Hostal Adriano

Great stay overall! The service was excellent and the staff super friendly. The rooms were very clean, and the location is perfect—just a 10-minute walk to Puerta del Sol and a great starting point for sightseeing. The bathroom is a bit tight, so it might not be ideal for someone who needs more space, but it’s clean and fully functional. I’ve already recommended it to friends and will definitely come back myself!

Cheap, cheerful and in a terrific location just steps from the Puerta del Sol (one of Madrid’s central squares). Staff are friendly and speak excellent English and the place is immaculately clean.||Great little hotel! Highly recommended!

We have been staying here for many years and hope to continue to do so. Excellent location and great room facilities - tv, fridge, air con and safe. Always clean and comfortable and we always receive a warm welcome. Location is great close to Sol metro.

The room cleanliness, modern and fresh decor and ammenities were great. The location was close to everything, the wifi reliable and the staff helpful and pleasant. The lack of soundproofing between rooms left me tired and sleep deprived after 6 nights. You could hear everything that was said and done on both sides. Basically a hotel is payment for a restful sleep and this place did not deliver.

Greatly enjoyed my stay at Hostal Adriano. Super friendly and helpful staff, room well appointed and clean, perfectly located - central and very easy walking/metro to many key attractions and great food establishments everywhere. As a solo female traveller and first time visitor to Madrid, I felt very safe and comfortable staying here.

The hostal is super centrally located absolutely in the center. The rooms are lovingly decorated, beautifully lit, the beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is small but perfectly adequate. Everything is very clean, it is perfectly cleaned every day. The operators and all the staff are absolutely lovely and super friendly. The rooms are well insulated, have air conditioning and heating. Nevertheless, it is not completely quiet, the hostal is now very very centrally located in the middle. We got used to it and put up with it because our room was really nice and felt like home. A really good place! Good value for money! Thanks guys!

Stayed there from 17 - 19 November. The location of this hotel is simply amazing!!! We went walking practically everywhere - the main square, the royal palace, all the good restaurants, the San Miguel Market! |The hostel is really really clean, nicely kept, the rooms have good clean linen, basic toiletries. The staff is simply amazing! Very courteous and always ready to help with a smile! The rooms are a little small, but c’mon, it’s a hostel what do you expect! |Loved it. Will surely recommend to friends.

I stayed in this hostel for 4 nights. Service was just average but location is very central, close by to several Metrol stations and walking distance to Gran Via shopping area. Setback is the neighboring building was a dance club with music blasting to the wee morning and loud noises (police sirens, people shouting etc) during night. I supposed you have no choice if you are near city center. The room wise, it was pretty decent, the only setback is the tiny bath cum toilet. Difficult to move around in that small bath room.

Good homebase for Madrid. Nice room with bathroom, reasonable price. We felt a bit concerned about the immediate surrounding streets but not an issue and you are in the heart of the action near Sol. Would stay her again for sure. Great staff, quiet place with wifi.

I have stayed here many times, both with my wife and my college students. It is an excellent place with great staff and a great location, about 2 minutes from Sol. Adriano is on the 4th floor. Entry is from a secure door off Calle de la Cruz, and then you can take stairs or a small elevator. They have a web site to show the rest, but I love staying here. Alberto and his staff keep it clean and safe, with excellent prices. I will stay here, again and again. They have an excellent website at www.hostaladriano.com in both English and Spanish.
