Perfect stay! The room was spacious and comfortable. I used the laundry and food delivery services, and both were great. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The best part was the location and the view.

We checked in at night after a tour and we were very cold and tired from the uphill walk to the hotel. The staff quickly offered us cups of warm coca tea before processing the check-in procedures so our mood quickly improved upon interacting with the people in the hotel. Our room was spacious and warm which further improved our mood since our previous hotel in Cusco had cold rooms. The views from the rooms and the dining area were great especially at night since this hotel is located higher up than the plaza. Having coffee and tea available at all hours was also a plus since we were able to warm ourselves up after coming from the outside. The breakfast was great, especially the eggs. The hotel was also close to a laundry service (if not availing of the in-house laundry), within walking distance to the Plaza de Armas with cafes and minimarts along the way, and also very close to Sachayhuaman and the Cristo Blanco view spots. We enjoyed our stay here and our regret was not being able to book a room here on our first day in Cusco.

Great location ( few mins from plaza de armas). Owners are very helpful. They kept luggage free when we went to MP. Good breakfast. Nice city view from rooms.

The staff were excellent. The rooms are clean and nice. The location is perfect, only a 5 minute downhill walk to the main square. Walking back up took us a lot longer. The front desk will help order dinner delivery after a long day of exploring. Would definitely stay here again!

Love this place. It is old and with a lot of charm but well maintained and renovated with central heating, new thermo-windows, smoke detectors and bathrooms with almost instant and continuous hot water, all of which is uncommon for hotels of this price range in Peru. Furthermore it is quiet, the staff is very helpful and friendly, there is real art (not just pleasing decoration) in every room and they make the best scrambled eggs we have had in all of Peru. The only thing missing was a toilet brush...

Very good value for money. Double Windows ensure warmth and quiet, hearing radiators in the rooms. Warm showers. Friendly staff.

My stay at this hotel was disappointing due to one major issue: the behavior of one staff member at the front desk. While the lady and younger gentleman were welcoming and professional, the older man was incredibly rude and unaccommodating. We booked a family room for three men for 4 nights, yet were provided only one small bag of shampoo and a single roll of toilet paper for the entire stay. When we ran out of these basic essentials and requested more, he claimed that guests are only entitled to one set for their entire trip, which is absolutely absurd. He even insisted we would need to pay for additional shampoo and toilet paper—something I’ve never experienced in any hotel before. After a lengthy argument at midnight, he reluctantly gave us the supplies but continued making inappropriate and nonsensical remarks. The experience was frustrating.

Great architecture, affordable price and large rooms with friendly, English-speaking hotel staff. Breakfast was simple but filling. While the hotel is located just minutes from Cusco's main square it's location has some issues. Firstly, it's located on a one way street that most Ubers/Taxis have a hard time navigating. Secondly, the street has many bars and clubs popular with locals - and this means music and partying very late into the night that can hamper a good night's sleep.
