Hospedaje Magallanes

Great little hotel! Good price. Good staff, very friendly and kind! Room was clean and tidy. We booked for 2 nights and ended up 11 in total.

Hospedaje Magallanes is a nice simple hotel, the rooms are clean and large. Staff is agreeable. It is a few blocks from the center of town, but not too far away. There are grocery stores and eateries nearby.

Really enjoyed our stay at Hospedaje Magallanes. Very easy to locate and a quick check in. Room was all we needed, bed was comfy, was very close to many amenities. We walked everywhere while in Santander. Property about half a mile from train/bus stations. So close to cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. We would recommend this property and would stay again. Cheers. Amazing location, lady at reception was nice and the room was clean. The room could have used a second bin (there was only a small one in the bathroom) and there was no fridge or safe. The building has an elevator which is handy. For the cost it was an absolute bargain.

Just about to leave after a one night stay whilst on the Camino... What can I say, five stars all day long. Location ten minutes walk from the bus/train stations, staff 100%, room spacious, clean and price very reasonable, very happy and would return!👍

The hospedaje is one floor of a building just a street way from the main city thoroughfare, offering basic but clean rooms. |The entrance is via a shared door but the reception area is clearly signed and the receptionist spoke good English. The room was very clean but a little bland, TV only had Spanish channels. The Wifi was relatively quick, enough bandwidth for streaming. |Santander was an interesting stop over on the way home. It improved once the sun came out. The museum of archeology was more interesting than I had imagined and the tour of the Magdalena Palace appeared fascinating, if only my Spanish was better. They did give me a guide to help but I think I missed a lot of the detail.

Room is small and basic. Bathroom is clean but more facilities required for placement of toiletries over the bath area. Floor gets very wet, only a shower curtain and not a shower screen. Good location. Parking.

Really nice place to stay immaculate everywhere. The room was a good size with plenty of windows. The bathroom was well equipped and had a hairdryer. A good sized wardrobe and drawers was a bonus as were the extra pillows. Easy to find if you are doing the Camino, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
