Located in the Museum of Comic Arts, a beautiful Horta designed one-time textile showroom, Brasserie Horta has high ambitions, but execution is not always consistent.
It's open from 10am to 6pm, so draws a big lunch crowd, and the daily special is a good deal, although they frequently runs out so get there early. The regular menu changes with the season (game in the fall), and the presentation is beautiful, but the dishes are sometimes over-salted. Being in the Comic Arts Museum, they of course have a kids menu, and the constantly changing Smurf placemats are kind of a fun touch.
Beers are from the Palm family of breweries (Palm, Rodenbach, Brugge Tripel, etc.), but they serve wine as well.
