Had a lovely night dining here the other night! Their curated menu for the night was impeccable and beautifully presented. Will definitely be returning again one day!

NOV2024: totally a hidden gem, discovered by sheer luck; an Italian informal restaurant where simplicity still means amazing tastes; must try their pepper pasta and amazing bread, the Niçoise salad was superb also. Highly recommend.

I had a great time at Hos Fischer! The starters, especially the tzatziki, beef tartar and mozzarella with pesto were amazing. However, the mains were a bit too salty and lacked sauce. The desert was simple and tasty, I loved it. Overall, it was a good experience, and I would recommend it.

My family and I had a wonderful evening here. The food was fantastic. The food was the closest to real Italian food that I have had since I visited my Italian friends and ate at their parents' house in 🇮🇹 . David is a very kind and generous host and the staff were very friendly. Definitely one to visit again.

This place is located next to a bus stop and a city bike stand so it's well connected. It was a little hard to find since the name didn't jump out from anywhere but we noticed the small sign above the door and went in. We had to wait a few minutes for things to be ready. Our waitress was extremely friendly, warm, funny, and down-to-earth. She brought us the wines to go with our dinner and her recommendations were excellent and opinions on the wine were spot on. The dinner was a 5 course set menu. It changes daily I believe so you can't always be sure what you'll get. Tonight's menu was heavy on the fish/seafood and I'm not a fan, so already it missed the mark with me. My partner enjoyed it though and the presentation was excellent. The wine was ace and that saved the day for me. That and the excellent service. If I could have changed/added anything, it would have been an antipasto/charcuterie course, maybe instead of one of the fish dishes. Whether you are in to your fine dining or not, I think you'll have a good time Hos Fischer.

Homemade Pasta, sauces that have slowly been simmering all day, dessert that will give you a perfect ending to a great meal Fischer pulls out all the stops. Casual atmosphere with atentive and very friendly service. This places feels like that spot where everybody knows your name. Don't be fooled they know exactly what makes a great meal and wonderful night out. Wines are carefully selected as is the produce. Menu changes with the season.

Best pasta in 4 years in Denmark. Had the set menu with antipasti, pasta and tiramisu.. ravioli stuffed with stewed onion was heaven. Cozy atmosphere on a rainy night, with a fantastic 80s pop playlist! On a lovely square so would be nice to come back on a warm day..

Popular local Italian restaurant with a limited menu. The food is good, especially the mozzarella and prosciutto was fantastic. The main course pasta was a little on the salty side, at least for our taste. Overall a nice meal in a good casual atmosphere. Service was very good.

Yelp
Great atmosphere in a wonderful location: salty food. This was my first meal in Copenhagen and made me scared for what was to come. Everything surrounding the food was excellent: the host was very friendly and even translated the whole menu into English as their menu was only in Danish, the space was warm and cozy-complete with a jukebox machine, and there was a lot of space so you don't feel crowded. However, the food was heavy on the salts. The sausage was salty, the eggs were salty, the pasta was salty....need I go on ? I had to down an extra couple glasses of water to complete the meal, but after traveling for 18 hours I wasn't going to wait and send it back or find a new place to eat. For the price of the meal, I can't recommend it.

Yelp
I think Tom Wolfe said it best: you can never go back. Went here again, also for a birthday, a small party this time, two adults and a toddler. Let's start with the fact that they don't have a nursing station, quite a rarity in child-friendly Copenhagen. They have ample room for it in their bathrooms, but they just don't have it. The children's menu is as boring as it gets, two dishes only, one with a tasteless tomato sauce, one with a bland white sauce. No drinks suitable for children (only alcohol and sodas). No children's seats. Who has a children's menu, but no children's seats, for cryin' out loud?!?! Food was OK, but not as good as last time, and service was so-so. Oh well, at least I'll have the memories.

Yelp
Expectations were high this evening indeed. I had decided to throw a surprise birthday dinner here for my boyfriend and after emailing back and forth with the owner a table was set and a cake ordered. The restaurant is very cosy, situated in a small square and you get a "homy" feeling inside. We got a long table in the back of the establishment. The waitress was a little confused, but I believe she was new and she did a really good job waiting on us. We all had starters, most of us the mozarella with prosciutto and both the cheese and ham tasted really good but I was perplex upon the way it was served..a whole uncut "lump" of mozarella with slices of ham covering it..no tomoato, basil or olive oil to "crack" the presentation so to say.. For main course, I went for the canneloni with spinach and veal. I was dissappointed. I had 3-4 small pieces of meat in the cannelloni and this happened also to others in the company..the flavour was not something special as well..sadly, I so wanted it to be!!! The cake i have ordered was home made almond/white chocolate mousse cake and was very good. I am very happy and pleased on the way they took care of the "celebration" although they could have put the effort of putting a candle or two in the cake.. I really want to give this place more stars because they are so nice and have a lovelt little place but the fopd did not cut it..

Yelp
A bit secret and way underrated. Brilliant pasta and quite good service! I really like the bucket of eyeglasses at the front.

Yelp
This is a very small, quaint neighborhood restaurant with reasonably good and attentive service. Otherwise, if we were just rating the food, this would be a two star restaurant at best. We had the tasteless blob of mozzarella and sliced prosciutto, which was so cold that it was barely edible. Then we had the best dish, which was a tasty soup of zucchini and corn, garnished with a crab fritter. Then, we had the pasta, which was only edible by one of us, who happened to be starving. The other portion went uneaten. It was so bad that we ordered another dish as well, this time, a reasonably well cooked, but still uninteresting, piece of mullet. There must be good Italian food in Copenhagen; we are still looking for it!

Yelp
Cozy restaurant, excellent food, great service. And I like that they keep their wines in a temperature controlled wine fridge. Too many restaurants leave them out, incl on hot days. ONe extra star for that!
