Great and tranquil place to relax. It has a swimming pool if needed. Big rooms with air-conditioning although wasn't really needed(even in August!). Breakfast was good quality and the sitting area is in an old chapel. Lots of parking space. ||The hotel is a short walk to the main square which has a couple of restaurants/bar. The houses around the square are very pretty and keeps you cool on a hot day as they are made of stone. There is also a small natural swimming pool in San Martin de Trevejo but the bigger ones are in Hoyos and Acebo.||As most restaurants in the town are closed on Mondays, the hotel ones are the only ones open. The menu options were scarce.

I really liked this hotel. Everything is spotlessly clean. The pool was nice and cold on a 35 degree afternoon. WiFi was good. Bed very comfy. Nice hot shower and good selection of toiletries. Breakfast was good too. We had an evening meal here, there is a choice of set menus. We had the €15 p/p one. It consisted of 3 courses and included soft drinks. It was very good. I would stay here again if I was in the area. I'd highly recommend.

Tremendous location outside a tiny village. All the staff were friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a magnificent view of olive groves and mountains. The dinner, included in our half-board, was almost gourmet and was a good choice at 15,00 per person, with everthing included. Breakfast was plentiful and varied.||||Wifi in the room was weak, but considering the remote location, surrounded by mountains, it was to be expected. In the lounge there was much better reception

We were spending the long weekend in the mountains near the Portuguese border and looking for somewhere to stay when we found this place. It was spectacular. In a beautiful, quiet part of Spain, the hotel, is part of a small group run by the local government, to try and promote tourism in rural areas and protect historic buildings. And what a great project. Our room (number 7) was huge and they'd put some time, effort and expense into a modern and stylish design, but which complemented the original monastery. The restaurant was fantastic- we tried the tasting menu, which was huge but delicious, showcasing products from the local area. Breakfast was equally good in the spectacular de-consecrated church. The location was also well worth the effort, near the pretty one-time Pueblo más Bonito de España San Martín de Tejero and at the start of a walk through a beautiful chestnut forest. I'd thoroughly recommend this place as a luxurious stop (they had a spa too, which we didn't use) that is rooted in its surroundings.

Really nice hotel with old town charm. Meals were very good! The room was very nice and clean. Nice view of the mountains.

This is a nearly 600 year-old structure that maintains to beauty of antiquity with a strong touch of modernity. The rooms are still small, but they are well-appointed with comfortable beds, ample baths, wifi and a bar fridge. The public spaces are airy and meld to feel of a cathedral with clean modern amenities. The physical setting is lovely and the town that it is near, is fun just to walk through. We already want to go back.

The refurbishing of the place, in terms of stable and good taste is super poor, there are walls with humidities, the frame of the doors in poor condition, and the refurbishing they did of an historical place is awful. Instead of giving a sense of relaxing atmosphere seems a regular city hotel in poor conditions. ||||No pillows in the room, the room was super small. ||||The barroom has no privacy whatsoever. The door is a glass door, that doesn’t even close properly. You can’t even feel relax in the Toilet cos the door doesn’t fit the frame. ||||The price 90 eur per night is completely exaggerated. ||||We are becoming here in Spain like Italy or France where hotel prices are not worth at all the quality. ||||Feeling quite off after traveling all this way.

Stayed here a couple of years ago when the convent was still being converted and just the rooms and main bar area was done, now its finished what a place. Perched on a hill on the edge of town it's not easy to get to, the road is narrow, very uneven and on a bike some tight turns, best to park in the lower car park to avoid the cobbles. ||Once in it's excellent, great modern rooms, plenty of glass all around so you can still see the old building, friendly staff, good prices at the bar and good food. For locals (or anyone else if needs be) the old church has been converted to a room for special events and it looks fantastic. Outdoor pool and a tennis court in season, only problem was the bloody frogs croaking all night.
