Honu Oceanside

My wife and I were on our honeymoon and made a reservation at Honu Oceanside, and it may end up being the best decision we make on this trip. This was easily one of the best dining experiences we have EVER had. We sat down outside on the patio sitting right on the edge of the ocean, a truly breathtaking view. We were quickly greeted by our server Megan who was FANTASTIC, she was beyond helpful for us picking food and cocktails on the menu to try and she nailed every suggestion. She was quick to get our drinks and food out and was right there for when we needed anything all night I’ve never had better service at a restaurant. Appetizers we got the Cesar salad, Burrata, & the Filet Mignon Carpaccio and my god were they all 10/10. For dinner I got the Crab Mac & cheese, she got the Scallops. The only down side of getting the appetizers we got was saving room for dinner we both were licking the plate for everything they brought out. To cap off the story we were unlucky in the sense that we were told it never rains in this area and it has been going through a drought, and low and behold while we’re at this amazing spot Mother Nature didn’t want to cooperate. On the fly Megan and Justin one of the owners came over scooted our table under some cover, and made us feel as comfortable as they possibly could have. My wife was sitting there a tad chilly from the wind and rain, and the brought over a shall for her to put on. Seems like small details but I couldn’t leave this part out because of how above and beyond the went from the moment we walked in. Megan, Justin, and the entire staff thank you so much for making this a truly unforgettable dining experience on our honeymoon. If you have got to the end of this long winded review I would do anything possible to get a reservation at Honu Oceanside you will NOT regret it!!!!!

Had dinner here recently after making reservations for an oceanside table and what an amazing experience it was! We were assisted by Jordan who ensured we had an absolutely amazing experience. She was assisted by other staff who all worked to make out experience wonderful. Appetizers included a very flavorful Kale Salad and Carpaccio. Main course included a grilled Mahi mahi and filet mignon which here made to perfection! Dessert included a dish I highly recommend, the Butterscotch Pot de Creme (picture included). It was so amazing we had to take an extra back for another day! Everything was perfect from reservations (highly recommended) to departure. We will definitely be back for more!

We happened upon this delightful restaurant. We didn’t have reservations but @5:30 we were able to get in & get a beautiful view. The hostesses were very nice & sat us right away. We had a great server as well, lovely lady whose name I forgot. But the food was so great. So many different flavors combined in unique ways. The cocktails were great as well. Very lovely spot right on the water!

This place was truly the cherry on top of an amazing honeymoon! My husband and I went here for our last dinner in Hawaii before heading home and it didn’t disappoint. The service was excellent from the start. The view was obviously gorgeous and seriously the most ideal spot for a romantic dinner. But the view is a given, it’s the food, beverage and service that make it spectacular. Our cocktails were delicious and the chefs special (mahi mahi with lobster bisque risotto) was to insanely delicious. They sent us the cutest dessert in celebration too, a very nice touch. Book a table here! Honu Team, thank you for such a memorable and special dining experience!

A friend recommended going to Honu, so we came for our last night in Maui & all I can say is wow! The view of the ocean is amazing. Our server, Megan, was great. We were given a complimentary toast for our honeymoon & the food was delicious. It was cheaper than Mama’s Fish House but still expensive, although I think it was worth every penny. I’m so happy we came here before leaving.

My husband I had reservations for 4:45 in hopes of seeing the sunset. Seating for oceanside view was beautiful. Our host, Jerry, brought us champagne since we were celebrating our honeymoon. The food, drinks and atmosphere were amazing! We can’t wait to go back to Maui and Honu Oceanside. The octopus appetizer and butterscotch crème brule are a must.

We had dinner at Honu Oceanside last night and overall had a great experience. We arrived about half an hour early and the place was already pretty packed, so we walked across the street for a quick drink. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and when we returned at our reservation time they seated us right next to the ocean. It was a rainy night, so the patio covers were down and we weren’t able to fully enjoy the ocean view, but they kept everyone comfortable and dry. The atmosphere was still fresh, lively, and fun. Service was excellent from start to finish. The food presentation was very well done, and both meals were delicious — we ordered the fresh mahi-mahi and the crab salad, and both were generously portioned. Pricing was about what you would expect for an oceanfront restaurant in this area. Even with the rain, we really enjoyed our evening here and would definitely come back, especially on a clear night to take in the full ocean view.

Outstanding meal. Every plate was perfectly displayed as the flavors perfectly matched. Dishes that leave you craving them days later. We started with the Ahi, followed by the octopus and ending with the crab Mac and cheese and filet migon. Incredible flavors, fresh as the ocean and seasoned so perfectly. Even the carrots were charred perfectly. We ended with the butterscotch pot de crème! This was far better than Merriman.

Awesome evening! We had the best table near the water for our table of 4. Jerry was our server who was great! Enjoyed the carpaccio and seared tuna bruschetta for our appetizers. The margarita was off the charts! The fish special was incredible! Everyone loved their entrees! The dessert was enjoyed with the Banana coconut cream pie and the macaroons ( special). The pineapple macaron was so darn tasty and unique. The owner, Justin was super attentive which made us appreciate his focus on the details and execution of his establishment! Impressed with this place! Definitely a " must" to do when you are in town!

What a truly beautiful experience. Dinner during sunset was absolutely magical. My husband and I visited the island to celebrate our marriage, and we were hoping for something unique--something that still offered the charm of the island while feeling special and elevated. Honu delivered in every way. From the moment we sat down, the service was impeccable. Our server was attentive without being overbearing--our water glasses never dipped below half before being refilled, and the cocktails kept coming. The White Lotus was my personal favorite, followed closely by the Kula Colada--both were tropical perfection. For appetizers, we indulged in a half dozen oysters, shrimp cocktail, Ahi Bruschetta (to die for!), grilled Spanish octopus, and the Filet Mignon Carpaccio. Each dish was beautifully presented and even better tasting. For our main, we shared the Diver Scallops--so buttery and tender, we were literally fighting over the last bite. To close out the night, we split two espresso martinis, soaking in the final rays of sunset with full hearts and even fuller stomachs. Honu isn't just a dinner spot--it's a full experience. We'll be recommending it to friends and family, and every anniversary trip we take to the island will begin with a reservation here. A perfect memory we'll cherish forever.

Came to celebrate my birthday and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Made a reservation well in advance but was able to change the time a couple days ahead of time with no issues. The restaurant looks great and is clean and modern with incredible ocean views. We were seated promptly in their covered patio section that is right up against the water. It was a bit sunny so I would recommend sunglasses if you come before the sun sets. I don't recall our server's name but she was excellent. Checked in regularly and was happy to provide recommendations. We started with the truffle fries which were excellent and a good portion. We also had a Caesar salad which was fine. For entrees, I had the filet while my wife went with the scallops on our waitress's recommendation. Both were fantastic and perfectly prepared. For dessert, both the pot de crème and chocolate mousse cake sounded great so we opted for both. I loved them both but would give a slight nod to the pot de crème. Overall, a really great experience and happy to be able to support a local business.

Wow this was one fancy and elegant restaurant! We came on a hot July early evening and it was still a little uncomfortable inside. Nonetheless the staff and especially our server Jerry were very welcoming and made the atmosphere more pleasant. The hostess said the restaurant weathered the Lahaina fire with minimal damage. The ahi bruschetta appetizer was next level and worth the price. Everyone loved their entree dishes - Mahi Mahi, monchong fish, crab Mac and cheese, and lobster salad. The star of the evening was the Ciopinno with very generous portions of lobster, muscles, shrimp and fish in a wonderful savory broth. Definitely all had a wonderful experience.

Worth the splurge for a special occasion. Ambiance was perfect, you can't get a better view ( that's what you're paying for)! Service was outstanding! Everyone is so friendly. Highly recommend the ahi bruschetta & the Spanish octopus that was cooked perfectly. It was so tender. My favorite dish though had to be the lobster salad. So light and refreshing. Deserts? Of course! Yummy caramel pot de crème. If you're a sucker for crème brûlée like me you'll love this and can't forget about the coconut banana cream pie.

Spectacular seafood restaurant with an upscale casual vibe. It's pricey but worth it. Reservations are probably a good idea, but we got in on a Monday night with a little over a half hour wait. Service was impeccable, making great suggestions and guiding us to the best items on the menu. Be sure to listen up for the specials, of which there were many! Highlights of the meal: Grilled Spanish octopus. Tender and unctuous. Dore style fish. Classic preparation done absolutely perfectly. I don't remember the fish but this was a real favorite. Diver Scallops: dude. I could have eaten three plates of this. Lastly, we treated ourselves to the Banana Cream Coconut pie. Whoa! Why hasn't someone thought of this before now? Gadzooks!! I will definitely be back.

Still amazing,we were so glad. Reservation essential, you can't go wrong here. Bring an appetite. Portions on mains are extremely large but so it the price. Don't miss the Ahi Bruchetta, and might be a long way from San Francisco but the ciopino is fire!

We had a nice dinner here. I appreciated that they gave us complimentary glasses of champagne for our anniversary. The food was yummy and quick. I had the chef special over risotto and we got the ahi bruschetta which was delicious. We ate on the patio and it was nice. They open the sun shades before sunset so best to get a table around sunset to be able to see the water better.

What a beautiful experience. We sat and could see the beautiful view. Drinks were excellent (pay for top shelf drinks!). The food was absolutely beautiful. The staff was wonderful. We found out about the restaurant from our friend who shops at the farmers market who buys her jewelers. Her husband is a waiter. And boy she was right! It was such a beautiful experience and the food was truly spectacular. I loved the service and presentation. They made a cheese pizza for my kids too.

Brianna provides the best client care in this beautiful restaurant. Also, the manager came twice to verify that the service is the best possible. We vacation here every year. We go here for dinner, and even get the same table. Definitely it is worth the visit.

What a great experience! The view, the food, the ambience, the service, everything was perfect! When I made the reservation, I asked for a table by the ocean and although I was told it's not guaranteed, they sat us right by the ocean! Amazing - you can hear the waves splashing, the sunset was spectacular! We ordered beef carpaccio, ahi bruschetta and the monchong fish special - yum Desert was chocolate mousse- also great! Our server, Jolene was professional, friendly, full of positive energy - we felt like we met a friend. Thank you, to all the staff for making our night really special

My fave restaurant. Love the relaxing ambiance. Bar seating is casual & relaxed. Love talking to the people who sit next to us. Selection of libations is everything. Service is superb! Quality and freshness of the food is like farm to table!

Came here for my birthday dinner while visiting Maui. Started with a cocktail (Bees Knees) and a dozen oysters. Then I had the diver scallops and my husband ordered the fish special, which was a snapper dish, and everything was delicious. We were pretty stuffed by the time dessert rolled around, so we got the macarons which were the right amount of sweet but light. They come with one each of pineapple, salted caramel, and strawberry. All of the things that we tasted were so delicious and balanced. It really feels like a lot of thought and effort goes into each dish. We brought our own wine for this dinner, and they were very accommodating about it, but we probably didn't need to as their wine list is great. When I say that our table was right next to the ocean, I mean RIGHT next to the ocean. The water was about 2 feet away from us! We even watched a couple guys hop onto their water taxi to get back to their boat. Overall, it was an amazingly wonderful experience and we will definitely be back.

Honu is a true gem: amazing food and drinks right by the ocean would already be enough for a 5 star review but what warmed our hearts was the hospitality of the entire crew. We felt treated like regulars already at our first visit. Pam, Justin and Lisa went out of their way to make us feel special. Thanks a lot guys, we will be back.

Fabulous date night meal at Honu this evening, everything was PERFECT! from Wes our server's diligent and friendly service, to the female manager who brought Hubbs a complimentary Pho mocktail with ginger beer. We couldn't have asked for better customer service, it was absolutely lovely. Honu is always a great date night restaurant and we had a table for 2 with a scenic view, and a sunset and stars to set the vibe for the evening. We decided to start with a cocktail and a mocktail as Hubbs was nominated driver: PHO COCKTAIL - Gray whale gin, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, pho simple syrup and habanero tincture. Wow, what a cocktail, fruity with gin to begin, then a few seconds later the pho syrup and habanero kick in to leave a totally phomazing aftertaste. It is like having 2 cocktails in one. I don't know how they do it but it is magic! My new favourite cocktail on island :) Forget run of the mill Mai Tai and do yourself a favour and try this deceptively magical cocktail! THE ACQUITTED - mocktail, Seedlip Spice 94, Prickly Pear Puree, Agave and Lime. A fascinating taste for non drinkers that they don't get very often. Curiously alcoholic leaning even though it is a mocktail and alcohol free The food was unbelievable: OYSTER SHOOTER - umami ponzu, lemon, tobiko and wasabi made a melange of interesting flavours and a delicious shooter which arrives on chipped ice with seaweed garnish CIOPPINO - a beautifully tasty San Marzano tomato stock with a strong fennel flavour, fresh fish, shrimp, clams, mussels with a side of crusty foccacio to dip into all that brothy goodness. The fish melted in the mouth, excellent! SCALLOPS - with garlic mash, Shiitake Beurre Blanc, Gremolata and Malaysian Pepper Sauce. OMG this was a "died and gone to Heaven" dish, sublime, and all my favourite foods on one plate. The scallops were cooked to perfection and the sauce the perfect compliment, not overwhelming, subtle. My compliments to the chef on this outstanding dish LILIKOI TART - lilikoi curd in a short pastry shell, raspberry coulis, torched meringue and a chocolate honu. Hubbs devoured this dessert and loved every mouthful. Not too sweet, a little tart, and so moreish. HENRI PERRUSSET, MACON-VILLAGES Chardonnay - Macon, France, I ordered a glass to finish my meal while Hubbs ate his dessert. It was smooth, delicious and the perfect end to a perfect meal Such an outstanding experience, and to top it off they give a Kamaaina discount for locals which means we can afford to eat out. I really appreciate restaurants who give Kamaaina discount as they are looking after locals as well as tourists and making sure locals can enjoy a night out on island too. Mahalo! Honu is an amazing restaurant, we have never had a bad meal or even mundane meal here. It has always been top notch with excellent service and culinary excellence. You can't go wrong here, just order the seafood and you will be thrilled.

We were in Maui for 7 days and ate at many different restaurants and this was, by far, the best food, service and ambiance we had! The scallops were like butter! Everything was a delicious bite from beginning to end. Yes it's expensive but so so worth it !!

Went for a friend's birthday and the food was delicious! We got oysters and octopus for appetizers. Of the entrees, the scallops were my favorite (we did family style). The server knew the menu well and extremely accommodating given we had a baby with us. The view was beautiful as it was right on the water. I would bring a sweater just in case you get sat in front of the a/c!

This place fired on all cylinders! First off, I have to praise our server, Jolene. She did an amazing job and her smile was infectious. As far as the ambience goes, the moment you walk in you feel a vibrant energy. The decor is subtle yet elegant (ie the doors to the restrooms). We ordered the cornmeal fried oysters for an appetizer, I had the diver scallops, the rest of the table ordered a mushroom pizza, the peppercorn crusted filet, and the burger. My friend said it was the best burger he's had in the island. I was able to taste the filet which was mouthwatering. It had the perfect amount of sear for a nice crust. My scallops were cooked to perfection with a nice sear on the outside, and soft and silky on the inside. Kudos to the chef and staff here. Well done!

Wow! What a view!!! Parking can be challenging. Small lot. Limited street. Just need to walk a bit. Had reservations and seated immediately. Got a seat right on the water!!! So grateful to score epic seating! The service was amazing. Owner came by to ask how things were. The food was great. Started with the shrimp cocktail with large pieces. The clam chowder was delicious. Amazing flavors and the perfect creaminess for my taste. The mahi mahi had a great sauce and cooked well. The banana coconut crème pie was a great way to finish the amazing dinner. The view. Front seat to the sunset on the ocean!

We had a party of 8, with two kids, everyone loved their food! Our waiter Mikey did awesome, and bonus he did amazing with the kids. We've been in Maui for the past week and this was our favorite meal so far. I'd definitely recommend trying to friends!

Service was great, the manager even came by at one point and checked to make sure we were OK. They accommodated any food request we had, the food was outstanding appetizers, main course and dessert. We set outside on the patio by the ocean incredible views for a great evening.

The best meal and dining experience that we had in Maui. This was a birthday treat for my husband, and everything was great from the food and service to the ocean views. I don't like mushrooms, but decided to try the scallops anyway, and I'm so glad I did. They were perfect and the sauce was outstanding. My husband had the filet and I had a few delicious bites. We couldn't decide on dessert and got both the chocolate cake and pot de cream. While both were done very well, the pot de cream was heavenly. Definitely check this place out if you are looking to indulge in a nice meal on the island.

Had my 50th Birthday dinner here and they treated me like a celebrity. Food was amazing, drinks were so yummy and service was on point! Sitting literally right next to the ocean while dining is an experience everyone should have! We were even lucky enough to see a few Honu (sea turtles) swimming right next to where we dined. Such a special night!

All of our food was excellent. Justin was a great server, attentive but not overly present. A manager, Pam, stopped by to check on us and gain real time feedback. Great vibe. Very pricey but felt the quality of the food and portion sizes justified premium dining pricing in an area that is already over priced due to tourism. First time dining here so glad to hear they reopened after the Lahaina fires and are providing a great experience.

We had a very well prepared three course dinner this evening. Two well done cocktails, one was the special at the time. Seemed like the bartender personally brought us the cocktails. Started with a shrimp cocktail for each of us, we then had the ciopino and the grilled octopus. Dessert was creamy butterscotch (it was delicious), topped off with cappuccino and a glass of port. For this delicious dinner pricing was very reasonable, I didn't mention that you practically sit at the Pacific waterside. Service, setting and food all get five *....!

We came here twice during our week stay on Maui. This place has such a beautiful view, service was great, and the food was easily our favorite the whole time we were there. The short rib, the peppercorn steak, scallops, pizza, everything was so good. If we had this place in WA, we'd be there on a weekly basis. Definitely make this a go to!

This place was more than I could've imagined. We went for my partner's bday and have had trouble finding good food on any of the days we've spent on any island so this was such a win. The ambiance was perfect with sitting right on the rocks to the ocean and the sound of crashing waves to through dinner. Our server was exceptional and so friendly and timely . Now for the food We started with half order of oysters and they are hands down THE BEST oysters I've ever had and i loveee oysters . Almost went back the next day just for an order but was too late . We then shared chopping along with Spanish octopus and a random side of mashed potatoes that I needed. Everything was just absolutely amazing! The Spanish octopus was flavored so well and the Cioppino fully delivered. We were hoping to get some good seafood so if that's you searching you 100% won't be let down if you dine here. The cocktails were also top tier while I don't drink my partner got their signature old fashioned and he said it was one of the best he'd ever had. We will absolutely be back and happy we got away with such a good dinner Oh and dessert we got the butterscotch and took it to go and was soooo yummy.

Aloha, Honu Oceanside is a solid Lahaina restaurant. Located on the far side of the Lahaina and lucky enough to have reopened recently. Fantastic views with sea breeze in the open-air restaurant. Food and service are superb. The soup and Cioppino base were awesome. Will definitely return to work our way through more of the menu. Great beers and wine choices. Very nice hostess and server. Enjoy!

Beautiful restaurant with a great view and great food and quality service. The tuna bruschetta and the octopus were good. I loved my entree which was some local white fish encrusted in nuts with a risotto. The chocolate dessert was good as well.

We easily got a reservation. Sat right next to the water, it was like dining in the ocean. I loved every moment. The service was impeccable, we never felt rushed, and everyone was perfectly attentive. You have to order the Ahi bruschetta!

Back in Maui! Glad to see Honu back in business after the fire. Well, the staff here did not miss a beat, every detail was seen to. Seated us quickly at an awesome table, choice of still or sparkling water served quickly, and menu explained. Drink order was taken and served quickly. Started with the ahi bruschetta (of course)-excellent! They serve this gluten free as well. We also tried the truffle fries (yum!). Water refilled constantly, empty plates cleared quickly and table cleaned immediately. I ordered fish and chips (boring, I know, but it's one of my wife's favorites, and we always share). Three large pieces of fish (mahi, I was told), crisp, hot fries and and awesome pickled vegetable salad on the side. Served with tartar sauce, ketchup and chili aioli for dipping. Others ordered ossobuco, mahi dore style, diver scallops, and fish of the day, monchong. Each dish was wonderful, served hot and was delicious. Ended the night with the butterscotch pot de creme. Best meal of the trip! We will be back!

Great food. Friendly staff. Excellent drinks. Very friendly for food allergies like gluten and dairy. We had the Mai Thai, mushroom soup, ahi meatballs, and the chicken dish. All delicious! We will go here again! And great view of the ocean

First time back since they reopened. Still our favorite restaurant on the west side of Maui. The food and ambiance were spectacular as usual; we always try and come at sunset for an extra beautiful view. Love the ahi bruschetta and they had a Wagyu ravioli special that rocked. We enjoyed their diver scallop and fresh fish of the day entrees immensely. Can't recommend this place enough!

It's the best food in Maui! I had the lamb chops, and oh wow! They were delicious! The service we received yesterday evening was very friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with simplicity and elegance. It's right by the water, so it's a great place to take photos before or after dinner--a 10 out of 10.

our bartender at our hotel recommended this restaurant, it is by far the best place we've eaten since we've been here. Our server Meghan, made some outstanding recommendations and everything we ordered, from our starter (the Barada, and also the ahi bruschetta, )to the Desert was five star. I can't say enough nice things about the service and the food, both were outstanding. Even Justin, one of the owners came by to check on us and to make sure everything was going well.This was by far the best seafood and steak we had on the island. I highly recommend you take the recommendations of your server. If you're looking for one of the cookie-cutter restaurants, this is not that, if you're looking for an amazing superior experience, you should try this place.

A friend recommended this to us and we are so glad we went. It was a full house and it's great to see so many out enjoying life. This restaurant has you returning for another fun night out. The food and service is fantastic so make reservations in advance so you can get in on your schedule. I ordered the Roasted Short Ribs that came with creamy mash potatoes and garlic mash, pieces of roasted garlic aside the potatoes to blend as you please. Fresh long green beans and a carrot wedge on top. I ate it all and was completely satisfied. The Feta Salad was great filled with many goods I felt it would have been more to my liking if it contained more leafy greens. I ordered a Manhattan and that too was made perfectly.

Incredible food and excellent service from Anthony! We celebrated our anniversary here and had a great experience.

My husband and LOVED everything about the entire meal! We had the crab salad, the Burrata and tomatoes, fish Dory style, short ribs and the apple pie. Every single dish was so flavorful and delicious and presented beautifully. Service was excellent and we never wanted for anything. And as far as the atmosphere goes, how could it get any better when you're sitting right on the edge of the ocean! They did a really nice job on renovating the restaurant and so glad that they're open again! Love the new menu! We enjoyed our evening there so much that we made one more reservation before we leave next week!

Wow, once again they didn't disappoint. Wonder where the Lahaina Grill's Chef went? Here! Some of their excellent servers came along too. This is one of the few waterside restaurants on Maui. Love the vibe. Great for a romantic dinner. Wine choices were great- and we are picky! Parking is challenging so prepare to walk a few blocks.

We had the oysters, fried oysters, carpaccio, osso buco and so much more. The food was great, the service excellent. They set up a table to congratulate our friend's anniversary.

We visited On December 20, 2024. The food and the ambience were spectacular. Excellent service. Would dine here weekly at a minimum if we lived local. Outstanding. Very much looking forward to our next visit. Reservation is a must.

Same review as Mala (I believe they have the same ownership which explains having the same experience). The food here is very good. The service was better than Mala, but the drinks also contain as little alcohol as possible which is why I only give them 3 stars. For $20+ a drink, I should feel it by the 3rd drink. Not the case here. But my filet mignon was damn good as were the potatoes au gratin. We figured out the secret Lahaina eat/drink hack by the third day - go to Coco Deck to get cheap, strong drinks ... THEN walk across the street to either Mala or Honu for amazing food.

As someone with a gluten allergy, I appreciated all the options they had. Our waiter was great and let the kitchen know of my allergy which I greatly appreciated. I had the fresh fish dore style with mahi mahi and it was delicious. My husband had the filet mignon which he said was delicious as well. The restaurant is right on the water and it created a nice backdrop for dinner watching the sun set. Definitely check this place out if you can! :)

Oh my yuuuummm! We had a wonderful time here, from a last minute Friday night table being available (thank you table gods!) to cocktails, appetizers and a surprisingly DELICIOUS octopus dish! Since I was here last years ago the inside has been renovated and updated bringing about an elevated overall experience. The bar was bumpin (and big for seating & accessibility) and looked fun, people were waiting to get in the door and it feels like we got in just in time (book a table ahead of time to make sure you can eat here!). The bartender, servers, bus crew and owner were all super nice too. The menu does not disappoint! Do try the octopus! I have a sensitive pallet for flavor and texture and every time I've tried octopus before here has been not good, but here was amazing! My first bite had me thinking the texture was more like chicken (take that as "tastily cooked" for octopus!) and the flavoring then and every bite thereafter was amazing. Let it shock your slippas off! Glad my friend talked me into trying it!
