Hooglandse Kerk

Leiden Center, my friend, is the best thing in the city. You find people coming and going there, the shops are open, and the atmosphere is lively. You feel like you are in the heart of the event. Everything is close to you: cafes, restaurants, and markets. It's all there. As for the Högland Church, it's a story in itself. It's an ancient monument. Its appearance from the outside impresses you. You feel the grandeur of the building, and when you enter, you feel a wonderful calm, even when the world outside is boiling. The church has such a special atmosphere. You feel the spirituality of the place. They also hold events there. It's not just a place for worship, but it has value due to the city's history and beauty. Leiden Center is the beating heart of the city, and the Högland Church is a distinctive landmark with its history and beauty. Together, they give Leiden a special and distinctive character. Hooglandse Kerk in Leiden is a beautiful church, but when we got there, it was closed. The outside is amazing! The church was built in the 15th century and has a rich history. Even though we couldn't go inside, we could still admire its stunning architecture.

I like the place. It's prayerful, minimalistic, bright. Different from overloaded Catholic churches. They also have cool events/concerts that are often for free such as the Saturday organ concerts at 13:30 during summer.

I watched an orchestra concert here. The church was huge from inside. But when I attended the concert, it was cold, I don't know if they have heater or not

still don’t get why none of the churches in the Netherlands can be visited… beautiful on the outside of course but the whole value is taken away by the fact you can’t get inside

The Organ Concert Promenade every Saturday in the summer is something not to be missed in this beautiful church. Also the last art exposition about light and darkness was very impressive in this church setting.
