We were pleasantly surprised by our stay. The room was freshly renovated and the beds were comfortable. There was no air‑con, but a fan was provided. The room included a fridge, toaster, kettle and utensils. The location was excellent, right in town and close to the entrance of Fitzgerald National Park. A deposit of 150 dollars is required for the room, and check‑in is only possible between 3 pm and 6 pm.

I stayed at the motel for three nights and found it comfortable, clean and had everything I needed for my stay. While motels seem to be considered by some as an outdated form of accommodation, if they maintain the standards similar to the Hopetoun Motel there is no reason why they can't remain a viable option for short stays for a long time to come.

The room was adequate. Everything was pretty clean, the bed was quite good and the linen was in good condition. The oil radiator heater was effective for heating the room.
The motel is well located to town and the front beach.

A pleasant surprise. Large enough and very clean. Only issue is that while they supply a microwave etc, no plates or bowls are provided. Difficult to eat what you cook.

Bad experience. Room filled with spiders and bugs on the bed. Very dusty and dirty could not even sleep properly. Was expecting a better stay because of the review I saw on Google. :)

I would say stay somewhere else if you possibly can. I would have raised any specific concerns I had whilst staying there because it allows the owner to put things right or at least be aware that there's a problem.|Our chalet didn't bear a close look into the corners or around the windows, I know turn around times make a deep clean difficult but it needed it. I considered it to be in need of a thorough refurbishment to bring it up to a acceptable standard.|Wouldn't go again.

The room is absolutely basic but very clean, fresh and exactly what we needed. The bed is a bit hard and springy (hence the 4 stars) but other than that, it was great! Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a short walk to the a pub, iga, park, beach (where a good coffee van was located, Salty Sips). Would def come back.

beautiful but we will have to remember to ask for a room with a clear path from the car to the room for the wheelchair. We were allocated a room with a huge grouping of plants and bushes in front of it so not easy access
