I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Central Barcelona. The location is amazing within walking distance to Sagrada Familia and most of the main sights. The room was very clean, with plenty of fresh towels, and it even had a small balcony overlooking the street and some trees. It was quiet and felt very comfortable. The staff was really kind and helpful. Overall, I was really happy with my stay. Super clean and great value for money!

Very small rooms, with no real bathroom — just a shower that opens directly into the bedroom. The ‘door’ between the toilet and the room can hardly be called a door. We found cockroaches in the room. Terrible experience. The photos are completely misleading and fake, as the rooms are not like that at all.

I loved staying here. The rooms are small, but immaculately clean, great shower, and ecological amenities provided. There is free coffee, fruit, and cookies in the morning. Monica, the owner is super helpful, giving guests tips on where to go and what to see and accommodating special needs. It is very centrally located, so you can walk most anywhere. I will definitely stay there if I have a chance to visit again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great location and prices are affordable. The rooms are with fresh and clean interior but really tiny, it’s impossible to open a big suitcase. Also noise proof is poor. In general, I’d recommend to stay here if you are coming to the city alone and for a few days only.

The receptionist was friendly and checked us in. This was the cheapest hotel we could find in Barcelona for the night so my expectations were low. The bed was fine and the bathroom clean. There was a small wardrobe if you wished to unpack and a tiny little balcony to people watch. Better than I expected.

The hotel was absolutely amazing stay. Such a friendly staff. The receptionist is very helpful. Coffee is free and it’s so tasty. Clean and very quiet place, close to the centre. I would be back here for sure. Recommend to anyone who is looking to rest. Cleanliness is spotless and shower is very hot and pressure is amazing!

Excellent hotel with coffee and breakfast on offer. An elevator holds multiple bags in one trip. Comfortable beds, extremely clean rooms and strong wifi. Staff were fabulous helpful and all very friendly. Appreciated everything! Highly recommend. This is Spain and generally sound travels through walls so bring earplugs to avoid disturbances. They are sold at any pharmacy for about 1€ or less. Spain is an old country so is a lot of the construction. I slept perfectly fine, i just know a lot of Americans are not accustomed to staying in Spain. Just a friendly tip for anywhere you will stay. I also use earplugs on the trains 🤣.

Location is perfect.. 10 minute walk to sagrada familia.. 10 minute walk to arc de triumph.. close to the metro, (literally around the corner) and great location to explore the city. The rooms were excellent and the beds were really comfortable.. staff were extremely helpful and very welcoming.. will definitely stay again the next time I visit Barcelona. 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Yelp
GROSS - DO NOT BOOK HERE My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights and will not go back. The room is very small, you cannot leave the suitcase open or you can't move around. Towels were not bleached which means there where full of nasty brown/black spots. Most important of all, when taking a shower, the water was not going down the pipe but staying all in the shower and going all over the the floor of the TINY BATHROOM and part of the room as well. We've asked to change room but the hotel was full. We've then asked to receive a partial refund as we were paying 100€ per night but the receptionist which would not let us speak with the owner Monica (she apparently never is at the hotel) has refer us that Monica would not refund us anything. Monica said that it was our fault that THEIR PIPES WERE NOT FUNCTIONING. This situation was ridiculous and gross (see photo) and the customer service deriving from it just not acceptable. Will not be staying here ever again.
