Hostal Central

Had a awesome stay at this hostel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included and you are given an awesome meal. Stayed in a 3-bed dormitory and felt that I had my own space. Room and bathrooms are clean and the staff makes your bed everyday. Very close to el Zocalo, markets and other places. Lights out is at 12am, but if you go out of the hostel as long as you have your key you can come back at whatever time you desire. Overall, very recommended place!

wow best hostal ive ever stayed at!!! cannot recommend this place enough. every night there is a fun free activity, like cooking classes, cocktail making night, mole night etc. breakfast is included every day and is delicious and different each day of the week. theres lots of free day time activities and the staff is incredible. the dorm room beds are comfy and clean, they even make the beds every day. a large locker is provided and theres great communal spaces. plus a great location!!

I stayed in the 3 person dorm and it was so lovely. They are on top of the cleaning which I appreciate. All of the staff make you feel like family. Breakfast is a great way to meet everyone else and plan your day. The free activities offered are intentional and fun. A short walk away from all of the main sights. Highly recommend if you are looking for a social but not party hostel. Muchas gracias!!

The best hostel I stayed in in all of Mexico by far. Private room was very clean (and cleaned every day). Breakfast was delicious and the free activities every day were a nice highlight - LOVED the mezcal tasting! People are social in the hostel but it’s not for partying, it’s a very chilled out space

Excellent staff and beautiful interior design. However, the road outside the dorm room is extremely loud all day and all night. I woke up constantly each night. You need to invest in some better sound insulation. Thank you 🙏

Super cool hostel with great staff, amazing breakfast every morning, fun free activities daily. very chill place and at the same time still fun 🎉 highly recommend

THE best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff is wonderful, kind, and plan thoughtful events every evening each morning has a Oaxacan breakfast, and the rooms are insanely clean. Common spaces are wonderful and useful, there are quiet hours and a rooftop space. BONUS is the hostel dog. I can’t wait to return 🫶

I had a wonderful stay at Hostal Central. The facilities were clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly. They also organize great activities. Breakfast was always delicious and varied every day. I’d 100% recommend it!
