Good quite hotel. It is most important for me. Poor breakfast. No coffee machine at breakfast room. But normally for Italy. Needed to make breakfast coffee at room. There is coffee machine. Thanks

Very nice aristocratic mansion in a romantic garden. The location is outside the city walls but within easy walking distance to the very center of town. Our room, which seems to have been the main central (honeymoon) room with a balcony to the front, was gigantic and decorated in a modern fashion with good taste and style. The only disadvantage was that the bed is located upstairs directly under the roof, so it got rather hot during the night (admittedly with record temperatures outside during the whole week). Our stay was only for one night so we couldn´t really use all the facilities and options. As we also had to leave early in the morning, we couldn´t try the full breakfast, which looked very nice on the neighbouring tables. All in all a very good value for money.

This hotel is incredibly good. The interior decoration is really clean and modern whilst also being comfortable and sympathetic to the age of the building. We really loved the location, easy to walk to the centre and to the city walls and having a room which opened out onto the garden with its fragrant aromas of honeysuckle was really special. Great service and breakfast too. Overall, a fantastic hotel in a fantastic little city.

I am from London and have stayed in most of the top hotels in Italy, but had not stayed in the boutique hotel Villa Horti della Fasanara in Ferrara before so I decided to try it. I stayed with my 9 years old son there on 9th – 17th of August 2017, but it still evokes sweet dreams of royalty. This hotel has the amenities of a luxury boutique hotel.Breathtakingly stunning with beautiful ceilings and beautiful decor. My room was very spacious every detail was astonishing from the bedspread to the cut crystal glasses. The waiting area with wifi and in the room too. || The hotel is magnificently located so you can walk to shop or take a wonderful run, which I did. Great location with easy access to main train station to Florence, Venice, Rome, Milan, Bologna, Lake Garada and sea side etc. The food was amazing and they really looked after the children - The breakfast was a pleasant surprise- wonderful!|| The service was incredible--everywhere. The all stuff were professional and stylish, exceptional service, and old world elegance of the entire property. It was exceptional and every possible detail and more was overseen and anticipated by an amazing team of staff who made me, my son and every guest feel especially welcome. What a credit to the management and staff that the quality of service has remained so high during our stay.||It was a wonderful trip and I will always be proud to say I stayed at the vila at least once in my lifetime.

We absolutely loved this place. The first sight of the house through the trees as you enter is pretty special. The house is simply gorgeous with its terracotta brickwork and flowers everywhere, The location was divine - just perfect. It felt like we were in the middle of the countryside but were less than 2 kms from the city centre and the house is situated within the old city walls. It was very peaceful & quiet throughout our stay. The only sounds we heard were the cicadas. ||||We also loved the access to free bikes - although we had a car we ended up using the bikes every day. I recommend cycling along the old city walls. The first access point is less than five mins from the hotel. ||||We also loved our room. It was huge and beautifully decorated in a slick modern style but was also very comfortable. We booked a Deluxe Suite so had a separate living room and bedroom - the bedroom and bathroom were upstairs on the mezzanine level. Everything was well maintained and spotlessly clean. ||||Elda, the manager, was very welcoming a great host. She is fiercely proud of the hotel and of Ferrara and made sure we were happy with our stay. As we were checking out i let her know that we'd had two beers from the mini bar and she told us they were on the house. A classy touch. ||||The only thing I wasn't impressed with was breakfast. I would've liked some fresh bread & a selection of real cheese, not the processed stuff in packets. But this is a small thing and I realise that breakfast is not such a big deal in Italy. The lady serving the breakfast was very sweet and friendly.

I totally agree with the previous person about this property. It is in a lovely situation 20 mins walk from town , quiet , beautiful and a good place to stay. We borrowed the bycs which is great fun. Room clean but the shower area really needs a good bleach and redo! Good breakfast absolutely fine. Typically Italian delicious. Fresh orange juice when asked.

We have just spent 3 nights in the King suite . On arrival the hotel does not fail to impress , the villa is beautiful set in huge gardens with lots of seating areas. The location is fantastic being within the city walls and about a 20 minute walk into the centre. Checkin was quick and efficient . Parking was private and secure and free.|The reception area is very smart but on entering the accommodation area of the hotel we were immediately struck by how tired the decor looked, it is white everywhere including the floors which unfortunately is not very practical for guests dragging cases and looked quite scruffy. Our room was a large suite with the bedroom on the mezzanine level it looked amazing at first but the bathroom is in the sitting room with the shower all clear glass so that you are actually on show as in a gold fish bowl even sitting on the toilet !!! A small screen is provided to give some privacy but doesn’t cover the whole glass area. I cannot imagine who designed this its awful. ||We had a lovely balcony overlooking the front of the hotel and the furniture was comfortable and modern . We arrived just as the weather turned very hot but unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working and the upstairs bedroom became very hot and there are no proper windows to open only a sky light with not nets, however after the first night we asked for a fan and they kindly provided one.||Breakfast was pretty average not that much choice apart from cakes and little fresh fruit .||This hotel could be fantastic and I would say is value for money but it needs a fresh coat of paint and better breakfast .

Truly an amazing place. One of the best we stayed during our 4 day tour to that part of Italy. The host was great and everyone really helpful. Located just outside of the city in a calm and peaceful place. Large garden. Spacious rooms, nice breakfast. Would go back to ferarra just to stay there.
