Kostas truly made our day! Not only were the drinks delicious (a latte macchiato and a cappuccino, both just perfect), but his kindness, smile, and positive energy made the whole experience unforgettable. Considering it was only his second day at the store makes it even more impressive – he already makes customers feel so welcome and cared for. Warm vibes, delicious coffee – he definitely won us over! ☕💛

I come here since few years for the chocolate pastries, they are made and designed with so much love, every time is a unique experience. Not to forget, great coffee and very friendly owner and people working here. Highly recommended!

I got a tasty cappuccino and some matcha drinks from here. It was a busy time, but Erina (the staff) gave us such great explanations that we could easily decide what to order. This cappuccino really made my husband’s day 😉 I’d love to come back and try different drinks and those amazing-looking desserts next time!

The coffee was good however the service wasn’t. There were 2 people on the shift (which in my opinion wasn’t enough). I waited 35 minutes for 2 coffees. While the guy working was running around and doing so much, the girl was simply existing and taking the takeaway orders. Truly an irritating experience

Very interesting and delicious cakes! cappuccino and espresso are very good! the atmosphere is one of the most cozy environments I've been to! The prices were surprisingly low for the quality on offer. Different chocolates and chocolate mousse + free water are always available with the coffee! for 1 week we were there twice and we will definitely do it again!

Three and a half stars for friendly customer service and cute gifting options for the sweet tooth in your life. The coffee guide on the walls are a great touch for selecting the right drink for you. Convenient location near local tourism spots, though it gets quite warm in the sit-down area around back thanks to the natural sunlight filtering in from the Passage. I appreciated that they bothered with latte art on a to-go beverage order, which is something that's frequently disregarded back in the States. I was more impressed by the dark chocolate pistachio bark than the assortment of specialty chocolates (subtlety varies widely between flavors), but the coffee certainly hit the spot. The complimentary choice of a chocolate accompanying drink orders is a nice touch. I had hoped for some pedestrian pastry options like a pain au chocolat, but I'd settle for trying their sinaasappel oranje patisserie next time, along with their gepofte paprikasoep, warme quiche, and da hong pao thee.

Staff are friendly enough, and it's nice to have a bit of chocolate mousse and chocolate served with your tea, but the Granny's Apple Pie pastry was just okay, which was below what I expected for such a nice location. If it's a really nice day, choose to sit in the passage for people-watching and fresh air, though you can do so climate-protected if you get a window seat inside.

If you're looking for a great place to rest your tired feet, after a day of walking around the beautiful city of Amsterdam, look no further than Hop & Stork! We actually went to another place nearby, were disappointed, and came here and we're so glad that we did. First, it's a beautiful cafe if you choose to sit inside, and the seating outside is perfect for watching the many passers by. Second, the service is stellar. Order inside, find a place outside, and they will bring your coffee to you! Third, the coffee, and chocolates (we'll get to that), are delicious. Finally, the unexpected treats - along with our coffee came some free chocolates and mousse - put this place over the top! We'll be back on this trip, for sure!

The caption "Chocolate and Coffee" underneath the shop name summarizes it all. There is a chocolate shop in the front and a lovely cafe in the back. It is located conveniently close to the shopping streets and a great place to take an afternoon break or meet-up. They serve a wide range of coffees which taste good (though I am no coffee expert) and the drinks come with a little treat (either chocolate bon bons or mousse), which are delightful and tempt you to bring some home with you when you leave. Make sure to ask about the "patisserie van de dag", cake of the day. A slice of cake with a cup of coffee is the best way to relax or catch up with friends. I was here recently and saw that they offered chocolate letter making workshops, so that could also be a good activity to do. Price: 3/5 Basic coffee drinks range from 3-4 euros and fancier ones go up to 5,50 euros. A slice of cake is 5 euros. It is a bit on the expensive side but you do get chocolate with the drink so think of it as included in the price? And I would prefer a piece of chocolate over the usual cookie any day.

This place is special! It is listed as the number 3 best coffee shop in The Netherlands which makes me wonder what the other two are like... We visited with friends who live nearby. We ordered cappuccinos and the cake of the day which was a delicious white chocolate raspberry. We also ordered a sampler of chocolate pieces. Our cappuccinos arrived with the barista who proceeded to design with cream at our table. He was amazing! Our coffees included a small cup of chocolate mousse - yum! Everything was delicious and the service was professional and friendly.

We were a bit puzzled when we saw a new coffee and chocolate place opening soon in August... why not, both combine perfectly well :-) So now that it has opened we've been trying out the place quite a few times now ;-) Coffee: excellent, just like we like it. Strong but subtle flavors, in our opinion the best of the area. Chocolate: delicious, tasty, and refined. Nothing to add there. When they bring a coffee, they always add some chocolate with it, sometimes a chocolate mousse. It makes it the perfect coffee break :-) My two favorites: the espresso and the coffee chocolate. Simply delicious. As for the place itself: the decor is very nice. Lots of light, refined decoration, in the Passage. Quite a good choice for such a nice place.
