Hostal & Cabañas Don Juan

I just stopped here to spend the night, there's wifi and rooms have private bathrooms, I mention this since many hostels have shared bathrooms, there's also parking. The room had clean sheets, and that's it, you got most of the things that you need, plus a very kind staff. There's no included breakfast, but you can use the kitchen, refrigerator, and dining room any time of the day to either heat or prepare your meal.

Nice and clean hostel with a calm athmosphere. For travelers that are not necessarily seeking company by other travelers, does not have much of a hang-out vibe. Beds and bathroom are very nice and breakfast is simple but good! Would definitely recommend.

During a trip through the country we dropped by at 1:30 ish am without any prebooking etc and the service was amazing and the prices very cheap ... the rooms are fine and the area inside the hostal are just wonderful ... 30000 pesos for a double room is just wonderful. The place is might not Ritz with 5 stars but considering the price paid is like a hotdog it's just amazing ...

We began our stay in Chile from Villarrica and were in this hostel for 3 nights. The location is perfect in the center of town, the rooms are very clean and nice .There is a big, clean and well organized common kitchen for everyone' use. And we had a lot of good travel explanations from the teem.

Maybe it was all a "series of unfortunate events", but we simply didn't enjoy our time at this place. The room was small, cramped and didn't have a proper shower. Generally the place is quite old-fashioned. But the most frustrating part was the staff, who either didn't know what services they were offering (i.e. tours, laundry), gave us false information or kept forgetting about things they promised to do (like turn off the heating in our room, which strangely enough we couldn't do ourselves). Sometimes we felt more in the way than welcome.

We had a wonderful time in Villarica, thanks to Juan who is very attentive to his clients needs, and very knowledgeable about the region, a very good organizer for the trip if you need help, and gives excellent advice, The room was sparkling clean, hot water was available all day long, the kitchen was available and clean and well-equipped, with a cosy dining room. At Juan's place you feel like home! If somebody looks for room service and grooms, they have to go to Sheraton and pay ten times more. Juan's hotel offers an excellent cost/quality ratio

eds were pretty soft||Shower went warm then cold then warm and the shower head wasn't great||Very central location, onsite parking and a lovely shared kitchen area which was very fully equipped so you could choose to eat in or not.||Spacious room and quiet - but the wall were pretty thin, so if we had a noisy neighbour things would have been different!||Wifi provided but a little intermittant||Very good value for money!
