This place is beautiful and well located, but during my stay the staff seemed quite disorganized, which created a tense atmosphere. They often occupied the common areas and made guests feel uncomfortable with unfriendly looks or attitudes. At times, I felt they treated me or my group differently, possibly because of our nationalities. The breakfast is overrated just some toast and burnt coffee and the kitchen is taken over by staff preparing their own meals, leaving no space for guests to cook. Overall, it didn’t feel as welcoming or well-managed as expected.

It is an okay Hostel with the basics. The staff were helpful and the rooms decent. I guess it also depends on the other guests and how they clean after themselves. I stayed in a 4 beds room. They were very flexible letting me leave my backpack before checking-in, as well as when I had to leave. What I liked the most was its terrace, where you can chill. A bit noisy, yeah, but earplugs and it is fine! People complain too much 😉 Thanks for the hospitality! 🙏

This place is a good basic option. Hot showers and toilets work, rooftop is nice, lockers provides and wifi and kitchen accessible but I found the vibes weren’t social and its was mostly local tourists or long stay people. The hostels itself was limited for space and the “included breakfast” was not appetising and you’re much better off eating at any of the hundreds of cafes nearby.

I arrived to Oaxaca city with no plans , a friend on the bus recommended the hostel , arriving there 10 mins walking from bus station , literally in the center close to everything walking distance , Staff super friendly knowledgeable, speaks English, I checked in in 5 mins in a dormitory room of 4 beds (men), they also have dormitory for women and private rooms . Each person has a locker to keep bags safe and a towel, everything is clean and tidy , common shower and bathroom. Common kitchen for the hostel open until 10 pm with fridge cuttleries water dispenser , plus breakfast included with the stay( tea coffee toast and jam) internet is super fast and covers the 3 stories , they also have a rooftop garden and a garden next to the kitchen ,,, super homey vibe , especially the ladies that prepare breakfast... wanted to stay for a day to figure things out ended up spending a week . Definitely recommended 👌

Worst stay of our trip. We booked for three nights but left after only one night. We had a private room at the front of the building. However, there are two bars on the opposite site of the street that had really loud music till 5 a.m. One of which was karaoke. Couldn't sleep at all. Moreover, our room wasn't clean and the sheets had stains. Staff wasn't helpfull at all. When we asked for clean sheets at the reception we were told there weren't any other sheets we could have. When we checked out we only got a remark on how expensive it is to leave two night early. Only upsides are the airconditioning and the location.

This is nice basic hostel. The staff and location are impeccable. The rooms and bathrooms are fine and perfectly okay for a few days especially considering the great price for staying there. The rooftop deck is a must do. Not impressed with the breakfast as there are so many other wonderful eating places in the Centro.

It was a very nice and comfy experience for traveling solo. The receptionist (Arturo) gave me a warm welcome and the whole staff was very nice. The room and bathrooms were clean. It was a little noisy bc of the bar’s area close by but I could sleep very well. Definitely I recommend it for its closeness to the center, only a few blocks away. The fare included a continental breakfast, which was quite good.

This was one of the best accommodations I stayed in Mexico. Great service, staff are lovely, they were helpful with providing tour info & bookings, arranging transportation, info about the general services i.e. local dry cleaning & eateries. The rooms and common areas are cleaned and tidied everyday. Breakfast cooked infront of you every morning and it’s free! |My fav was the outdoor areas - gorgeous rooftop garden and courtyard by the kitchen.

Yelp
The place is at a great location, close to the Mercado and plenty of restaurants and bars. If you are looking for quit place don't stay here. They have 2 bars across the street that you will be able to hear all the way to your rooms. I wasnt bothered by it at all but some others thought its was too loud.. the people in charge are serious but respectful and make you feel safe and welcome. Bunk beds if you have to stay on top it's an adventure I fell once. Very cheap and you do get to know different kind of people there..

Yelp
Excellent hostel! I'm not a fan of big airport-type hostels, and this was cozy, intimate and super clean. Each room comes with its own IMMACULATE bathroom and each bed has its own outlet and light. Staff is wonderful and local (it's nice when a hostel hires from the local economy). Breakfast is delicious (eggs, fruit, toast). Cute patio and roof garden full of plants, and our dorm had its own cozy terrace! Maybe the only 2 things I'd improve is the spotty wifi (esp in the rooms) and windows that let mosquitoes in (no screens or filters when it's too hot to sleep w them closed), but this is easy to forgive when everything else is so cute and pleasant throughout the hostel, and you can tell that the owner really poured her soul into making this place so lovely, so the hostel definitely deserves 5 stars!
