This was our first time eating at this restaurant. Tramaine our waiter asked if we had questions, which we did, he answered with great enthusiasm. The food was delicious and generous portions. We had a shrimp 🦐 boil and a mussel boil with 2 catfish baskets. We would love to come back!!

We sat at the bar and were pleased with our bartender. She was attentive, friendly, and had no problem talking us through the menu. She even made some wonderful suggestions. This restaurant makes a big deal if it's your birthday. We heard them sing about 3 times. Each time, they had a lot of energy from the staff. I tried the catfish po'boy, which was delicious. The wifey tried one of the boils. She was very pleased. We will be coming back.

So disappointing! This is not my first time ordering at this location. This time I received horrible order. My order was worth $200. Instead of shrimp, I received empty clams, missing shrimp totally!!! I ordered garlic butter and I received regular butter and minced butter somehow!!!!! Plus I ordered a whole lobster and they sent me a lobster that was reheated, very stale. Never ordering again even though I had been a regular customer at this location

Went there today to have dinner with my daughter. Maybe 2 or 3 people in there. She ordered the flounder basket. Me,the shrimp one. Mine was ok, my daughter got fried flounder. 4 nice size pieces on top of fries. Well after the first one, the rest was actually just the batter fried with out any fish in them! She didn’t want to complain, why I do not know. I will attach pictures of that. Waitress was very nice. But honestly she was all we liked. Our baskets were 16 and 17 dollars each. More on the menu was expensive.

riley!

Absolutely delicious!! Our server Laura was so sweet and the food was amazing. She kept checking up on us and 100% will be coming again 😋

I loved the mood and music but the service was great! We had the sweetest waitress and she was attentive and friendly. The food came out in a timely manner and was so delicious. Great restaurant if you want a simple date night. Definitely will be back.

My family & I went for lunch for Happy Hour. I must say that everything about this restaurant is very pleasant. We were able to get in and get seated immediately. Ncole was pur waitress amd she was very attentive, she knew everything about the menu, and was very patient as we decided what we were going to eat. The service she provided to us was great as well as was the food. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
I've been dreaming about seafood all week. I finally fulfilled my craving when I came to Hook & Reel. I was super excited b/c I've been dying to try this place. I didn't get the chance to try it until now for my birthday weekend! We (my sis,her bf/daughter)were seated right away. Myra(our waitress) was a good vibe & had uplifting energy! I was about to order a boil (different foods) separately but she told me about a deal for only $41.99. It had the same components that I wanted. 2 clusters of crab legs & 1/2 pound of shrimp. It came w/ 2 potatoes & only 1 corn(I was sharing w/ my niece b/c I don't eat much). I ordered an extra side of corn(2 pieces). I ordered the original Cajun sauce & mild spiciness w/ a side of fire sauce. There's 3 levels of spiciness:mild, spicy,& fire. There's many flavors which include:plain, dry(old bay only),original Cajun, garlic butter, seasoned garlic butter, lemon pepper, & a hook & reel special blend. My sister ordered mozzarella sticks for the table. The mozzarella sticks had a descent cheese pull. The crust was crispy & the inside had gooey goodness. Our food came out shortly (didn't wait too long). The boil was extra steamy & hot! The waitress could have been more attentive it's like they were short-staffed. She was @ the bar making drinks as well & she had a couple of tables. I had to go to the bar to get lemons I asked her for. I cannot eat seafood w/o a massive amount of lemons. She gave me a whole bunch so she made up for it. Now that I had my lemon I dug in. I went for the shrimp 1st. The flavor burst into my mouth & I was in heaven! The crab was tender & cooked to perfection! The potatoes tasted like it needed salt & was boiled w/o any. The corn was bigger pieces than what I'm used to. It was sweet & the Cajun sauce added a kick! The staff came over & sang happy birthday to me & my sister's bf. My birthday was 5/29 & his the day after (5/30). That was really sweet! Plus, they gave us cheesecake on the house! The cheesecake had a strange taste to it not sure how to describe it. It wasn't bad though! It just didn't taste like cheesecake I'm used to. Overall, I was totally satisfied w/ my food & def will be back! Misha (another waitress waiting on the table next to us) had to take our payment b/c Myra was busy!

Yelp
Came here on a Sunday afternoon to celebrate my sister's and boyfriend's birthday weekend. While seafood boils were their main attraction, I, not being a seafood eater found alternatives on the menu. I started with the mozzarella sticks, which, though slightly narrow, were served hot with a satisfying cheese pull and a crispy exterior that was truly enjoyable. To accompany my meal, I chose the rum punch from their cocktail menu; At just $10, it was a steal. I'm happy it was strong and not watered down. I tried my man's Hennessy colada, which tasted great, but was questionable if it was Henny in it, and not another alternative cognac. For my main course, I chose the breaded Cajun chicken wing basket paired with Cajun seasoned fries, I was thoroughly impressed. The wings were exceptionally big, crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor, making them some of the best I've ever had. The seasoned fries complemented the wings perfectly, adding an extra kick to the meal. Our waitress, Myra, enhanced our dining experience with her attentive and friendly service. She provided valuable suggestions, helping my sister select a combo that offered better value. Her thoughtful gesture of bringing out birthday cheesecakes with candles for both my sister and boyfriend added a special touch. While the cheesecake's taste was unconventional and didn't quite hit the mark, the complimentary dessert was appreciated. Despite not indulging in the seafood offerings, I found Hook & Reel to be a delightful dining spot. The quality of the wings and drinks alone makes it a place I'd gladly revisit.

Yelp
The last stop of my 40th birthday celebration! Decided to come here for some seafood that I have been craving for a long time. The other place we wanted to go to was a bit further away from home some Decided on hook and reel Cajun seafood. Great choice and hit the spot lovely. I ordered the lobster party boil. It came with two lobster tails 2lbs of shrimp, 2 lbs of snow crab legs corn and potatoes! I got the house special sauce and requested it spicey. Plus I added sausage and broccoli. That alone was a mega meal and so worth it! I enjoyed every bit of it. I also got a side of king crab legs. As if what o ordered wasn't enough. But it was my birthday! I also got to try the Cajun chicken wings that my girlfriend ordered with fries. She requested they put Cajun seasoning on the fries which they did. Those wings and fries were really good! We didn't know what to expect but it surpassed the expectation. The waitress was friendly, and the service was quick. Plenty of seating and the ambiance was fairly calm. Not much noise which is nice. Definitely a come back too seafood place for us.

Yelp
The ambiance was bright and colorful. Worked well for the place but also gave it a "last call kinda feeling I sat at the bar. I saw a bad review criticizing the bartender. So, it took a little bit for him to get to me and he said "apologize for the wait" which fixes it all in my eyes.. genuinely nice guy..so, it wa my first time doing a Cajun boil. I loved it. Go with the hook and reel flavor and hot (it's their middle and not too hot really). I got the pinch me paradise which was a lobster tail, 1/2 pound shrimp (no heads), broccoli ( I added corn- a must). Also had hush puppies which were great a nice cold draft and a rum punch( made from scratch). I loved it and will go back!

Yelp
I usually only like to go to one certain crab shack but to my disappointment one night it was closed! Off of the recommendation of a friend, I decided to give Hook & Reel a try. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! This place was wonderful. The staff were extremely kind and caring. The drinks and specials were perfect and the cajun crab was exactly what I was craving. Also the coconut shrimp was one of the best I have ever had, so sweet and fresh! Though I am still loyal to my OG crab shack, I will certainly switch it up and return back to Hook and Reel !

Yelp
ESpectacular!! Although I went on holiday and waited about 15 minutes, it was worth it! It is a place that they know perfectly what they are doing and cooking seafood and that it stays in its texture and flavor is a little difficult, but here they do know! I loved the taste of the food as everything is very well cooked and fresh, we chose the garlic butter in mind and it was perfect, there are also more options. The spectacular attention was attended to by Nicole, charismatic, attentive and very helpful, Thank you Nicole! The place in general is clean, has TV screens, is spacious and the decoration is suitable for the place, there is plenty of space for parking and the bathrooms are clean. I will definitely come back for happy hour!! Espectacular!!

Yelp
Came here on a date with my bestie! We ordered the reel catch - pick 1/ pick 2.  Not bad at all for 55$ We added more to it. Why not? Lol We had snow crabs, shrimp, crawfish, and a lobster tail.  There were potatoes and corn, and we added eggs and sausage. We tried the mild - with garlic butter seasoning. Literally top 3 greatest meals I ever had! It's an experience like no other! Our server Laura was amazing! Best server I ever had. She was extremely helpful, kind, and attentive. We need more servers like her. It makes the experience complete. The drinks were good too! I had a watermelon tini. The restaurant is awesome looking and very clean. I will 100 percent be back!
google avatar

Yelp
The signature drinks have great flavor but very light on the alcoholic. Recommend the calamari and hush puppies for appetizers. We had the crawfish, blue crab and shrimp which we all excellent. The blue crab were female and tiny but still tasty.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday for a girls lunch/dinner. First off our waitress (sweet T if I am correct) was FANTASTIC. Her energy her conversation we absolutely adored her and wish she could join us!!! The food was delicious we ended up sharing an order of snow crab, scallops, shrimp, extra potatoes, corn, and broccoli. Nothing was fishy and had a great time!

Yelp
We came here for the first time tonight as a belated Mother's Day meal. Frankly, it was disappointing from start to finish. The Good: The wings were actually pretty good. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fries were also very well fried and had a nice crisp to them. The Bad: The lobster bisque was very thick and grainy with nary a morsel of lobster. My shrimp po' boy was served on a stale roll and two of the breaded shrimps were still sporting big pieces of shell which was very unpleasant to fish out of my mouth. The Ugly: Service was abysmal. Our server was pleasant enough but barely checked on us. The food runner that brought our food was either high or would rather have been anywhere but there. He barely said a word and could hardly hand us the dishes. It was awkward to say the least. The cleanliness of the place was severely lacking. The tiled floor near our booth had grout lines so filled with black gunk that it was creeping up and over the tiles. I could hardly stand in front of the urinal in the bathroom without my feet sliding apart, likely from the greasy floors in the kitchen which says all I need to know about what must have looked like. I would be hard pressed to return. Hook and reel? More like catch and release.

Yelp
The food here is always delicious, but the ambiance is lacking a little to put it nicely. The crab fries appetizer is always my favorite but when I visited last weekend there was too much sauce vs. crab on the fries. The service can also be better, but those boils got me with that seasoned garlic butter sauce can't get enough. My pina colada was ok but my dates strawberry drink was stronggg. It's a chain restaurant so I would like to try one in another state to compare.
google avatar

Yelp
Their fried shrimp boat was excellent. When asked if I can get a bowl of lobster bisque as a substitute, even with a small up charge, they made that accommodation

Yelp
Loved it all! Food was delicious! Service was great! Good ambience too! Exactly what we were looking for!

Yelp
Shrimp crab fries wings so much good food nice person taking our order and goof drinks soup and chips.

Yelp
First, I want to know what this place WAS. The exterior is built to look more like a log cabin than a sea shack, and there's a vault holding the wine. It's interesting but an odd aesthetic for a Cajun inspired sea food restaurant. The food was really filling and very good. The complimentary funion-like chips were quickly devoured, and the lobster bisque was creamy. The crab meat sandwich was HUGE, and the sauce on the top a great compliment. The star was the crab meat fries - they were hot, overflowing with topping (so no empty fries) and aaaahhhh I wish I had more! It was really quiet for lunch, so it was a very relaxing environment.

Yelp
Place was so big and nicely decorated, clean, service was so/so got a new waitress who seemed to be new to the industry but she was sweet and tried hard and that's all you can ask! Wings were cooked really well, French Fries super crispy outside soft inside. Drinks were so/so added an extra shot helped lol typical chain restaurant style drinks but won't stop me from returning and ordering a drink. The boil was so delicious and flavorful! I can't wait to go back!

Dorinda C.

Yelp
Went here for my birthday the restaurant was empty as was the bar, told there was a 20 min wait for an empty restaurant was told was not aloud to sit at the bar hostess had know idea what she was doing, Will not be returning after this bazaar experience management needs to do better was looking forward for my birthday.

Yelp
This is a family favorite. Great food and service. We love it here. The special blend and seasoned garlic butter are so good.
google avatar

Paul L.

Yelp
It was ok. Nothing great, nothing bad. I had a mini shrimp boil, with traditional sauce. Had a little kick. Wife had flounder basket. Again, it was serviceable basic fried fish. fine for a quick lunch stop

Yelp
Now this is a Seafood boil that does it right. Fresh seafood, amazing spicy house special sauce drenched on everything. It's time to get messy here and I'll do it every time bc I'm coming back here

Yelp
What a great experience! Laura our waitress was incredible and very personable. She never rushed us and got everything right! Great drinks and amazing food! Justine I believe was a manager there and came Over and made sure everything was good. Great costumer service! 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Many things need to be improved! This was by far worst visit. I drive usually half hour to come here and today was a regret. Waitress asked my order but yet didn't put it in. My husband was almost done then to come back with the perfect storm with no sauce as I asked. The manager was very new his first day. Order should have been taken off considering I didn't eat once I realized he gave me wrong sauce. Waitress never came back to make sure order was correct.

Ray B.

Yelp
Terrible experience. We ate here on a Saturday for lunch, the place was relatively empty and we chose to sit at the bar. The bartender was rude and unfriendly, not sure if he was having a bad day but clearly took it out on us. The food was just ok, we ordered po boys which consisted of greasy seafood served on way too small hot dog buns. The buns were actually comical, not even close to a proper po boy roll. We could have tolerated the food but the rude service made it worse, we couldn't wait to get out of there and will never go back.

Curt H.

Yelp
Been a repeat customer for years but the last 3 times the service was horrible. Sauce wrong. Order wrong. Turned away at 855 when they're seating til9 for seating. I always order the most expensive meal n don't need a menu. Today. They messed up my order once again. I wanted two clusters of crab and they gave me one with a lobster tail. I also ordered another boil. Total bill was $140. I told them they did it wrong and they insisted on taking the lobster tail bk. It has to go into the garbage. Therefore to put up a stink to tht point means they are reserving food. ThTs gross and I will nvr return. I can't stand returning food. But right is right This was wrong. He even tried to put his hand in my food. Don't go here. Find somewhere else

Starr M.

Yelp
I ordered a mini boil maybe a hour before closing & they gave me anything ... I order a Cajun boil they gave me a garlic butter boil ... I will be calling in the morning to give my review you guys literally rush me off the phone & gave me whatever !!!

Yelp
I ended up here last night as my regular spot was closed and my second choice was also and I had a hankering for seafood. I was not disappointed. The place is really big, booths are ample with enough room for at least 4 at the table. Paper on the table, plenty of napkins, condiments etc. Lovely waitress (Sweet T) and she was really nice. She brought us some chips and let us try their best selling side sauce for the boil ins. We dipped them in the sauce. She explained the menu plus the Happy Hour specials which ran until 7 pm. The boil in bags looked interesting (next time for sure) but I wanted fried fish so I opted for the fried shrimp with sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked fresh, it was pipping hot and so so good. Hard coating on the shrimp but tender shrimp. Fries were so crispy for waffle fries.
google avatar

Yelp
It took awhile to find a quality cajun seafood boil, but this is the spot! If you're a fan of Boiling Crab or LA Crawfish elsewhere, this is the closest thing we have found in the area. The flavors are great, and it has the family-friendly vibe of a nautical-themed Chilis, but much more exciting food. My current recommendations would be the Lemon Pepper Wings and Fried Oysters for fried fare, and the shrimp, scallops, and sausage with the house spice blend for the seafood boil. Get your bibs ready, it's going to be a good time!
google avatar

Ilona K.

Yelp
The service was outstanding! 5/5. Hook & Reel is large and would be a great place for big groups. We were there early in the day, so the place was mostly empty. We ordered the steamed oysters, lobster bisque, and seafood boils. The oysters were just okay. The seasoned garlic butter sauce was good, but I wouldn't get them again. The lobster bisque was average - creamy with minimal lobster flavor. For our seafood boils, I got the scallops and shrimp in the Hook & Reel Special Blend sauce. I asked for spicy, but the spice level was non-existent. My toddler would be able to eat it. My husband ordered the blue crab and shrimp in the mild seasoned garlic butter. The sauce had a lot more flavor than the special blend sauce and ironically more "heat" - just from the copious amount of garlic. If I were to go back, I would get the seasoned garlic butter seafood boil and a different appetizer. The seafood was all perfectly cooked.

Sabrina A.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were really missing our favorite place for boil in NYC so we tried to find some restaurants in the area with similar food and we were so excited to check this place out! We got shrimp, crab legs and mussels to share and the hush puppies and garlic noodles to sop up all the delicious broth. There was plenty of food for both of us and we can't wait to go back! We ordered over the phone and headed to the front desk to pick up our order. Everything was packaged great and didn't leak! They even included disposable gloves and utensils. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. We can't wait to dine in next time!

Yelp
Legit seafood boil, the food was so spicy I lowkey almost died. Would definitely go back though, pretty good for the price.

Yelp
I was invited to Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood three years ago when they first opened to try their food and drinks and provide direct feedback to the staff. The experience was really good and I had hoped I'd be back but then covid happened. Luckily, I returned three years later and the experience was still top notch. The staff here is incredible and very attentive. Plus, the food is good and the drinks are so cheap.

Yelp
After a long time of being on lock down, unable to dine in, we finally made our way to Orange to eat at Hook & Reel indoors! All workers were wearing face masks, the seating was arranged to keep social distancing within the establishment, and the service was too notch to ensure the safety of guest and the workers. We were promptly seated and made our order: Cajun wings, Shrimp Po Boy Sandwich with Cajun fries, and a Catfish basket with Cajun fries. Kroepoek (as we call it in Holland), I have no clue how they call it here--Google would know--sprinkled with Cajun seasoning. The wings were amazing, perfectly crispy fried with the right amount of seasoning, not to blend and not to hot. The catfish and shrimp po boy also great of taste, and half way we were full. This is definitely a place to cone back to and get really busy with the seafood menu. Great place, great service and great prices!

Sarah S.

Yelp
I must say , Hook & Reel is very much underrated and should be talked about more ! Was greeted by friendly staff and the manager even checked in on my 2 friends and I during our meal. I really appreciated that. The food was tasty and the ambiance was very nice. I would highly recommend !

Yelp
Best seafood boil I've had in years, the service here was amazing, decor was amazing and it fit the place perfectly.

Yelp
I had to go because someone I know was raving about it and I never heard him recommend a resteraunt before. It was nice, not over priced and the bag boil was just awesome. Lots of scallops. In the future I will be carful and not order the "fire" rating on the sauce though! Apparently these Cajuns are people that can out fire me!
google avatar

Ules D.

Yelp
I don't know what I was expecting here since it's a chain and I don't ever go to chains so my rating is just comparing to a regular restaurant. PROS: 1. The seafood tasted pretty good. We got the garlic butter sauce 2. Prices are fair. 3. Able to customize your boil CONS: 1. They gave us the wrong beer on tap twice. 2. Never got any basket of whatever they gave everyone else who sat down 3. Waitress never provided plates or utensils but the nice guy who delivered our food provided them when he saw they were missing. 4. Corn was waaaay over cooked.
google avatar

Erick U.

Yelp
Hook & Reel was a pleasant experience! All the staff were kind and explained the menu and options in detail. Food was really good. Fried items were crispy not soggy. The boils we're tasty and the clam chowder was tasty. Interior decor lends itself to a goofy marine vibe. Would be a great place for families.

Yelp
Outstanding experience checking out Hook & Reel for the first time. Our waiter Jeffery was very personable and helpful with his recommendations. He went out of his way to make us feel special and really gets what it takes to be a good waiter. We also noticed the other staff we encountered were very friendly. Onto the food- it was excellent! We started with the hush puppies which were very flavorful. We then had our main course. We ordered the fried shrimp platter with sweet potato fries. This was good as the shrimp were large and the batter was light. We also had a boil bag with shrimp, snow crab legs, lobster, corn and potatoes. The portion was fair for the price and it tasted excellent. Thanks Jeffrey for outstanding service and to the rest of the staff for a great meal!

Yelp
From the second we walked in the door Hook & Reel was very impressive. I have been to this building before when it used to be Bear & Grill and I always like the look of the building and double sided fireplace but Hook & Reel made it much nicer. From the greeter when we arrived all of the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Ryan was our waiter and he was great. He explained the menu very well, answered our questions and was very personable. Daniella was the manger and she stopped over to chat and ask us about our experience. Really impressed as I saw her asking many guests how their experience was going. David the owner came over after our meal and asked us our thoughts as well. Super nice guy and we let him know how happy we were with the food and staff and definitely will be back. Ok the food that's what you want to know about right? Right from the rip we were off to a great start with the Prawn flavored chips which were Rainbow colored bright beautiful and delicious Old Bay Seasoning that come on the table when you arrive. I got a Lobster , Scallops, Sausage Broil with and White Rice as a side their custom seasoning Extra HOT Wifey got a Lobster and Shrimp Broil with a White Rice Side with the Custom Seasoning Mild. Both were incredible!! We shared a bit and every bite was bliss. I highly recommend the rice as a side and dumping it right Intro the broil it soaks up the juices so good and really compliments the broil. Also the potato that comes with the broil was incredible. So good swirled up in that custom seasoning I could have ate a dozen of them. The corn piece was nice as well and soaked up some of that magical seasoning. We both ordered dessert. I got a pistachio one and wifey ordered the lemon one WoW both we're super tasty, not too sweet and a good portion. Great presentation as well. Super awesome experience. We will be telling friends about this place and can't wait to come back again. It was fantastic 5 Stars all the way

Yelp
The customer service is the best shout out to Lina she's the best the food is the icing on the cake definitely five stars

Yelp
Its sad this place used to be good service. The server was slow, unapologetic and i understand shes pregnant but to wait 15-20 minutes for service? I refuse to spend my hard earned money for this. Teo'Linda is the best waitress they have and im not sure if she works there still but i would definitely go back if she is there. If not, then im good with this place. Slow service, unapologetic attitude and i left because of it.

Yelp
I came with a friend during their soft opening and was impressed with how large the restaurant was. There seems to be three separate dining areas with one area with a bar. The interior is pretty "hip" with plentiful decorations and large flat screens. We ordered a fried fish poboy and 1/2 lb Australian mussels, 1/2 lb clams, 1/2 shrimp lb, and 1/2 lb of calamari mixed with their special sauce. The seafood wasn't particularly impressive or fresh and the sauce was a bit too salty. We did however really enjoy the fried fish poboy, which should be named "catfish poboy" on the menu. They offer catfish sliders and fried fish poboy making it seem like the poboy is made with a different kind of fish. The catfish was fried well with the outside being really crispy and juicy on the inside. It was the best part of our meal. I was disappointed at the fact that they didn't serve Cajun fries when their online menu for other locations do offer it. Cajun fries are such a staple at most Cajun restaurants and people usually order it as an appetizer. The service wasn't that bad. They did have a sign saying that they were training their staff so I was acceptable of some delay. Our server also seemed really exhausted from a long day. Near the end of our meal we did get checked on by multiple "managers/assistant managers", which may just be due to their soft opening. This also seems to be a reoccurring problem, but their waiters seem to forget to offer silverware after serving the meals. They should have the silverware wrapped in napkins and have the waiters stuff it in their apron so they can readily offer after serving the meal. Overall, I will come again but just for the Poboys and cajun fries(if they start offering it).

Jennifer D.

Yelp
The service is outstanding, so nice. They remembered us the second time we came in. The seafood boil is amazing and out of this world delicious!!!

I was really looking forward to visiting this place after looking at reviews for seafood restaurant close to me. The restaurant is rather large with several areas to dine in. They had a bar area and two other sections to dine in. We were escorted to a dining area with booths and several tv's. Our server was Sophia and she did a great job of explaining how the seafood boil was and what dining options we had. For starters I had the lobster bisque which was very spicy a bit too much for my liking. For our entrees I had the shrimp (heads off) and scallops seafood boil. My girlfriend had the scallops boil only. Both of our entrees were off the charts! My only disappointment was the fact that they were not flexible with the other options in the boil. Because of dietary restrictions I did not want the corn and potatoes and instead I had the broccoli option which I had to pay as an extra. Essentially I would have thought if I was not able to have the potatoes and corn; I could be able to substitute it with the broccoli. I had to pay extra for it, but regardless it was so damn good! Two thumbs up good! I will definitely be back for more!!!

My niece took me here in the spring time 2022 it was my 1st time plus first time having seafood boil. I have seen so many people doing seafood boil mukbang it always looks good. The service was great from entering to seating to the order. I enjoyed the atmosphere and food. It's a definite recommendation for me

Yelp
Went here tonight my daughter for a Saturday night dinner. It was kind of a special occasion because we had not been out in a while. We actually were very excited to go to drinks because they had some delicious sounding drinks for six dollars each ( I had 2) . We had to ask the waiter how we ordered our dinners. We could not understand the menu. I ordered shrimp and crawfish and my daughter had shrimp and scallops. The meals came very quickly. She ordered hot spicy. And I ordered mild. Both of us start our meals were extremely spicy. When the manager came over to check on us and ask how we like their food we're literally in the middle of having a meltdown for both spicy air food for us. It was definitely an experience

Yelp
Horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who enjoys fine dining. It's like a fast food of seafood delicacies. But if you like butter & grease this may be the place for you

Yelp
This was a very disappointing experience all around. Ordered take out online. A seafood boil consisting of clams, mussels, lobster tail, crab legs and shrimp. The seafood boils come with potatoes and corn. First, when I arrived to pick up the take out the guy (I think he was the owner named David) insisted on seeing a confirmation email even though I confirmed my name and the order. Like I have never experienced this before. This guy must be paranoid or nuts. Long story short, everything in the plastic bag was severely over cooked and mushy. This includes most of the seafood and the potatoes and corn. It was really quite bad. Not inedible but certainly not something you'd ever want to eat again. I'm addition, the bag is loaded with about 6 cups of butter. The whole thing was unappetizing and disgusting. Yuck. The hush puppies were ok. Not the traditional hush puppies that I remember from Long John Silvers and Arthur Treachers but sadly they were the best thing we ordered.
