The owners are very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are very clean, normal size, with tv, shower and WiFi. A nice roof terrace gives you a good seaview. It is a bit noisy though, not because of partying youngsters, but because off the construction of the hostal (room windows giving out on the hall, a noisy boiler, ..).|The best cremoladas in town are just next door, from the same owner.|

The room we had here was lovely and clean. Shower was hot and it was cleaned daily if we wanted it doing. |Hosts gave us a warm welcome and were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.|The location is great, a block from the beach and within walking distance to shops and restaurants in the town. Easy to catch collectivos to Chan Chan and Trujillo.|The roof top terrace is a nice area to relax and the kitchen is clean and has all the basics you need.|I would definately recommend this place and stay here again.

I have stayed here many many times with my wife and we always have a great time. The staff here is always on and the price for all that you get is hard to beat. I have never been to a hotel where they take such good care of it making sure it is clean and meticulous. The rooms are from 40-50 soles, cable, and private bathrooms. It is always a treat for us to stay here. We don’t need to look anywhere else when we go to Huanchaco. They also have two additional bonuses. The first is that they have a nice kitchen on the top floor for guests and it even has a hang out place. The other great thing they have is that they sell awesome frozen fresh (with real fruit) fruit slushies’/smoothies called cremoladas. This is a great place, super safe and great location. Highly recommended.

I spend there five nights. You have just private accommundations. The rooms are really clean and will also be cleaned after each day if you like :-)! The kitchen on the roof top is really nice and you got everthing what you need! The owners try to make your stay as enjoyable how much the can :-)! So I definetly recommand it

This is a great hostel that basically feels like a proper hotel. We had daily cleaning and the staff and hosts were very, very helpful and kind. The rooftop terrace and kitchen were nice and the location is right down to the beach. Having travelled all of Central America and most of South America, this is basically the best place we've been when you compare value for money.

We had the impression they weren't aware of our booking, they seemed rather surprised when we arrived. Room was ok, no warm water in the shower. View from the rooftop kitchen is quite nice but kitchen is equipped sparsely. Good thing was that we could leave our luggage in a locked room after check-out.

We had a perfect stay at Oceano! The rooms are really clean (hard to find in the other places), you can use a kitchen, and the hostel is almost on the sea side. Last but not least the cremoladas they made/sell are unforgettable

We had a double room out front, over the cremoladas sales window. Typical Peruvian windows may mean that it is not whisper quiet when there's stuff going on outside, but we still got the best sleep in a long while here. The bed was really comfortable, too! Very very clean, always hot water with sufficient pressure, cooking utensils, a really good value overall (even in high seaon).
