Unhelpful, rude. Would definetly not recommended this to anyone. Keep in your mind no one does speak a single word in English. Not interested to find a way to communicate at all. Not responding to emails as well. I have mange to find someone speaking Spanish to update room from sharing bathroom to own one. No single afford to help. Real nightmare!! I brought this as a present and all I can do now is regret!!!

Booked this hotel with a private bathroom?when I checked in I am in a basement room with no window, just this little opening near the ceiling. Also sharing the bathroom etc with everyone else on that floor. There was no help at reception to any questions. The only positive of thus 'hotel' is the location. Would not recommend staying here

Good location near the train station. My room was on the small side, however as I was traveling alone this was not an issue. Breakfast is located a few blocks away from the main hotel but again no major issues. Overall a clean and tidy hotel at a budget price.

We were staying in this hotel as our son involved in a conference in the university city of Alcala de Henares. The hotel is in the city walls so little traffic and quirt.. The staff only Spanish speaking were helpful even thought a language barrier we all got by. Our room was clean, beds comfortable and towels changed if wished every other day, no breakfast but if you are busy do you really need an expensive hotel? [Drinks machine in lobby]. We would go back there even I think if we were going to visit Madrid again as station is only 15 minutes walk from hotel.. Public transport is cheap compared to UK..

||Convenient, clean, for centre. Comfortable beds with three glasses in the bathroom of our triple room (not usual!) along with plenty of towels (although we rarely use more than one each). ||||Plastic sheeting under bedsheet but not noticeable overnight.||||Ok proprietor not very talkative at 01:30 or 07:00!||||Used the hostal to get to airport early. ||||Coffee machine not working unfortunately for morning.||||Difficult to park in evening locally. One way streets confusing for approach. ||||Quiet overnight.

Clean, quiet, rooms are three stars at very economical prices. A family member stayed for 10 days for €290 just last month. Individual bathrooms, free wifi, ac/ heat and free cable tv. Not bad for €29/night situated in the city centre near everything.

Stayed just one night. Huge mistake. No hot water, dirty room, dirty beds, dirty towels. Hair (that wasn't mine) all over the blankets and sheets. The worst was the smell. It smelled like a mix of tobacco and bad air freshener. The smell stuck to all of my clothes and hair. I couldn't sleep at all because the pillow smelled like tobacco so much I didn't want to put my face on it. If there was an option of no stars I would have. I don't know how this place hasn't been shut down. Hemos quedado solo una noche. Era asqueroso. La cama lleno de pelos que no eran mías. Las toallas sucias, un olor de tabaco en él habitación y en las sabanas tan fuerte que no podría dormir. No había nada de agua caliente. A final fui de allí sin dormir y con un sentido de sucio que no puedes imaginar.

A very straightforward, no nonsense, no frills hotel. Very reasonably priced and great service from the front desk. Easy parking. Central to tons of places to eat and probably the most interesting sites in Alcala.
