I very much recommend this restaurant. First, the service. Excellent. Very fast and super friendly. The food is very good but expensive. I trust that the fish is fresh and of highest quality. The desert was delicious. We spent a wonderful time for lunch and came back for beers in the evening. Same team in service, working real hard and still super friendly.

Quaint little seafood restaurant with a lovely view of the water. Plenty of Gluten free options. Sat on the terrace and enjoyed the sunshine while we ate. Scallops, chorizo, mussels, crab, seafood risotto, all were lovely. The today’s special was turbot on the bone which was fresh and cooked beautifully but a little bland for our taste. Overall great meal, service and ambience. Will return!

Incredible food in a laid back atmosphere. I visited with 2 friends (at their request after a previous visit!) We had another enjoyable evening. Our waitress took care of my dairy intolerance with ease and there was still plenty to choose from. Between us we had the mackerel as a starter which was divine, half a lobster, prawns, scallops and the risotto. Washed down with the exquisite Knightor baccus. Not a cheap place to eat, but worth every penny for fresh, delicious seafood. Another memorable evening. I'm sure we will return.

Had an incredible meal at Hooked on the Rocks. Service was impressive, all be it a little slow at times but it was very business, the location is second to none and is just majestic views. The vibe and atmosphere was awesome.

Had an amazing time as always, Katie you make us feel like as if we are turning up at a best friends house for dinner, The food is unbelievably good as always, the chef is incredible and that desert was the bomb. It was probably the best dessert I’ve had for years . Thank you so much xxx we bought our house where we did because we are just a few hundred meters from our favourite restaurant Hooked on the Rocks and our favourite beach Swanpool Beach. We love it ❤️❤️

A local gem overlooking a beautiful beach just outside Falmouth. Food is top notch and highly worth heading out of town for. Great parking, incredible views, and friendly service!

Came here for dinner and then came back the next day for the snacks van. Such incredible fresh and flavourful food! Highly recommend the crab fries and the mussels. Hot seafood platter was delicious and a good sized portion. Delightful finish with the refreshing coconut and lime posset. Staff were lovely too. Will be coming back next time we're in Falmouth.

Hooked was a fantastic experience both on terms of view, service, and food. The only reason for the 1 star less was the value for money and portion size. The day we went was a beautiful sunny day, so we requested to move from indoor to outdoor seating to enjoy the weather and the awesome view. It was my bro in law's birthday too, so Katie immediately checked and moved us to a free table outside. The service was prompt, and the I am told the food was really good. I couldn't taste anything other than my dish as I am Coeliac and the Thai Mussels in green sauce as that was #Gluten Free. The Scallops were the star of the meal, and 18 of them were devoured between 2 people. My only complaint was the waitress suggested the special of the day was a Turbot fish at 40+ Pounds but could be shared by 2 people, however when it arrived it was barely sufficient for 1 as there was only a few sautéed vegies with it. At 40 plus pounds, I would have expected a substantial meal with some mashed potatoes or rice and vegies. Because of this mis information, I was still quite hungry as I hadn't ordered any starters. All in all it was a great place with fabulous views, great service, good food and drink. I would definitely recommend it and go back again too.

Yelp
This seafood paradise is now known as Hooked on the Rocks. Different ownership. Tel is 01326 311866. Clean, sea blue and white decor, the restaurant overlooks Swanpool Beach, well away (but walkable) from the over touristed main part of town. In good weather you can perch on their semi enclosed deck. The food is the thing. Everything that came out of the kitchen looked good. We ordered their signature platter for two (could have fed 3-4): a massive pile of mussels, clams, scallops, tempura fish, and prawns in just a bit of a ginger/ coconut sauce. Rick Stein ( our venue the prior night) could learn a lot from this less pretentious spot. A bottle of a lean, mine rally picpoul-pinet was just right. Service great. Reservations advised. Total bill before the tip was £57.

Yelp
My partner booked Hooked on the Rocks last Saturday evening 16th July for my birthday, I ordered the chicken breast which was £24 and ordered fries extra which were £5 for 1 portion, when the meal came, presentation was lovely , a bit to much garnish on top, i was shocked at the tiny portion of chicken, 2 very small pieces of chicken , 2 things I dislike is been over charged and no where near the value for money, very disappointed and it ruined my birthday evening, I went home hungry.

Yelp
This restaurant is situated in Swanpool ana easy to get to from Falmouth. It has been called several other names in the past but the standard is still as good. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, but it's advisable to book in advance if you want a proper sit down meal. Most of the menu is fish based but there are still a few other options for meat eaters and Vegetarians and a tapas menu. Good wine list and kids menu too.

Yelp
Went for a spontaneous dinner after a long day of chores. We have been here a few times in its other guises, Three Mackerels etc, but the first time with this new name and presumably owner/chef. The appetizer portions were definitely large enough to share, and my duck entree was very enjoyable. In fact one of the best I've had, and I have ordered duck in many top restaurants in SF and NYC. When we arrived, the place was very empty, and strangely the server put us back to back with another table where two large men would be jockeying for space. I requested another table to give us one table separation from the diners already seated. That was my only reason for deducting a star - possibly a little more server training, and also having the servers able to answer questions on the night's specials. Otherwise, a wonderful view, cosy ambiance and very tasty food.
