Hostal Don Rodrigo

Small and clean room. Not bad for staying overnight. Location is great. 2 minutes walk you’ll reach the street where you can leave the car and keep walking for around 5 minutes, you’ll arrive in the tourist zone.

Modern, small neat and clean Hostal in a narrow street bang in the middle of the old town. Only a few minutes walk from the Plaza Major. The rooms are small but with private facilities, airco & tv so certainly OK for one night. Friendly and very helpful owner. What makes it special is the free secure underground parking. This is definitely a very worthwhile extra in the middle of Zamora's historic centre.

We stayed in the Hostal Don Rodrigo overnight on route to Portugal. What a find. Clean, lovely rooms and well appointed. Had the misfortune of two of the family coming down with food poisoning from a restaurant from the previous night, and the hotel were so accommodating. They allowed us to have an extra 2 hours in one of the rooms so we could recover. A lovely gesture and very grateful for the extra time. |

Very nice room in a convenient location.

Hostal Don Rodrigo is located within walking distance of the Plaza Mayor and other sights. They offer complimentary parking in an underground garage.||Since something had gone wrong with our reservation, we were upgraded to a new appartment a block further. The place was huge and very pleasant. The employee of the hostel did a big effort to accomodate us as well as possible.||I'd give it 5/5, but compared to other hotels on our trip, this one was a bit on the expensive side, so it receives 4/5.

A big, bright, spotlessly clean, ground-floor room with a big bed, a modern shower, air-conditioning, even a small complimentary bottle of wine! Near the main square, quiet, not very expensive, exceptionally helpful people, it couldn't have been better. I'd like to go back to Zamora, and if I do I hope to stay at the Hostal Don Rodrigo again.

Arriving earlier than planned we rang the number provided and a man appeared without answering the phone (no cost!) and helped us with our bags. Even though we had disturbed his lunch he spent a long time explaining the hotel and also places of interest in the town.||He then led us down the (very narrow) street and round to the underground gararge where he directed us to the secure parking.||The town was better than we expected and we shall stay there again when passing and most definitely stay in Hostal Don Rodrigo

a bit over priced I thought for a hostal in this area but it was very clean and quiet , we slept well. free private parking but very difficult to access due to changes in the town's one way system, took us nearly an hour to find the place.||No hair dryer.
