Brilliant! We did the adrenaline pass and loved every minute. Harry and Caitlin were great guides throughout, friendly, chatty, knowledgeable. The activities were fun. I thought I wouldn't be able to do the free fall, it's scary! But Harry and Nash were so reassuring and calming that I instantly felt at ease and just did it! Thanks guys x

Absolutely great experience doing the adrenalin pass as a group of 7 - we all loved it. The infinity bridge and the jump are a great rush and highly recommended. Andy and Heather (I think) were great instructors who were super professional but fun and kept us safe the entire time.

Absolutely fantastic! This needs to be done if you love adventure and a thrill. You get to the establishment and book in. There is ample car parking front and rear of the place. If you haven't already booked your parking with the adventure you're on, the parking will cost you, £5. Once all booked in and car park ticket in the car, to the meet up place by the main entrance. There, you will get your helmet and harnesses on and get instructions from your guide. Then, once all informationed up, you get on a bus and make your way up the hill to the start of the adventure, and it is a lovely view, I must say.. There you will get off and your adventure starts.. Through an old mine way, dark in places and rough ground so walk steady. There, you will get to the point of your tour, there you will be advised on what to do regarding being safe and hooked to the cable at all times! Safety is paramount doing this. It isn't for people who are afraid of heights, but great if you want to overcome your fears of heights, etc.. There, the fun will begin, with vertical, decents, and inclines, all with a great view again. I had so much fun, and the guide we had was a great person and did a superb job! Highly recommend this event to anyone, so much to do and see. 10/10

Via Ferrata Xtreme - my solo Vegan adventure. I arrived early and the team happily bumped me to an earlier slot. 👍🏻 Whilst I waited I used the bathrooms, very clean. And then checked out the Sky Hi Café I was happy to fine a few vegan options. Cold option - A falafel sandwich, hot - Vegan sausage roll. Not to mention a choice of two sweet treats from the cake cabinet. A fruit flapjack and a WeLove Bakewell tart. Also a few vegan friendly crisps and drink. I think there may also have been a frozen treat option. The via Ferrata Xtreme experience itself was very cool. After a how to clip & not die instruction safety briefing.. I was a little nervous to find out it's not guided. You're on you own (the guide are stationed and you're within eye/ear shot at all times. Whilst on the clipped in bit of the experience. It's not for the faint of hearted. And decent upper body strength IS NEEDED as there a quite a few point where you're leaning out away from the wall at a step angle. That being said it adds to the thrill. Once you complete the course your walk up through a mine tunnel and then hike another 15-20 minutes to the summit. Don't be fooled. GO RIGHT walk the extra 5 minutes... where it's obviously higher.... The views WILL BE worth it. The walk down was well market and easy. And all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and would 100% do it again

We had the most amazing experience here! My partner and I went mid-February and booked for the infinity bridge, followed by climb the mine. The drive up to the slate mine was challenging for my little car, but we made it! Parking was easy as was booking in. We first did the infinity bridge, which was breathtaking! We were the only two there, so we really got to take our time, enjoy the views, plus we had the most amazing guide who talked us through it all! Then climb the mine was equally amazing. There were different paths if you were more cautious, like I was or harder paths if you're more adventurous, like my other half. The guides were so helpful, and the whole experience was just brilliant - an absolute gem in the lakes I would highly recommend!

The walking mine tour was a very original experience of an industry that dates back a long time. Was fascinating to learn about the history of the mine, it's the last working slate mine in England. Rather disturbing to learn about the child labour of the early 20th century. Enjoyed walking around the mine and Sam the tour guide was very good. Would advise wrapping up warm and if tall be prepared to duck a lot. The shop there is really cool, not your standard gift shop but is a bit pricey.

We did the mine tour and it was excellent. Really interesting the guide was fab and funny. I can recommend it. Worth making sure you wrap up when you do as it is quite cold down the mine. Loads of things in the shop, produced at the mine or locally so we were able to support local businesses.

Great. We wanted to make a garden Crevice back home and hoped that the Slated mine might sell scraps/off cuts etc. as its not mentioned on there Website. Having asked at the their shop they offer "Fill Your Boot" for £30 with anything from their rejects/scrap pile area. Brilliant Tons of choice to suit all needs. BTW the Honister Pass is an amazing must see
