Hostal Colonial

We are a Canadian couple who recently travelled to Mallorca and were fortunate to chose the Hotel Colonial in Sant Jordi. We enjoyed a delightful four day stay at this lovely hotel. Our accommodation was excellent, double room with terrace and breakfast was included. Breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh selections and eggs prepared to order We enjoyed dinners at the hotel as well which were very good . The staff at the hotel are very gracious and very helpful, Francesca was always available and a very kind hostess. Enjoyed Mallorcan wine on our balcony at the end of the day The gelato here is the best! |Colonia Sant Jordi is a very picturesque town with friendly folks, beautiful beaches and not too touristy.|We recommend renting bikes from Cycles Mora as there are good bike routes for every level, We prefer the not too hilly routes.

Lovely hotel! A mere 3-min walk to the beach, the restaurant/cafe are really nice and staff is helpful. Visited in late October, the room and bathroom were perfectly cleaned and comfy, well fitted out. Very good value for money. Would 100% come back.

A lovely, hotel in an excellent location close to beaches, restaurants, shops and bus stop. Our room was really comfortable with a large bed and excellent air conditioning. We had everything we needed for our stay. Extra touches if you book direct were beach towels which were really useful and a free ice-cream each! The restaurant was really good too! We'll definitely be back!

We had a fabulous stay in one of the apartments. Can’t fault the staff- Lily and Miguel were absolutely super.|The restaurant which is also owned by the hotel is wonderful - we ate there twice in our 5 night stay. |The ice creams are to die for too! |Love the sustainability angle the hotel has. They give you glass bottles and a water cooler so that you don’t need to keep buying plastic bottles. |Definitely recommend.

Best gelato, we have been recommended by a staff from a restaurant by the beach. Went there 3 times during our stay in the town. Worth every penny, the quality is outstanding. Customer service is brilliant. Highly recommend.

We come each year to this place and we could easily copy paste the review. Despite of the fact that the hotel was continuously renovated and refurbished, getting better and better nothing else we have to say. The breakfast is really good. Compared to many other places we ate sometimes worse for more money than here. Also the host and the staff are friendly, helpful and always attentive. We recommend to visit this place for sure.

The food was delicious and the staff at the hotel were so so lovely! It was my first time in Mallorca and I felt very welcomed. Great location. The rooms are pleasant and clean, and the space was sufficient for our needs. Their ice-cream is very famous and it was nice to be able to indulge whenever we felt like it. It’s a lively area but things go quiet by around 10 or 11pm.

Beautiful friendly staff, very clean and comfortable. Sorted out our taxi. No noise at all in the room. The best ice cream ever. Food 5*.
