You pay for the view, not so much the food. Extremely mediocre with two exceptions: RIBEYE STEAK - 0/10 This isn't just mediocre, its horrible. Firstly, it looks more like a piece of picanha than a slice of ribeye. To add insult to injury, we ordered a medium and it was cooked well done. It was even burnt! Not charred, burnt. Additionally, there was no seasoning whatsoever. Guy next to us ordered it as well and neither of us wanted to finish it. The chef who prepared this should apologize to the cow! BRAISED PORK BELLY - 9/10 As soon as I walked into the restaurant and saw that big pot of stew, I knew that I had to try it. The whole restaurant smelled like it had been cooking all day and it definitely tasted like it too. Juicy and tender with some pleasant peanuty notes and the slightest kick from the chilis. Order a bowl of rice with this and you can't go wrong.

I liked the Sour Soup with Crispy Mangosteen the most. It was full of flavor and aroma, and pleasantly not spicy—I just wasn't fond of the green squash in the soup. The Grilled Sun-Dried Squid dish was lovely decorated and delicious. I especially appreciated that the seafood sauce was made the correct Thai way, not the blended green sauce that many restaurants use. The restaurant itself has an elegant and warm-toned atmosphere with high ceilings for indoor seating. It offers an exceptional view of Wat Arun and overlooks the Chao Phraya River with many boats sailing by.

I recently visited this restaurant with three friends and was so impressed, I had to share! 🏞️ Atmosphere & Vibe The atmosphere here is absolutely fantastic and incredibly relaxing thanks to its location right next to the Chao Phraya River. You get a breathtaking view of the Bangkok skyline, especially the iconic Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn), which lights up beautifully at night. If you come between late November and December, the experience is even better, as the weather is cool and perfectly chill. 🍜 The Must-Try Dishes (The "WOW" Factor!) Moving on to the food—there were two dishes that truly blew me away: Vermicelli Noodles: This dish was genuinely "WOW." The taste is unique and unlike any vermicelli I’ve had elsewhere. The flavors are perfectly balanced. Highly, highly recommend this! Horsamut Triple Zest Rice Salad: This seafood rice salad is another must-order. The combination of zesty flavors and fresh seafood is spot on. 🦀 Good, But Not Outstanding The Charcoal Smoked Pork and the Thai Steamed Fish Curry (Hor Mok) were quite standard—tasty enough, but similar to what you can find at most other Thai restaurants. ⭐ Final Verdict This spot is perfect for a chill evening, great photos, and soaking up the river view. The Vermicelli Noodles and Rice Salad alone make it well worth the visit.

Horsamut delivered an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The food was fantastic — well-executed, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared and enjoyable, making the meal memorable on its own. What truly elevated the experience was the view. Sitting by the river, we had a gorgeous outlook of Wat Arun opposite, beautifully lit up at night, with cruise boats gliding past on the river. The atmosphere was calm, romantic, and uniquely Bangkok — perfect for a relaxed evening meal. Great food paired with a stunning riverside setting makes Horsamut a place worth revisiting. Highly recommended for both the cuisine and the view.

Very good experience on the whole. But for me personally, I did not find it top bracket for it to justify the 4.2K price tag for a dinner for 2 (with no alcohol) . Special view and the service was prompt and pleasant. I just think it was good Thai food that you can get similar outside. Some of the fusion dishes were interesting and creative and that deserves applause. The view is the star of the show and I think the main attraction of Horsamut. Overall, it's worth a visit for sure but overpriced in my view

Please make a reservation in advance. If you choose outdoor seating, you will be required to order at least one bottle of alcohol, while there is no such requirement for indoor seating. Outdoor tables offer a beautiful view—especially of the sunset—but they are exposed to sudden rain, so be prepared. The indoor area has very strong air-conditioning, so if you get cold easily, remember to bring a jacket or wear long sleeves. Food: The seafood is very fresh and well-cooked. The appetizers were impressive. Service: Good.

Absolutely delicious dishes with fresh seafood, full of flavours! We recommend the green curry, calamari, giant crab fried rice to share, grilled squid and the fresh coconuts! The service was nice but around 10-10:30pm they start to hurry you to close. Prices are a bit higher than in other places but the view is amazing, it’s really worth it.
