We stayed at Hostal Corihuasi for two nights after trekking in the Andes and visiting Machu Pichu. It’s a really lovely place to stay with a great ambiance. We received a warm welcome and were offered tea on arrival. Staff were really helpful. |The location is ideal as it’s only 5 min walk down the hill to the Plaza de Armas. |Our triple room was very spacious with 3 large beds for 3 people. It was very, very quiet at night and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfasts were very good and freshly cooked eggs were provided according to our choice. There are lots of steps (up and down) outside to get to the rooms, but the staff were very helpful in carrying our bags. Very reasonable price per person per night. |Highly recommend.

We stayed here for one night after our Machu Picchu trip. The hotel’s location is convenient—just a 5-minute walk to the Plaza de Armas. Our room featured ribbon windows overlooking the city and the main Cathedral. A heater was provided, which made the room comfortable at night.||The water pressure and hot water in the shower were excellent, comparable to what we usually experience in the U.S. In fact, this is the only hotel I’ve stayed at in Peru so far with such strong water pressure, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, this place feels like a rare gem, especially considering its reasonable pricing.||Pros:||Very clean||Comfortable bedding||Quiet neighborhood||Amazing views||Multiple outlets available||Cons:||No shampoo provided||No filtered water available

Perfect stay! The room was spacious and comfortable. I used the laundry and food delivery services, and both were great. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part was the location and the view.

We checked in at night after a tour and we were very cold and tired from the uphill walk to the hotel. The staff quickly offered us cups of warm coca tea before processing the check-in procedures so our mood quickly improved upon interacting with the people in the hotel. Our room was spacious and warm which further improved our mood since our previous hotel in Cusco had cold rooms. The views from the rooms and the dining area were great especially at night since this hotel is located higher up than the plaza. Having coffee and tea available at all hours was also a plus since we were able to warm ourselves up after coming from the outside. The breakfast was great, especially the eggs. The hotel was also close to a laundry service (if not availing of the in-house laundry), within walking distance to the Plaza de Armas with cafes and minimarts along the way, and also very close to Sachayhuaman and the Cristo Blanco view spots. We enjoyed our stay here and our regret was not being able to book a room here on our first day in Cusco.

Great location ( few mins from plaza de armas). Owners are very helpful. They kept luggage free when we went to MP. Good breakfast. Nice city view from rooms.

The staff were excellent. The rooms are clean and nice. The location is perfect, only a 5 minute downhill walk to the main square. Walking back up took us a lot longer. The front desk will help order dinner delivery after a long day of exploring. Would definitely stay here again!

Great architecture, affordable price and large rooms with friendly, English-speaking hotel staff. Breakfast was simple but filling. While the hotel is located just minutes from Cusco's main square it's location has some issues. Firstly, it's located on a one way street that most Ubers/Taxis have a hard time navigating. Secondly, the street has many bars and clubs popular with locals - and this means music and partying very late into the night that can hamper a good night's sleep.

Love this place. It is old and with a lot of charm but well maintained and renovated with central heating, new thermo-windows, smoke detectors and bathrooms with almost instant and continuous hot water, all of which is uncommon for hotels of this price range in Peru. Furthermore it is quiet, the staff is very helpful and friendly, there is real art (not just pleasing decoration) in every room and they make the best scrambled eggs we have had in all of Peru. The only thing missing was a toilet brush...
