If you’re looking for a clean, social hostel with an amazing atmosphere and great location then look no further. Hopa Home was hands-down one of the best hostels I have stayed at during my travels in South America. The staff are all incredibly friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. They make you feel comfortable during your stay and will never hesitate to join in on jam sessions in the common room or patio. The ladies cleaning work tirelessly to ensure that the kitchen, common rooms, and bathrooms are all well maintained. They also provide an amazing homemade breakfast (freshly made bread and cake) which was one of my favourite parts during my stay. Thank you Hopa Home for such an awesome stay during my time in Bariloche. Una noche más!

Great hostel close to the city. Close to the lake with a beautiful new/somewhat retro studio apartment at the back which I stayed in. Parking for moto, gate can’t close so not entirely secure but you can park right up close to the studio, so it felt secure to me. Lovely staff, really good breakfast, great location, good wifi and a chilled, humble, friendly traveler atmosphere in the hostel. Highly recommend!

A good place to rest and meet new people. Really near to Main Street. If I get back here. I will stay in this hostel again.

Best host I’ve ever stayed at. Hands down. Clean, affordable and super friendly staff. If you’re looking for friends on a journey to Bariloche, here is the perfect place. There are guitars to play and I had more than a few jam sessions with strangers on my trip. The hostel somehow attracts the coolest and most generous people, so much was shared by even strangers. If you like silence, it’s probably not the place for you but if you’re social, this is the best option you can possibly find.

Hope home really does feel like a home. It's super cosy, very easy to make friends and the staff are super friendly and helpful and there's a puppy ☺️. A really good vibe! We went on multiple multi-day trips around Bariloche and they kept our bags for us and always enquired about how we got on! Breakfast is fabulous (especially the home made bread) and the showers are looovely. Something small is that the wifi isn't very fast. Overall one of my favourite hostels out of 10 months travelling South America.

Loved my stay. It has a homey, chilled vibe. The beds were comfortable and warm. The shower was strong and hot. The kitchen was very well equipped. The staff were very kind to go out of their way to help me plan my trip. Close to the water and short walk from the center.

The hostel contains a bar and a nicely organized common area to socialize. The staff, and specifically Emilio, the owner, are super nice and helpful. Every Sunday there is a non profit Asado dinner made by Emilio that was just great! The hostel was always clean and always had hot water for taking a shower, and the kitchen was great. Overall I we enjoyed every moment of our stay.
