddha. Unfortunately, it was too late in the day to go via public transit and the cable car was out of commission for a few months. Marriott allowed me to put my bags in storage with the concierge, which made things convenient as i didn't need those bags during the trip. Returning to hk i was delayed 1.5 hours, making it close to impossible for me to take the airport shuttle to marriott to retrieve my bags personally. So, i contated the hotel when i landed waiting for my bags from my intra-asia at the carousel. Explained my dilemma and not a problem! The concierge took down the data from the tag receipt i read off to him and sent the bags to the marriott airport counter. Finally after 30 min in retrieving my stuff from my intra-asia flight, my bags from the marriott were waiting for me! Thanks, Marriott!! I've also stayed at the Central location when i was in town 5 years ago. Also, nice! You guys are awesome! Next time if i arrive, i must try the gym/pool/jacuzzi.

Yelp
I stayed there last year, booked a day room. They sent me an online confirmation letter which didn't state their payment policy at all. When I got there they required me to pay the full amount upon check-in. I asked them to pay upon check-out, as a normal practice around the world with a credit card deposit, but they refused. Asked to talk to their manager-no result at all. Instead they asked for deposit equal to the entire room fee which was ridiculous, who does that?! Also, the room wasn't very clean. Marriott is a reputable worldwide hotel chain but this hotel is very poorly run by the locals with their dodgy payment practice. Never again for me!

Yelp
Very nice hotel with close proximity to the airport. Very clean room with plenty of space and good view of harbor. Only stayed one night but couldn't really ask for more. Comfortable!

Yelp
This Marriott is a pretty nice airport hotel. They offer free shuttle service to and from the airport, so your ride is less than 5 minutes. The room was pretty big, and the staff were helpful and friendly as well. One thing to remember is that this hotel isn't close to any shops or restaurants (other than the places inside the hotel), but for a one night layover, it is a good choice if you don't want to stray too far from the airport. There is also the airport express station next door at the expo center in case you want to head down to Hong Kong island or Kowloon pretty quickly.

Yelp
Great hotel, excellent location right by the airport. Quick and efficient shuttle bus service. The hotel is clean and the staff is very friendly. The expo center is right next door, and there is the Airport Express train station there. The food in the restaurant is excellent.

Yelp
Stayed here 2 nights on a quick mileage run and it's definitely worth it. The rooms are absolutely fantastic and stocked with everything you need for a night's stay. The breakfast (included for Gold members and above) is stocked with dim sum and every thing you could possibly want for breakfast foods. My personal favorites were the pancakes and chocolate chip belgium waffles. Also the free shuttle to and from the airport and to the nearest metro is extremely convenient. The front desk staff is also friendly and efficient. I was upgraded to a suite on my second night and couldn't believe the amount of space in that room and a separate tub and shower in the bathroom. I would definitely come back again if I'm in the area.
