Hostal Colonial

A lovely, hotel in an excellent location close to beaches, restaurants, shops and bus stop. Our room was really comfortable with a large bed and excellent air conditioning. We had everything we needed for our stay. Extra touches if you book direct were beach towels which were really useful and a free ice-cream each! The restaurant was really good too! We'll definitely be back!

We had a fabulous stay in one of the apartments. We come each year to this place and we could easily copy paste the review. Despite of the fact that the hotel was continuously renovated and refurbished, getting better and better nothing else we have to say. The breakfast is really good. Compared to many other places we ate sometimes worse for more money than here. Also the host and the staff are friendly, helpful and always attentive. We recommend to visit this place for sure.

The food was delicious and the staff at the hotel were so so lovely! It was my first time in Mallorca and I felt very welcomed. Great location. The rooms are pleasant and clean, and the space was sufficient for our needs. Their ice-cream is very famous and it was nice to be able to indulge whenever we felt like it. It’s a lively area but things go quiet by around 10 or 11pm.

Best gelato, we have been recommended by a staff from a restaurant by the beach. Went there 3 times during our stay in the town. Worth every penny, the quality is outstanding. Customer service is brilliant. Highly recommend.

Hotel Colonial was such a special place! The employees were so kind and attentive and the hotel was seaside chic! Everyday was a pleasure, from the lovely breakfast, exquisite dinner at S'Escar restaurant (fish of the day was the best I've eaten and I returned twice for the fish and chips!!), and delicious gelato stand at the end of each evening. Don't miss the opportunity to stay at this gem in Colonia De Sant Jordi!!

Hostal Colonial is a small, traditional family hotel, famous for their ice cream parlour and very different from the mass tourism resorts in Mallorca. We stayed in one of the big apartments in the annex building. Rather outdated furniture, but very spacious, with comfortable bedding, wonderful location and view from the balcony. Close to everything you might need - beaches, supermarket, bakery, restaurants. In the hotel lobby next door you could have a drink, breakfast of some of their excellent ice cream. Juan, the manager, and Jesus took very good care of us. When a problem with the air condition arose, Juan did his best to fix it and eventually moved us to another apartment where everything was working tip-top. We might gladly visit again!

Lovely boutique hotel, with nicely decorated and comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Hotel’s ice cream is really tasty. Breakfast is highly recommended!
