⸻ Hopdoddy really impressed me! The Cadillac Wagyu Burger was incredible — rich, juicy, and full of flavor. I appreciate that they use grass-fed beef and pasteurized eggs — you can really taste the quality in every bite. I also tried the Mother Nature veggie burger, and it was fresh, hearty, and surprisingly satisfying. The sweet potato fries were perfectly crispy and just the right amount of sweet. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they care about both the food and the service. Highly recommend this spot if you’re into quality ingredients and great burgers!

First Timmer ...... I was really sold when I downloaded the App on a whim and realized I could add a fried egg to literally any item. Shoot, Doddy.....that's all you had to say. I went big for my first time with the Nacho Fries - add 🥓 & the Bacon Jam Double - add fried egg + swiss + extra pickles. NACHO FRIES 🍟 = absolute GAS, my friends! Excellent value for the portion size. BURGER 🍔 = 8 out of 10. It was good with exceptional composition, however...... I was disappointed with the Bacon Jam. It was reminiscent of teriyaki or hoisin sauce, and once I got to it, that was all I could taste. I will mention that I dig on both sauces so I was not offended. It just did not jive with the egg and swiss, lol. So, it's not a deal breaker, just a lesson learned. The absolute WIN 🏆 IMO was the packaging of my order. I ride a TEVERUN scooter everywhere I go in ATX without exception, and my Hopdoddy order traveled 13 miles in my backpack and arrived beautifully in perfect condition to my coffee table. That my friends is an accomplishment worthy of note.

Hopdoddy's is always excellent and has a very different take on what a normal hamburger would be. First, all the ingredients are fresh and excellent, and it's cooked to perfection. Overall very good...

At 2 pm ordered patty melt and truffle fries w bottle original coke classic. Food arrived fast, hot and fresh! Don’t usually dine at Anderson Mill location because typically go to South Congress in Austin. Very relaxing.

Mother's Day line, so I skipped it and sat at bar. The sushi grade thing tuna bowl on greens was perfect seared rare. Flavorful party in my mouth. I highly recommend and will return soon.

here's what you need to know before coming to this location there's a bunch of places here so it's shared parking so parking is 80% in the battle especially with dragon Slayer in the corner depending on when they're having events could pick up the whole parking lot and let alone the fact that you have next door a Vietnamese Indian and multiple other little fruity places Decatur they're different people's and territories and precision just down the walking distance The other hand this place is totally one of the best franchises I went first to run my location and I was even more impressed with this location they keep the place spotless and clean with plenty of tables plenty of paper towels at every table Nice cushion seats TVs everywhere playing sports and super fast Wi-Fi The customer support was absolutely phenomenal with a variety of people to make sure that accommodate the eb and flow of different people coming in and out putting in to go orders and pick up orders and eating in also plenty of options for handicap and then the restrooms as well commands and women's with spotless or plenty of options and stalls I got a freebie on the app to get a free shake how can they make a shake this darn good Nutella pretzel chocolate shake may very well be one of the best shakes I've ever had in my entire life I highly recommend it it's the ultimate dirty dessert to mess up your diet or just give you the calories and carbs to burn off tomorrow for your workout :) highly recommend this place as well for the variety of burger options that will fill you up along with Fry's options and of course brussel sprouts and let me again mention this something that a lot of people don't notice franchise is great for is their variety of Brussels sprouts which I highly recommend the Parmesan truffle brussel sprouts next time you're here to share with friends and family also plenty of beer and alcohol and options while watching your favorite sports game and also taking advantage of if you're on your healthier side your ginger homemade lemonade :) on the burger side of a huge fan of the Diablo if you're into hot and spicy and can even do gluten free and they're gluten-free bun hit the spot too

I have to give huge credit to the team at this place. They were one person down when I visited, but you would’ve never known it. The service was smooth, fast, and incredibly friendly. You could tell they were working hard, but they never let it show—everyone was still smiling, checking in, and making sure every customer felt welcome. The burgers were just as impressive. Juicy, full of flavor, and cooked perfectly. Even with a short staff, they kept everything running like clockwork without missing a beat. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service are this good, especially under pressure. Definitely coming back, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal with even better hospitality!

I don't understand how this place has the high reviews that it does. It was mediocre at best, if they had not messed up our food (no onion or mayo, slathered in mayo and onion). Cold to the table, the burgers seemed like reheated frozen patties. They were overcooked to dry well done. I know the suburban palate is a luke warm homogenous pap, but this is just giving up.

After being showered with Hopdoddy ads on YouTube for one of their burgers, decided to give it a try, realizing that one shared residency in a strip mall with the Dragons Lair Boardgame and Comic book store. Entering the premises for the first time, the bar tender kindly let us know that the line to order was at the back of the store (seating is in front) by the windows. I mean, it makes sense, but it's a little unclear that you just walk forward and then turn right. After staring at the menu for a while, we decided on the Cadillac Wagyu and Mother Nature. We were given a table number. It happened to be a corner window seat. The Cadillac Wagyu was nice and juicy. Mother Nature was drier, though that's likely due to the composition of the burger. Various ketchups were available on dispenser taps (near where you order). Also, a little odd was the fact that the kitchen or cashier messed up the Mother Nature order--a different burger had been entered instead, leading to a slight bit of confusion. Otherwise, metal trays and paper towels did their job with keeping everything clean. Would I come back to Hopdoddy's again? Perhaps. But I don't eat burgers that often, so I might only try it again after I've long forgotten about it, until they air another ad on YouTube reminding me of them.

If you're thinking about getting the wagyu Cadillac burger.... Yes. Do it. You won't regret it. Also all of the burger options are great! The shakes are on the sweeter side, but still really yummy. The service was quick! I'd go back.

Killer burgers. Had some of the best burgers ever in this place. The daytime bartender was hilarious and charming and worth the visit even if you didn't eat the great food. Ice cold beer served in chilled mugs, college football on the televisions, and delicious food. Can't beat this place. A definite stop for lunch when in Austin.

Plenty of differing opinions on this location so I'll just say that overall, the burger experience here is pretty darn good. I appreciate that I can order a burger in a lettuce wrap (eating carnivore right now) and not be forced to eat around the bun that I'm going to toss anyway. Love the Cadillac Burger but want to try more of the menu. What didn't work for me is something that should be blatantly obvious to management. When you walk in, there are all kinds of signs but none of them explain what to do, i.e. how to get seated and place an order. Lots of workers running around here on a Saturday afternoon but they didn't have a greeter at the door. The QR codes at the tables don't take you to a menu, but to a customer service opinion app instead. I finally got on my phone and went to the Hopdoddy web site and located the online ordering page so I could place an order. After that it all went swimmingly but this is really a poor way to treat customers. The food is good however so it will still get a Recommended from me.

The service was horrible. I walked in and I sat at a table while a Hopdoddy worker watched me do this. I was sitting at the table waiting (about 10 mins) for my wife's family to come in with my sister in-law who is in a wheelchair. As soon as they walked, one of the hopdoddy employees said that we would have to order before being seated and that once we ordered they would find a table for us. We explained that my sister in law is in a wheelchair, and before we could even finish explaining he cut us off and said "I see that, she can wait by the door". He was extremely rude and did not seem to want to even try to understand our situation. This store does not have many low tops meaning there was a chance that they would not be able to accommodate us and we didn't want to take the chance of getting a hightop. If you are going to have assigned seats then have a host stand or hire employees who hear and understand that someone in a wheelchair cannot be seated at a hightop. We never had this problem at any other Hopdoddy location.

After a lift session with my friend on a Saturday afternoon we decided to grab a burger here. I haven't been to this location before but will say that the parking lot can be challenging at times to find a parking spot. My friend and I sat at the bar. They had $5 margaritas that day and whoa they were actually quite strong and did the job. I ordered the el Diablo burger bowl without cheese. My order was gluten and dairy free. My burger bowl was good but the burger was slightly overcooked. Our servicer/bartender was nice and attentive which was appreciated. Overall a good experience

A yummy spot for burgers, truffle fries (my favorite), a beer, and now Brussels sprouts! I sat at the table while my husband ordered or I would ordered the new Brussel sprouts. Will be trying these the next time we go! My go to is the good night good cause and the parmesan truffle fries. The fries are a good size but since they are my favorite we always get 2. Service is friendly and helpful especially when you need more truffle aioli. Which I always do! The environment is dimly lit so may be hard for those who want better lighting.

Heaven. Everything about this burger is heaven. Fries are just as good. The vibe of this place is casual but you can also have date night here. By far one of the best burgers in Austin. Con: very pricey but you're definitely getting your money's worth.

Going to Hopdoddy, weekday or weekend, used to be an ordeal. The burger chain had a (deserved!) reputation in Austin that kept it crowded nearly all the time. In the past few years, however, new locations seem to have distributed the demand so that eating at Hopdoddy is less of a headache. Still, the Anderson location stays reasonably busy. In the past few months I've been going to here on occasion with a couple friends in the neighborhood. The quality of the food is always excellent, and it's also a great spot to grab a drink. Happy hour is a good time, but look out - the pours here are quite strong (I can't recall a time a single drink took me out like a Big Larry did. I'm not complaining though). I'm not much of a rewards guy but Hop Doddy has some really nice deals in their app that make it worth the trouble to me (free sides)! If you are smart about it you can eat here for not too much more than your average fast casual restaurant.

Their ordering system is a mess. Tried placing an online order, which REQUIRES setting up an account. Then the log in link they send goes to a dead webpage. When you call directly, they have an AI response which only sends more dead emails! And won't take a phone order. I shouldn't have to work this hard to buy your food.

Service was great and friendly! Fries were good. The burgers themselves were not. Mostly the issue was we alt felt they were kind of chewy, even at different levels of cooked. I know hopdoddy has a reputation as a great Austin joint but I wasn't impressed.

I would come back again just for the poblano burger. Lots of flavor and the burger was cooked just right. I made a complete mess of my hands and that is a complement to the chef. The accompanying fries were good but not the best I have ever had. I finished with a pretty good thick mint shake. I did not indulge but did notice probably 6-8 beers on tap. We chose to sit outside to avoid waiting for a table inside. Be prepared to wait to order though, as the line goes out the door and down the side of the building. Kudos to Hopdoddy as they do arrange space heaters along the line when its cold. And yes, Hopdoddy is dog-friendly and will bring water and possibly treats to your puppers.

There's almost 2000 reviews of this place, but I noticed not a lot of photos. So I thought I would include a lot of photos for greater insight. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside with each table equipped with a roll of paper towels. If you need to watch sports, they have four flat screens. There is a full bar that features frozen margaritas, mixed drinks and a good selection of local craft beers. Their menu has a number of different burger options, but I just ordered the basic double cheeseburger without the fancy extras. The wife had the black bean veggie burger and it is definitely one of the best you'll find. The shoestring fries were decent and you have your choice of ketcups. However, I thought the 12 ounce shake for $6.25 was overpriced and it melted into chocolate milk in a matter of minutes. And like most businesses these days, the familiar tip screen will pop up on you starting at 18% or use the tip jar.

Even with a comment in my online order "no pink", the kids burger has been pink throughout the last 2 times I have ordered it. My daughters was pink throughout as well. Just a heads up, do not order the kids burger if you want your burger cooked through. The regular burgers were no pink as specified and the fries, queso were delicious. We don't go here often so I always forget, don't order the kids burger even if you say "no pink".

My boyfriend and I visit Hopdoddy at least once a month and it's a great experience every time! The last time we went I ordered their Wagyu Cadillac and he ordered the GF Classic and we shared some classic fries. He had some dietary restrictions and the cashier was very accommodating and understood what he needed. We went on a busy Friday night, but the table assignment lady gave us a seat with no wait and the food came out promptly! A delicious treat after a long week!

I REALLLLYYY really want to love HopDoddy but I feel like they've been slipping the last couple of years. This could very well be a result of just ordering out and not eating at the restaurant, so this review does not reflect service and atmosphere. My only complaints are the lack of toppings I received vs what looks advertised in photos (I have gotten the magic shroom and llano poblano) and almost lack of salt!? I think? I honestly can't put my finger on it, but it's ALMOST there. I won't give up on them though because the first year I moved to Austin I had them pretty frequently and was always satisfied. Will order again and resubmit with new photos for comparison.

Every item I go to HopDoddy I more than enjoy myself the food is excellent because I know that it is made very well specifically the cooking of the meat is always superb I don't love the cost however and wish they didn't up charge or cheese and up charge for meat substitutions like chicken for beef. The drinks and fries are incredible

This is my favorite burger place, albeit a bit pricey. They offer a fantastic selection of burgers in a pleasant ambiance. The food is consistently delicious, and their truffle fries are a must-try. I'd give it five stars if it weren't for the slightly higher prices.

Still one of my favorite burger places in Austin. Love their juicy burgers and sweet potato fries. Parking is pretty easy here, it's a shopping center. So that's always a plus. Wait staff is pretty friendly. And food comes out in a timely fashion. Great meal!

At face value for the current food scene in comparison with other similar restaurants, the burger is solid. I wasn't a huge fan of the fries in terms of the actual fry texture but the toppings and flavor were good and they had a lot of different ketchups and mustard to get a side of to dip your food. The staff were also nice and helpful and the tables were clean and dim lighting. My only critique as someone that loves sauce is that even for me, the sauce was a little too heavy on the ahi tuna burger so I would suggest getting the sauce on the side instead like the wasabi based one. The burger toppings isn't the same as I remember it used to be with butter lettuce. Hopdoddy was where I tried burgers with butter leaf lettuce and had my first ahi tuna burger so it's kind of disappointing that it's changed now. The soda machine fountain also doesn't have the same sodas as before. I do like how they offer options to make the toppings into a salad/bowl.

If you're looking for something nicer than fast food, but not crazy overpriced, this is your spot! They offer weekday happy hour deals ($5 margaritas and large fries) and have a burger of the month that changes out, so be sure to check in every once and a while for something new. I love their Double Bacon Jam burger as well as their Magic Shroom - these are my go-to orders! For fries, the garlic parmesan are great and if you like sweet potatoes, the hot honey and sage sweet potato fries are the best! If you're extra hungry, order one of their thick milkshakes to go with your burger and fries - a perfect meal. Overall, we love visiting Hopdoddy every once in a while for a nicer, tastier burger and some great fries.

A unique burger bar chain in Texas. Let's start with the good stuff. The ahi tuna is my go to as I am a sucker for fresh raw fish and how unique a burger like this is that I can't get anywhere else. I like the taste of my burger, and having a bite of my boyfriend's burger, the truffle mac burger. They were both delicious. Wish some of the monthly burgers were permanently on the menu. It is helpful to have the app rewards and it's nice to have when you sign up because you get rewarded with free fries after your first purchase. Staff was great in terms of understanding my needs for my burger and delivered our food promptly. The wake and bake fries were very interesting and tasty. It was like nacho fries that you would hastily make at 2 am because it was the easiest thing to make in the house. The atmosphere was chill and not too loud at all. Nearby friendly customers struck up a conversation about my doll and asking what anime she was. The lighting is a little dark, but didn't prevent me from seeing where my food was on the table, ha. So, into the "ehh" stuff. I have been living in Texas for 8 years and noticed the quality shifting for cost cutting measures, especially after the pandemic hit. The cost of food is going up and the quality is going down. They replaced their Maine Root fountain sodas with generic fast food sodas: Coco-Cola, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, etc. I used to buy fountain sodas, but after seeing this change I won't any longer. The ahi tuna burger teriyaki sauce is WAY too salty; I had to ask to reduce the sauce which I've never done until recently. I also have noticed they switched to using iceberg lettuce (commonly used in fast food) which is questionable especially considering how much these burgers cost. There is a drop in quality but it is not the fault of the staff. I will probably return soon, but the local chain has definitely changed.

Love this restaurant chain. Sourcing from and supporting regenerative farms!! Cutting big Pharma out where possible. And they have the cleanest fried food anywhere! Their frying process is very advanced, cutting the amount of oil but not the flavor. Healthiest way to eat fries, Brussel sprouts and the like. I love restaurants that have healthy, tasty vegan and carnivore options. This satisfies everyone in our family. Love 'em!

I went here for lunch today with my coworker and had a good time. The fries here are a must!! The only thing is that they are pretty expensive for a single order. The parmesan truffle fries are very tasty and a solid choice. The hot honey fries are a tangy twist if you prefer sweet potato fries. The honey glaze is very nice. I just have a hard time convincing myself that paying 8 dollars for fries is worth it. The nice thing here is that you can substitute the beef patties for chicken patties. They did charge me a dollar extra for that though. The burger tasted great! It was bursting with flavor and spicy and the ingredients were definitely fresh.

Sat at the bar because they advertised on Instagram if you ate at the bar everything was half off. Got bill-was NOT! Questioned and was told only certain hours. Even after we confirmed with 1 server it WAS half off. Manager not present. Waited 17 minutes for bartender to come check out 7 parties! Horrible. Bait and switch!

Went for lunch today. We arrived just before 1pm. No lines no problem. The staff was friendly and professional. The order taker was very helpful. We ordered a couple of burgers and a shared order of fries. The fries could have fed 4 people easy. Way to much for two people IMO. The burgers were good but I asked for Mayo only and I did not get it. My wife loved hers. I just thought mind was missing a little flavor. It was very good just not great. Still recommend this chain but could have been a five with just a few things.

Absolutely get the truffle fries and LLANO POBLANO Burger: Pepper jack cheese, steakhouse bacon, seared poblanos, chipotle aioli, lettuce, tomato & onion. Everything about this burger was really good. It was huge. 1. You can see every layer of the burger. 2. The buns weren't soggy at all. They held their shape after every bite. 3. The patty was overflowing with juiciness and cheesiness. 4. I'm usually not a fan of peppers, but the poblanos were delicious. I wanted more. 5. I enjoyed the sauces, especially the caffeinated BBQ!

Not worth the $40. First rule of meal presentation: make sure meal looks appealing...appetizing.. Hopdoddy failed. Ordered ahi tuna on house salad. The ground tuna patty didn't look appealing at all. I had misgivings when I read that the patty was ground, but I threw caution to the wind. It was tossed on a bed of I don't know what, because the "greens" were so shredded that I couldn't identify it. I thought I recognized slivers of cabbage- which my stomach can't process very well, so I had to nix eating it. The "bed of greens" didn't look green at all. Rather, it looked pale and sad... very... I thought the greens were going to be lettuce or a spring mix with arugula or spinach or something that wasn't cruciferous... I was at a work function and couldn't risk getting bloated from eating all that... not good... We also ordered the large fries- overcooked and hard. tasted like day old potatoes that were refried.. pretty disappointing.. My wife ordered one of the burgers...it was so underwhelming that she can't remember the name, but it had a fried egg and caramelized onion.. I tasted it...too dry... way under-seasoned and something tasted too sweet - not sure if it was the onion or an added sauce. We will not go back.

HopDoddy has lost its luster. The meat was wonderful. The meat was specific to the burger but no longer. Now I am forced to upgrade to the regenerative meat ( and it comes in quarter pound patties). I get that prices have gone up but this menu is NOT what it once was. Truffle fries are still, thankfully, on the menu.

Hopdoddy is great! We ordered the Mushroom burger and were thrilled with their service. Super fast and easy to order. The team members behind the counter was so friendly as well. Awesome place that I plan on coming back to.

I gave Hopdoddy a try for the first time last week and I'm super upset that I haven't been eating their burgers already! I dug into my burger and finished it so quickly, there was no time for a photo lol! The double bacon jam burger is what I chose...literally one of the top 5 I've ever had, and well worth the price. Something you absolutely have to order is the parmesan truffle fries, one basket is enough for two people and every single fry is cooked and seasoned perfectly. I'm not sure what the sauce served with the fries is, but I know I wanted a lot more of it. What makes this burger spot so great is the bar which serves a really good variety of alcohol. My frozen margarita was mixed well and certainly had the right amount of alcohol in it. The atmosphere and staff are super chill and welcoming, definitely a nice lunch spot!

Hopdoddy is good, I've never had a problem with the food but it's not my favorite burger place. I think they have a good selection of food and drinks. They have shakes, the strawberry was just ok, too syrupy tasting. The fries are good. Service is friendly.

First time trying Hopdoddy! Not too bad. Went there on a Thursday afternoon around 4:00pm. There wasn't a large crowd of people at all and the service was very quick! The place is very chill and has a bar off to the left. That's a nice touch for a burger spot I ordered the Llano Poblano and it was juicy for sure! The meat lacked flavor but I didn't mind that as much. It had a little spice from the poblano pepper but nothing crazy The real star was the Parmesan truffle fries! I'm not really a huge potato lover but I most of the large shareable bowl of fries they brought out! They weren't fried very hard but I think that's part of what made them so delicious. Lastly, I ordered a frozen strawberry margarita! Their drinks aren't watered down! I opted for the smallest size they had which was a very good size. I probably wouldn't have been able to drive home if I had ordered their goblet size. Simply put, you won't be disappointed with their margarita. As far as parking, no worries! There is plenty of parking at the Anderson Lane location.

Let's start with the good - the burger I had was fantastic, and so were the fries I had with Chipotle ketchup. The downsides were that a) the burger was a little messy to eat (they give you the knife for a reason!) b) the burger was smaller than I anticipated and c) the price tag. Good burgers, but quite pricey.

Such a great burger spot. Great food, beer/margaritas at the bar, and decent prices. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is easy and accessible. You order at the front and they bring your food to the table, great service overall. Our total was $35 for two burgers and fries, and our food came in about 10 mins. Highly recommend the truffle mac burger and the parmesan fries (shareable size)! 10/10 recommend. One of the best burgers I've had in long time!

The girl at the register was fantastic. She saved my whole experience. The guy with glasses and EarPods in was not pleasant. He seems like he hates his job. Didn't smile much. Food was okay. But for what you pay you should expect great customer service. I'm. It thrilled with my experience.

The burgers were "run down your chin" delicious. They deserve a more than once visit so that you will have a chance to try the different offerings. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, especially to "newbies". There's a protocol, that once initiated, is obvious. It's laid back and comfortable regardless of the season. Oh, did I mention that they have outdoor seating! You can get carry-out by your preferred method, but in-house is easy seating, and imagine this, you can have comfortable conversions.

Way too good...yummmmmm...I got my burger in a "bowl" to avoid the bun calories so that I could eat more sweet potato fries and drink more margs. Follow me for more life hacks. Haha I don't usually drink frozen drinks, but these margs are just so good. The burgers and fries are fantastic. The kids were happy with their meals, as well.

My fave burger!! Best in the universe. Let me explain... 1. They ask how you want it cooked! Like your mom used to do. 2. The meat Pattie is thick and juicy. 3. They have delicious gluten free buns which I have to eat. AND the hot male server's buns are gorgeous. 4. They have regular fries, sweet potato fries, fries with cheese on them, fries that dance on your plate! 5. They typically have available tables during the week. 6. They have booze!!! The Margarita is fabulous!!! Beer and wine are also available. 7. Always parking for you. 8. Service with a smile. 9. Go early!!! 10. Stay late!!!

It's well established that Hopdoddy has amazing burgers but they now offer a Nashville chicken sandwich. It's spicy but they were able to leave out the sauce upon request. My expectations were low since they are primarily known for their burgers. Let me tell ya, this chicken was hands down one of the juiciest chicken I've ever had! My nephew had the chicken tenders and it was also delicious.

I got the thunderbird which was so yummy, as well as their prime time burger- which actually tasted like truffle and the blend with the onions was so good. The fries are so crispy here and cooked to perfection. The food also came out super fast!

I ordered take out and it was amazing!! I had a burger and chicken strips... both were amazing!! Best part is that they deliver margaritas :)
