This motel looks old and rundown from the outside but our room was clean, comfortable and refurbished. The pool looked clean as well but we didn't use it. This motel is the closest to the entrance to Hopewell Cape Rocks - almost right beside it. The continental breakfast was very basic but good enough for us. There were boiled eggs, yoghurt, muffins, cereal, coffee, tea, etc. I would recommend staying here for a visit to Hopewell Rocks.

Charming little motel that's at a prime location near the Hopewell Rocks. Talk to the office staff for incredibly useful tips on tide levels to best enjoy Hopewell Rocks. Staff was overall very nice and informative, no issues at all checking in and out. Cleanliness of the room could leave a bit more to be desired, but for the location and price, you can't really ask for more! Would definitely stay here again!

We had an excellent stay! The place was spotless—coming from someone who runs a cleaning business, I was very impressed with the level of cleanliness. The location truly can’t be beat, and the staff were absolutely terrific—friendly, helpful, and welcoming. For a motel and country inn, it is absolutely exceptional for what you get. Breakfast with a view of the water was such a treat, and honestly, it’s not something you usually get included at this type of property—they really went above and beyond. Honestly, I was shocked to see some people leave poor reviews—our experience was the complete opposite. What you see in the photos is exactly what you get: clean, comfortable, and inviting. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hopewell Rocks!

Great section and comfy beds. Lots of towels and very clean. The huge problem, the room we have is right by the front office and door. We were not told anything about the house level/problem. We arrive beat and want to sleep early to rise early for our trip. The front door does not shut completely, so, when people come and go it’s a slam, due to this problem that could be easily remedied. But we attempt to sleep at 9pm and it seems like from there until after midnight people are in and out. They get to the office and it seems like screaming, it’s so loud. The guests, of this room, should be warned and given a major discount in price. There is absolutely NO soundproofing in this building. Every move and voice is heard loudly. If this place was fully booked, I could see sticking someone in this room. But this place was empty when we arrived. We could have received any room. I would Not recommend this place. The other rooms overlooking the water looked nice but didn’t stay there.

Don't trust the photos presented for this hotel. The photos do not show the old sections. We booked in March for one night in August and were given room 11. We noticed that the bathtub drain is clogged. The showerhead faucet knob is malfunctioning. Adjusting the temperature is virtually impossible, which poses a risk of scalding. The electrical outlet in the bathroom is not a GFI type (see photos), so using a hair dryer is dangerous. New Brunswick regulations require GFI type installations in bathrooms to avoid any risk of electrocution. There is virtually no service at the adjacent restaurant. For the dinner, at first a server came to see us and we mentioned that we wanted a drink. After waiting at least 30 minutes without anyone bringing our drink or taking our order, we left the restaurant. The self-service lunch only includes, slices of bread and hard-boiled eggs. Not even tongs to take the slices of bread from the bag. Everyone goes with their hand in the bag to take the slices of bread. Very poor hygiene. As for the pool, the water was green. So, no swimming. I've traveled a lot for both work and tourism. In the United States, Canada, Europe, China and this room is among the top 3 worst I've had. The same goes for the restaurant!

This motel certainly seems like an excellent choice for those visiting the Howell Rocks, as the entrance to the park is practically visible from the property. We were very pleased with our stay in their spacious family suite. The views from our room were delightful, and we particularly enjoyed relaxing in the chairs on the deck.

Charming, rustic motel. Excellent location 2 minutes away from Hopewell Rocks. Our room was spacious and clean with 2 queen beds and a futon to accomodate our large family. We enjoyed our dinner at the adjacent restaurant where we ordered dumplings, sweet potato fries and a salad. We were thankful to have a continental breakfast included which had a variety of cereal, toast, juice, hard boiled eggs and muffins. The owners were lovely and made sure we had rooms next to our family members who were also staying there. Some elements were a bit dated, but we found it to be great for our family, and we are thankful to have found this accommodation for the 2 nights that we stayed here.

Yelp
Okay. This place is AMAZING! Super nice staff. Accommodations are awesome! Beds are super comfy. I thought this place was super awesome! Exactly what I was expecting and good vibe there too. Beautiful spot and perfectly situated to Hopewell rocks park. My first stop in the east cost - and while I was tired from getting there at 3:00 am, I had an amazing sleep, liked the room a lot (even on the next morning) and the owner was really nice. Breakfast included but was kind of crappy - but still appreciated. Coffee was good and it was a quick pick me up to start my journey through the east coast. I would return again and would definitely recommend staying here. Decent price, REALLY awesome staff/owner, good rooms, beautiful views and great location. Perfect. Thank you for the great night stay.
