Hostal Casa De Cisneros

This has been one of my best hotel experiences. We stopped here after a long stay on bad beds at a busy brand name hotel in Madrid, and were blown away by the hospitality, atmosphere and comfort of this little hotel. It is very quiet as there is so few rooms and the king beds are very comfortable. The website notes the rooms are small but it’s mainly because you get to have such amazing beds; the natural light, design and the view of the cathedral makes the room feel luxurious otherwise. The staff were super accommodating, if you call ahead as directed in the website they will let you check in early if possible, helped us carry our bags, as well as store baggage after checkout. As it’s in a restored medieval estate/hospital next to the cathedral, you really feel connected to the history of Toledo.

Charming historic building and a great value. Our room was right across from the Cathedral and perfect location for walking around Toledo. The breakfast was extra but excellent and served in a lovely dining room. Rooftop patio with an amazing view! I highly recommend.

This is a wonderful guesthouse perfectly located - literally right across the street from the Cathedral. The proprietor and staff are incredibly warm and helpful, and the hotel and room were decorated beautifully.||As this is an older building the bathroom is smaller, but the shower is modern, there is central A/C, a spacious closet, and seriously effective blackout curtains. Terrific breakfast in a deeply charming small dining room, and there is a small rooftop with seating that offers a spectacular view of Toledo.

This hotel was a great find! Charming historic building in great location. Our room was right across from the Cathedral. We were able to walk to anyplace we wanted to see in Seville. The rooms are furnished beautifully. The breakfast, though not included, was excellent and served in a lovely dining room. I highly recommend!

We stayed this month for only one night with my partner, but we both wish we could've stayed longer in this friendly, clean and cozy hostel. If we visit Toledo again, we will definitely stay here! The room was comfortable, quiet and clean and we just loved the rustic sytle, also, the little rooftop terrace offered an amazing view to the town and the cathedral. Staff were super nice and welcoming and here we'd specifically want to thank Sr. Gregory for recommending us the best restaurant to dine at^^

Perfect place to stay in Toledo! It is decorated very nicely with cute, clean rooms and a beautiful rooftop terrace that has the best views. Also feels very safe and secure. It is located right by the cathedral and is within walking distance to everything around town. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Toledo!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, historic building in the heart of Toledo, enjoying its authentic charm and amazing terrace. However, things went downhill at checkout. We were 15 minutes late, and instead of a polite reminder, the room service lady pointed to her watch and yelled at us. The reception staff also insisted we should have left exactly at noon, without giving us a simple reminder. We apologized for the delay but felt their rude response was unnecessary. It was a disappointing end to an otherwise great stay.

It’s difficult to think of a more amazing place to stay in this fantastic city. The Hospedería is soaked in history itself. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully furnished. The staff are kind and welcoming, and ending the night each day on the roof terrace before bed was very special. If you’re thinking of coming to Toledo, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.
