Horus Hotel Zamalek

Very conveniently in a lively neighborhood with a high walking score and good access. Staff are excellent, polite, friendly, helpful, and caring. The rooms are generally very good (I recommend the higher tier ones), the only matter is some of the guests not complying with no-smoking policy sometimes, which is not uncommon in Egypt anyway. The restaurant is very good, the servers are nice, the food is very good, and their breakfast is also complete and good. The room price is ok with the value that in total you recieve. I recommend this hotel mostly for solo travelers or a couple with no kids with an average budget.

I don’t often leave hotel reviews unless they are spectacular or very bad. This place is spectacular. One of the cleanest, most accommodating, well located, and amazing staff of anywhere I’ve ever stayed. Both the men at the front desk that have been helping me since I arrived have been just the nicest most efficient people. And the rooms are very large, spacious, lots of air and window, and clean! I will stay here every time I am in Cairo.

I arrived at Horus House Hotel in Zamalek late at night and found the reception staff present and very welcoming. The hotel is located in the heart of Zamalek, inside a residential building, on either the third or fourth floor (I’m not entirely sure). The hotel's design follows a classic French style, giving it a warm and cozy ambiance reminiscent of old French hotels seen in classic movies.||The place was clean and well-organized, and the service was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and courteous, which added to the overall experience. However, I would suggest updating some aspects of the hotel, such as incorporating modern fragrance diffusers, as they would enhance the atmosphere and make the stay even more enjoyable. Additionally, installing bidets in the bathrooms would be a valuable improvement, as it is a practical feature that caters to the comfort and preferences of guests from different cultures.

Old fashion hotel. You feel like you travel on time machine. Rooms with numbers 100 renew. All others I dated. Be prepared there is smoking areas inside. But hotel workers was so nice. The prices really cheap. And location is perfect. You are in the middle of Zamalek. Down the street a lot of restaurants. Don't afraid to try shawarma. And metro station 5 minutes away. Ready to come again

Lovely hotel with British / French style. Well organized and clean room and facilities except for the bathtub seems a bit unclean. But in general it’s a great room and fair value for the money spent. Location is also quite convenient. I enjoy my stay there.||If they want to improve or attract more guests, perhaps the reception and manager can be more welcoming or friendly. But that didn’t bother me too much.

My experience here has been more than positive. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and attentive. The position of the hotel is a big plus : it is close enough to the city centre but it is situated in a nice quiet street in Zamalek. The rates are good and you definitely get value for your money. I highly recommend it 👌.

Simple small hotel with excellent service in reception and also by restaurant. We had a superior room which was very nice, clean and modern. Air conditioning made temperature perfect even in very hot days. Location is good, not far from Nile and city center. Good place to stay for its price. I loved that there was a book-shelf also in lobby with some good books to read.

The hotel is situated in a building in a quiet street of Zamalek, on the 4th floor. It is very well maintained, rooms are very clean. There is beautiful terrace available for guests, with a calming view. ||Great location and the most important, host is really friendly, helpful and professional.||Special thanks to Mr Michael and his colleagues.||||It was a very pleasant stay and we highly recommend it!
