The hotel internally is modern, with the external facia showing some antiquity. Jerte and the hotel are in a lovely location set in a mountain valley beside a river. The hotel pool looks over the small river and is a relaxing pool to be in. We dined elsewhere to add some variety to the stay.|Breakfast is good with bacon and eggs being available to order. The room is large with wooden flooring, a good sized bed and comfortable mattress. The bathroom has a large shower , with dual hand basins. The staff are very helpful and we thought in our experience that they really try to look after their clients. We stayed two days and found the stay at the Hospederia very relaxing and enjoyable.

We had a very pleasant experience in this hotel located in the heart of the jerte valley. Id like to first highlight the excellent service received. You can store a bike near reception. We were upgraded to a larger room overlooking the river which made the stay memorable. It was dead quiet and the bed was very comfortable measuring 180cm x200cm. Breakfast was ok but lunch was amazing and very affordable if you go for the set menu. The best part though is the dining hall which has superb views of the valley. On the down side the tesla destination charger wasnt working and the bathroom has a transparent wall that makes the room very bright when in use.

We spent 2 nights here in August to explore el valle del jerte, and loved everything about the hotel. From the first moment, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and quite spacious and clean. The pool area is really pleasant, and the breakfast was fantastic. At 110€ euros a night, it was perhaps a little out of our price range, but I am glad we decided to spend the extra. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. And the surrounding area is spectacular!

This was our second stay in this lovely hotel. Excellent, helpful staff member on reception when we arrived. We had a gorgeous lunch on the Sunday of our arrival. Breakfast was amazing, as always in the Hospederias. Our room was clean and spacious. There are plenty of things to do in the area and Jerte makes a good base for touring around.

This 'hospedería' of Extremadura sits directly in town, and was renovated in March of 2015. We stayed here for three nights for some rest and relaxation. It has a very interesting mix of old and new architecture, which we quite enjoyed. Most of the staff were a delight and went above and beyond for service. The property itself is clean and has all the modern finishes with some rustic charm in the old flooring and beamed ceilings. It's actually quite cool. While there is no private parking, there is ample, free street parking outside the hotel and it's not a problem. The pool area is nice as well, and has a killer view of the surrounding mountains. The only drawbacks here are the less than consistent Wi-Fi (slow, fast, in, out, etc.) which drove us a bit crazy. They should definitely look into that as one expects reliable and fast Wi-Fi nowadays, especially in a 4-star establishment. And, the restaurant, while nice, overplays its hand a bit as we had better (and cheaper) meals in town. There's a cafe as well, open all day, but the terrace was never open, despite the sunny days, which was a shame in the middle of summer. There is ample A/C in the rooms. We also had a fridge, but I have no idea if that's standard as we had the junior suite. Breakfast had an abundance of goods from eggs to pastries, breads, fruites, embutidos and more. And, unlimited coffee options as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we'd stay here again if we came back to the Valle del Jerte.

This hotel has the potential to be great but it is not at the moment for the following reasons: 1. Style The place looks like a waiting room of a dentist. Please hire a professional to redecorate every room. Don’t use lights with kelvin 3000 in the hotel rooms, turn off the horrible music and use accessoires to decorate. 2. Maintenance and cleaning The carpet as many big stains and needs to be replaced. Same for the sunscreens near the pool. Only three and two were broken. The pool is great but the terrace looks like a parking lot. 3. Staff The staff (during breakfast) is not trained, not efficient and not customer friendly. Asking three times for something is really enjoying knowing that there are only 4 tables used. The girl at the reception is the exception, she is nice.

This is a small, but well located hotel in Valle del Jerte. We were there to watch the cherry blossoms, which was quite spectacular. ||The hotel has decent size rooms, ample bathroom, flat screen tv, and our room (106) was located right next to a small creek. If you get a room with a view to the creek you can hear the water flowing, which is quite nice.||The hotel has a nice pool, although it was closed during our visit. The breakfast was ok. We had better breakfasts in other paradores.||Service was very good, and the staff was attentive.

We were for 2 days! Our room has a really expectacular views, one side was the river and the other side was the swimming pool!!! The room was perfect, not too big but not too small as well, amazing for a couple. The staffs were competent and nice. Well done! ;)
