I recently had the pleasure of dining at this venue and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the exceptional presentation. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully plated, clearly showcasing the chef’s attention to detail and creativity. The atmosphere is intimate and charming—an ideal setting for a relaxed and memorable date night, especially if you’re looking to try something a little different from the usual spots. It strikes a perfect balance between casual and elegant, making it both inviting and special. While the overall experience was positive, there were a few minor service-related issues that could be improved. These did not significantly detract from the evening but are worth noting for future refinement. That said, the quality of the food and ambiance more than made up for it. I would definitely return and look forward to seeing how the service continues to evolve.

An incredible dining experience in a gorgeous, intimate space. We felt transported away from the moment we stepped into the restaurant. The amount of consideration put into every aspect of the experience- from the lighting and decor, table service, to the food itself- really comes across. I have eaten at Host multiple times and had the most wonderful experience. The food is absolutely amazing! every dish was mouthwatering and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is calm, intimate, and quietly elegant, making it the perfect spot to unwind. What really sets this place apart is the owner’s incredible knowledge of wine. Their passion shines through in every recommendation, making each glass feel thoughtfully chosen to complement the food. I highly recommend trying the “Just Feed Me” option. It’s a delightful surprise of multiple courses, featuring dishes I wouldn’t normally choose myself, but every single one was delicious and opened my eyes to new flavors. Truly a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be back again, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone I know!

My husband and I love cooking ourselves, so really appreciate the complex simplicity of good flavours and quality food, but this dining experience has been absolutely phenomenal. Extraordinary flavours and food! It's literally the best dining experience we have had in Australia- and we've been here 8 years! Everything was amazing- the staff, the service, the food, the wine... it was fantastic. A special Thank you to Bop for an amazing evening. We will definitely be back!

We went here for our anniversary dinner and it was incredible. We had such fantastic service the staff were just so amazing and attentive. The food was just perfect, amazing value. 10/10 recommend, we'll definitely be coming back.

I'm not much of a meat eater, but overall our first dining experience here was delicious, and each dish was curated and introduced with obvious expertise. The fact the dishes were small but plentiful gave us the opportunity to try a wide range of tastes without feeling overfull; the meal felt like the perfect amount. The house made lemonade was also a highlight and I really liked the zucchini flowers. The autumn veg felt like a few too many flavours in one, but still nice. If there was a more plant based version I'd probably go back every few months, but as it was, it was a lovely and unique dining experience that I'd recommend.

Zev has come up with a new, more casual concept for his space. The food is still amazing. Fantastic menu, lots of easy favourites but with options for more adventurous diners. And um.. if you're a carnivore you've GOT to order the steak. I've never seen a more perfectly cooked piece of meat. Wine list is lovingly curated and once again everyone is catered for. The waitstaff know the winelist well and are very capable of guiding your selections. The team are always friendly, fun, professional and knowledgeable.

HOST - Such a treat to have an intimate spot to enjoy amazing food, great service and all round good vibes. We enjoyed the feed me option which was very reasonably priced for the amount of food they gave us and evident quality of the produce they use. The chef ensured I was able to eat gluten free without the risk of cross contamination, which is a welcome change to most restaurants. The servers were quick to keep our glasses full of exciting wines, beers and cocktails. Their wine selection is insane so I enjoyed trying different wines I'd never tried before. Who knew you could get this in Toowoomba! I felt like we were back in Sydney but paying half the bill. You can tell instantly their food is made with love, and that translated with every bite.
