Hopewell Rocks Motel & Country Inn

This an older motel with the benefit of being very close to Hopewell Rocks. The price perhaps a bit high but again, location! The place as a nice appeal, decently kept but a bit tired. Room was clean, sleep good, but a bit of musty smell. The view from the veranda is lovely (ocean). The "free" breakfast was decent but not as varied as some others. resturant dinner was decent. The dining room had some interesting artifacts and nice ambience. the owner was friendly. It was too cool to enjoy the outdoor pool but would be great on a sunny warm day. Would stay again if in area.

The room was clean with everything required. The staff were friendly & efficient. The dining room is lovely with great food choices. There's a gift shop & an antique room on site Beautiful views of the Bay of Fundy & minutes away from Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park. If you're looking for a great location while exploring this area, I recommend. The atmosphere is relaxed & yes it needs upgrades but for cleanliness & service it's 5 star

We had a very comfortable stay here. Loved watching the sunrise right from our window and back deck with Adirondack chairs. Enjoyed the free continental breakfast. Short drive to Hopewell Rocks.

Don't expect the Ritz but this was a perfect place to stay when visiting Hopewell rocks. Simple and clean place. I really liked the back porch of the rooms. The view was nice. I would stay here again if I am in the area.

This is the only time I left a hotel sure to the conditions. Could not stay there more than about 10 minutes. There was a weird smell when we walked into the room. My guess is to cover a mold smell since we discovered fairly quickly that a sizeable section of carpet was damp. Both myself and one of my children started to have irritated eyes after 5 minutes. We had booked a 'suite' that was to accommodate 10 but it only had 2 beds and a futon.

First off some positives : this is not as bad as some of the other reviews would suggest!|First, it is in a good location, right next to the entrance to Hopewell Rocks, so really convenient if the beach is only open for a short time early in the morning / late evening. There's a great view, and it's only a 40 minute drive to Alma / Fundy National Park, and there was a warm/helpful welcome at reception.|Secondly, although it's close to the main road, it's quiet and comfortable. The room was well equipped with a good TV, large fridge, coffee machine, the bed was clean and comfortable, and the heating was good (still needed this early in the season). There was also a small wooden table and chairs in the room, some plastic seating just outside and some picnic benches in the lawn area. |There is also a small pool and childrens play area (didnt use either so cant vouch for how good or bad they are)|On the less positive side, the bathroom at the back of the room is a bit strange: the shower took some getting used to but once you worked out that turning to cold made it hot and turning to hot made it cold, and managed to balance the temperature it was fine. The location of the toilet on an angle was odd, and it would be useful to have a shelf or something to put your toiletries.|The breakfast room is lovely, with some nice views over the Bay of Fundy, but the breakfast options were limited: toast, cereal, muffins and hard boiled eggs.|I stayed a couple of nights and it was fine : probably wouldn't want to stay longer, and this isn't for anyone expecting modern hotel luxury. It does feel a little dated.

Another review called it 'tired'. Not a bad description, but our room was freshly painted, etc, and quite nice, though simple. Restaurant nice, but continental breakfast underwhelmed. Loud footsteps above from normal walking was bad - really this was the only negative, but yeah, it was pretty loud. Suggest asking for a 2nd floor room to resolve. Pool looked crystal clean and nice. Nice and surprisingly large gift shop, if that's of interest.|I DO recommend this place for anyone looking for simple/modest accommodation at a reasonable price just a couple of 100 meters from the road to Hopewell Rocks.

Amazing! Super comfortable bed and sheets, quiet, and so close to the hopewell rocks. The owner was very friendly, kind, and accommodating:) would love to stay again one day .
