On the Grid : Hopewell Centre elevator

"Once the tallest tower in Asia, this Wan Chai landmark still offers an incredible view of the city, even in the shadow of much taller buildings. Hop onto the elevator from the 17th floor, and take the express lift to the 62nd floor. You can choose to eat in the revolving restaurant at the top (if you're the type of person who thinks eating in a revolving restaurant is a good decision), but a better idea is to just enjoy the free ride in the glass lift. Have your camera ready, and don't be ashamed of going up and down a couple of times." - Isabel Foo

We visited mainly for the free elevator experience, which was a cool thing to check off the list. Aside from that, there wasn’t much that stood out to us. The building has several restaurants, but overall, nothing particularly unique caught our attention during our visit.

I went to HopeWell Center with my kid in the KEDZTOPIA indoor playground in 6th floor. It's the best so far ❤️😍

Go here to get amazing views for free. Ride elevator to 17th fl I think since I am rewriting about this few weeks later. Then transfer elevators to get you to the Grand Buffet. You do not need to have reservations or even eat at the Grand buffet to ride the elevator for these amazing views. Go at night when it's dark to see all the lights go on all around you.

**The Iconic Landmark** 🏙️✨ Once the tallest building in Hong Kong’s grand view, Now expanded with a hotel, a sight to pursue! 🏨🌆 Opposite a shopping street, vibrant and neat, Where treasures await, just down the street! 🛍️💖 Within a 3-minute walk from Wanchai MTR, Exit D leads you, it’s never too far! 🚉👣 With exits on Queens Road East and Kennedy too, At mid-levels, the journey is waiting for you! 🌟🗺️ AJ has a thought, a wish to express, Provide clearer directions to new annex, make it the best! 🗺️✨

Many chargers. But Parking route is like Neverending turning. $34 per hour, pretty expensive comparing other parts of Hong Kong Island. Advantages are many chargers and no need line up. Located in wan chai, entrance is a bit tricky…so look carefully when coming in this lot.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a balcony where I could get some fresh air, so my information must be out of date. And there was no bookstore either. Apparently the main attraction was the elevator to the restaurant. Next time I’m going to the restaurant with a clear glass elevator. I’m looking forward to seeing HK view and diner!我愛合和中心

escalators to buffet have nice view. The new mall is quite stuffy as if not enough air con though

A skyscraper that has a glass elevator with a view of Hong Kong and you can ride it for free as many times as you'd like.
