"On Bermuda 's southwest coast lies one of the world’s most spectacular beaches. This horseshoe-shaped strand of pink sand is the island’s most photographed—and with good reason. (The blush hue of the sands comes from its cocktail of crushed coral, shells, and calcium carbonate.) It's set between translucent turquoise waters and limestone cliffs, which produces an effect that's enchanting. There is a lifeguard on duty and chair and snorkeling-gear rentals are available; there’s also a beachside café. A walking trail winds over the dunes to neighboring coves. Adjacent Baby Beach offers shallow waters ideal for snorkeling."

"Your Own "Private" Beach Bermuda’s most famous beach sits on the island’s south coast, in the parish of Southampton. In the summer, Horseshoe Bay is the number one destination for many visitors to Bermuda , drawn by the crescent of pink sand and clear blue water. In the winter, however, visiting the bay has a different appeal. Mike heads there most mornings to start his day with a walk along the sea accompanied by his dog, Harley. “While in the summer this is one of the island’s most popular beaches,” Mike says. “In winter, it’s all mine. There are a few joggers and maybe some paddle boarders but it’s a very quiet place. It’s like having your own private beach though one that’s massive and gorgeous.” Photo by Robyn Fleming, https://flic.kr/p/5WqJXz Sponsored by The Bermuda Tourism Authority"

Get here on a weekday in December (Dec 18) and almost have the place to yourself! Enjoyed a couple of hours here in this gorgeous setting! Go to the right side where there is a smaller beach and the water is warmer than the left side! And the setting is incredible! (See my last pic). There are bathrooms and places to wash sand off your feet. If you are in Bermuda for a while you may want to deconflict with cruise ship visits

Lovely beach although not very pink. Arrived from the cruise terminal via minibus, USD7 per person each way. Lots of sunbeds and umbrellas to rent but because there were two cruise ships in most were taken and a queue soon developed so, get there early. Very soft sand, lovely clear warm water. Decent changing facilities with showers. Highly recommended.

Beautiful beach with pink sand. More crowded than other beaches but definitely check it out. Great pics from above on the rocks. There is a foot path that guides you up.

Wow! Bermuda is one of my favorite vacation spots to go too! I’ve been there three times and every time I go I never want to leave. The people are friendly and the food is great! All the beaches I went to were crystal clear!

Best beach I’ve ever been to. Water is clear and there are definitely small fish near the shore for those who care like I do. Sand is super soft and pink.

When the sun finally came out it was so beautiful. The pink sand and the clear blue water just put me at ease. Everyone goes there and it gets crowded, go there even if it's cloudy and raining lightly. The sun will always come out!

Get there early! Whether you're in Bermuda staying at a resort or if you're in by way of a cruise, you need to plan to get to Horseshoe Bay early. We (two adults and a baby) traveled by bus from the dockyard, which was easy, but be warned the bus stops are a 10-15 minute walk up a stepped platform from the beach entrance. If you go by way of taxi or a private shuttle, there is a parking lot right next to the entrance. Access to the beach is free, but they have a private company that provides rentals for chairs and umbrellas. We arrived around 9:00 AM and we're probably 4th in line for rentals. Most of the people already on the beach were locals. The staff here were friendly (everyone in Bermuda is friendly, I don't know how) but were also very accommodating. We were just going to get one chair and an umbrella, but the staff member suggested that we get chairs in the cove area, at this time of day they were largely in shade so for the same price of a chair and umbrella, we just got two chairs and it was perfect. By 10 AM, chairs were filling up and people were coming in droves. The beach is beautiful and absolutely worth the visit and there is a bar located near the entrance. There is also a public bathroom where you can change or rinse off. A must-do experience.

It’s the most beautiful and clean beach that I’ve ever been to. We absolutely loved horseshoe bay. We were here on an excursion while on a cruise. It had bathrooms, a snack bar and so much beauty. The water was so warm in July, I didn’t want to leave. When you get there take a walk to the left on the beach away from the crowd.
