"For a classy souvenir, head over to the Hongqiao Pearl Market to pick up a strand—or six—of South Sea Pearls. Be sure to browse the stalls first to get an idea of the scope of options (everything from technicolor concoctions to perfect orbs dangling on 24K gold chains) and don’t forget to haggle a bit over the price. I discovered a great tailor here, Angela's. We had suits and shirts made for both my husband and I. The quality is next to none. The pearl jewellery is beautiful, with a wide range of prices. Yes, one can bargain here, but being reasonable and respectful is essential. Fatima's shop has a good range of silk bedding. I bought pure silk pillow cases that weren't cheap, but the quality is worth it. Fatima was helpful and lovely. This shopping mall is very close to the Temple of Heaven, which is a must-see in Beijing.

First floor: clothing and tea. Second floor: jewelry Recommend walking around and comparing vendors for jewelry. The prices they give you are just a starting point, and many are 4x overpriced. The tea shop on the first floor was very welcoming and made several teas for us to try before we bought- she insisted!

Nice shopping market of pearls, electronics, bags, silk, etc. A lot of bargaining is needed here. Highly recommended

I have known it for years and now it is not very crowded, after the Covid pandemic. You can buy pearls. Custom suits, suitcases and jewelry accessories.

This place is full of pearl jewelry shops and custom made tailor shops. It’s a three floor building with very less shop. If you are looking for cheap market place to shop for clothing and shoes than this is not the place. It’s not recommended until and unless you really want to buy good pearl jewelry or you want to stitch a dress. Some people get confused pearl market Shanghai with Beijing pearl market. Beijing pearl market is full of pearls I mean raw pearls but this place in Shanghai is only with pearl jewelry. Price was it’s ok not so cheap though. If you really want to explore than only you can go but there are not much option for shopping.
