Recommend checking this place out. Saw restaurant on my way to another restaurant. Actually double back and decided to eat here. Service was decent. Not a full house, so no long waits. Had the grilled sea bass with seasonal veggies. Food served hot and it was delicious 😋. Atmosphere was decent with a good selection of music. Peace and quiet. Able to enjoy meal without bar noise. Price was a little more than I initially wanted to pay for a meal, but the meal was good and I was happy and left with a full tummy.

Unforgettable Culinary Experience at hOST Restaurant Our visit to hOST Restaurant was exceptional from start to finish! For the appetizer, we had peppers with cheese – a fantastic combination of mild spiciness and delicious cheese. The tartare was absolutely perfect – fresh, expertly seasoned, and served with excellent toast. The main courses completely won us over. The truffle risotto was creamy, intensely aromatic, and the truffle flavor blended beautifully with the delicate texture of the rice. The steak was cooked to perfection – juicy and exactly as requested – accompanied by a phenomenal truffle mashed potato that elevated the entire dish to another level. For dessert, we enjoyed homemade tiramisu, which was airy and beautifully balanced, and a refreshing lemon sorbet – the perfect finishing touch to an amazing evening. The restaurant also boasts an excellent selection of wines, which were expertly recommended to pair with our dishes, and I must say the choices were absolutely spot-on. Overall, I would rate hOST Restaurant as a top-tier dining spot in Prague, where outstanding food, great wine, and professional service come together. We will definitely be coming back!

Authentic good finds in Prague, it took a bit long to enjoy freshly served meal , we waited a bit longer than expected but it was a very pleasant experience with food and ambiance, indeed a taste of Italy ❤️ it is a very small restaurant, few tables , but the service & the food -TOP! We come from germany & we finally found our favorite Italian restaurant in Prague, where every meal is delicately crafted and cooked with love. Our new favorite place every time we visit prague 🤌🏼

I had a truly memorable dining experience at hOST in Prague. From the moment I walked in, the inviting ambiance and attentive service set the stage for what was to be a culinary delight. The restaurant boasts an exquisite selection of wines, each chosen to perfectly complement the Mediterranean-inspired menu. To start, I enjoyed the grilled squid—tender, subtly smoky, and masterfully prepared. It was a delicious introduction to the meal that made me eager for what was to follow. The octopus, served as the main course, was another highlight; it was perfectly cooked, boasting a wonderful texture and a rich blend of flavors that spoke to the chef’s expertise. To round off the meal, the dessert offerings were simply outstanding. The homemade tiramisu was delightfully creamy with just the right balance of espresso and cocoa, and the lemon sorbet provided a refreshing, tangy contrast that cleansed the palate beautifully. Each dish was a testament to the kitchen’s commitment to quality and flavor. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, hOST is a must-visit restaurant in Prague for anyone who appreciates great food, a thoughtfully curated wine list, and an atmosphere that makes every meal feel special. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their creative menu

Dining at Host in Prague was an experience we'll never forget. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the restaurant’s warm, elegant atmosphere and perhaps most memorably its stunning panoramic view of the city. Watching the sun set over Prague’s rooftops while enjoying world-class cuisine was truly magical. The setting alone makes Host special, but the food and service elevate it even further. The team was incredibly welcoming and professional, striking the perfect balance of attentive and relaxed. Every dish was introduced with care, showcasing not only the chef’s talent but also the staff’s deep knowledge and pride in what they do. If you're in Prague and looking for a truly memorable evening, one that delights all the senses, Host should be at the top of your list. It’s a perfect blend of culinary excellence, heartfelt service, and a setting that feels like a dream.

HOST feels like a place you don’t just find: someone has to tell you about it It’s tucked away on a quiet hill with a few tables, a soft atmosphere, and people who really care about what they do. Everything here speaks of love for Piemonte, for its wines, its ingredients, its calm beauty. We had a bottle of Barolo that made us stop talking for a minute: it was so expressive, so alive. The vitello tonnato was perfectly executed, silky and nostalgic. The tiramisù? Honestly one of the best I’ve had, so light it disappeared the moment it hit the tongue And the Fiorentina steak from Chianina IGP: cooked rare and carved at the table. Pure honest flavour. That kind of meat doesn’t need anything extra, just respect, and they gave it exactly that. HOST isn’t trying to impress. It’s not loud. It just is. And when you’re there you feel like you’re part of something quietly special Thank you hOST for a dinner that felt like coming home to a place I didn’t know I was missing. An intimate Piedmontese kitchen in Prague that deserves to be known but only by the right people.

One of our best Italian meals! Real attention to the ingredients and great service. I had a vegetarian meal: peppers, pasta with truffles, Mille feuilles with raspberries. All exquisite. Great wine list.

A lovely small restaurant nestled close to the castle with a wonderful view. I passed by by chance after a days tour through the city. My mobil battery was dead and I had no idea what to expect. First of all upon entering I foot a warm welcome, maybe by the owner. The restaurant has a quiet elegance without over doing it. Dark colours, comfortable chairs and a relaxing lighting. Perfect after a long day. The guests seem to be locals. No tourists. The food was excellent. I had a very good soup with homemade capellinis as a first course. My second dish was beef cheeks with mashed potatoes and a very well cooked sauce. A very generous dish made with great care. It was very good. The waiter was very attentive and recommended a good wine. I can greatly recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
Really amazing gourmet food for a fraction of the price you'd pay in the states. The view from the dining room over Prague was amazing and the service was fantastic. All menu items were in Czech and English. We had the Octopus, steak, and duck. It was great!

Yelp
We were coming back from the castle and decided to stop here for a quick bite. We saw on the outside display menu there was a lunch special for €7.50 for potato dumplings with ham and a dessert. We were seated quickly and it seemed that all tables came with a view which was nice! Our was farther down than most so we had a great view overlooking the city. One bad thing, there was old lipstick all over my glass and I didn't realize it until I had already drank from it... The ambience in there was pretty modern so it felt a little out of place in a very old, wooden beam structure and next to the castle/surrounding buildings. The music that was playing was also very 'clubby/hotel lobby-like'. The rest of the menu was actually quite expensive compared to the lunch special so we didn't prefer outside of that. Our food came out relatively quickly and was fine, but nothing that I would crave after leaving Prague. The dessert was a small piece of apple strudel which was also good but pretty standard. We also had to pay for tap water so FYI don't buy additional water if you already have a full bottle in your bag like I did :)

Yelp
On the way down from Prague Castle, the location is excellent. There is a good view of old town. Food is ok but not great. The duck confit I had was a bit tough and dry. Pear and goat cheese appetizer was a great concept but the pear was a bit cold and the greens were not as fresh.

Yelp
The food was sooo good. It's homemade, authentic Czech dishes but elevated. While the service was slightly pushy, and you are asked quite often if you want another drink or something else, the taste of the food made up for it and spoke for itself. The roast duck is clearly a specialty for them- the quantity is huge and it melts in your mouth. The crispy skin is the best part. The other dishes were fairly good too, they come well portioned with meat, vegetables(especially the grilled chicken which comes with a plate of veggies underneath it), and "bread dumplings" to sop up the sauce. This is a nice hidden gem!

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous! What a wonderful little hidden jewel. The entrance is off of an alley stairway. Great service and gorgeous views. We ordered goulash and spring rolls with ginger lemonade. Food was perfect. Very reasonable prices. Would recommend to anyone who loves great food and a breathtaking view.

Yelp
Prague has a lot of choices for food. Most of it amazing, however service is something you will not receive. hOST has by far the best service I've had in the city. English speaking server who both was aware of our needs and checked if everything was to our liking. The food and the view where also amazing! Great experience - I'd come back.

Yelp
Lucy was amazing! We had drinks late in the afternoon and enjoyed ourselves so much that we stayed for dinner. Food was a little pricier than other local spots but delicious. Also, the ambiance of the restaurant was very nice with a beautiful view.

Yelp
We went there for drinks, lovely view and service. The boys enjoyed their beer and I enjoyed my lovely fresh ginger tea. Very calm and relaxing atmosphere!
