It’s off the beaten path in magnificent location that is well worth the visit. Complimentary Tesla charger much appreciated.

We loved this hotel. Modern hotel perched on a hill gazing out over the Sierra de Francia with incredible views surrounded by gardens. Really comfortable and idyllic. Our room was light and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful particularly the receptionist helping us plan our visit and the waitress. The restaurant serves a very nice menu reasonable priced. We would happily return soon. The hotel is well situated to visit the Batuecas, Sierra de Francia and Los Hurdes.

The hotel is beautifully situated on the mountain overlooking the little village. Good, comfortable rooms with design interiors, modern bathroom and lots of space. Wonderful breakfast with jamon Iberico and many other treats from the region. The restaurant ||Asks atmosphere, so for dinner we went to town. There is a steep but easy-to-do trail that brings you down in 8 minutes, ask the staff (if you can find one, they were painfully absent).

This was our last stop on a week's tour of Extremadura, for 2 nights, and overall it was the best (and the 3 others were Paradors). Location of course was a particular positive, in the mountains with lovely views from dining areas and bedrooms. On the second morning - a Sunday- the silence was deafening! The standard of the food was overall good, although the hake we had one evening was not up to standard - a thick piece which was tasteless as though it had been deep frozen for a long time. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The pool was very welcome as the weather was hot, and still functioning late September. The drawback is it's quite small and shallow, so swimming is difficult. There's some lovely walks nearby, particularly in the Batuecas which is actually in Castilla-Leon. Its an easy drive to Meandro del Melero which is quite spectacular. The hotel is good value, particularly for over 60's with a 20€ reduction on most days.

If you want contact with nature and peace and quiet this is the place. Well located for visiting surrounding villages like El Gasco and the view of Meandro del Melero. Great breakfast and high quality in the dinner, which can be taken at half-board. For fifteen euros you get a gourmet meal, which incudes drinks and dessert. All staff very helpful and friendly, especially Maria José at the front desk.||||The wifi reception was very bad in our room, on the first floor although it did work fine in the lounge. This is normal considering the hotel is in a deep valley surrounded by mountains.

We recently stayed two nights at this lovely hotel and were impressed with the quality of the accommodation - a very large room with pleasant decor, a lovely vista from our window and a huge bathroom. We appreciated the buffet breakfast choices and also enjoyed a dinner in the dining room the first night of our stay. Each dish which came to our table (we shared entrees with two friends) was presented beautifully - worth a photograph, and our main course was more than ample. We would recommend this hotel for those wishing to explore the Hurdes region.

Really picturesque location. Very pleasant and helpful staff. We were the only guests in and they had heated the room for our arrival on a cold, wet January evening. The room smelled of sewage but we were offered another right away with no fuss. Unfortunately the awful smell pervaded the whole of the corridor and we couldn't put the air conditioning on to warm the room because it drew in the smell from outside the door. So we didn't sleep very well for the cold. Decided that we couldn't stand it a second night so left next morning. Such a shame. It's a nice place, rooms are very big with nice views and plenty of lighting, very comfortable bed, breakfast is perfectly adequate and the staff eager to please. But until the septic tank is sorted out, I would definitely recommend staying away.

Could have spent another few days here, second time here but last time it rained all the time. This trip showed just how good this region of Spain is, great hotel with good sized rooms, pool and plenty of outside space to relax, covered parking for the bikes (if you get in first). Many of the local roads have recently been re-surfaced and plenty of sights to visit on ride outs. Good breakfast and evening meals also plentiful, being Spain the beer is fairly priced as is the Larios. Bit of a steep climb back to the hotel if you walk into the village for a beer or two.
