We arrived to a warm welcome, and were shown to our room which was spacious and very clean. There was a lovely balcony overlooking the old town. The hostal is busy with many visitors coming and going, which was nice to see. This is bed only - so don't expect any facilities such as bar or restaurant. There are lots of places for breakfast and dinner within easy walking distance, and the old town is a short 10/15 minutes walk away.||||The bathroom facilities were spotless, and the towels were changed daily.||||Overall we had a great 10 nights break away in the lovely village of Vejer, which is a really good base while touring the region.||||We took the closed and secure parking option which was well worth it||||From start to finish the friendly owners made our stay very welcoming and comfortable.

Very good location a bit on the outskirt of the old city center which make it more interesting to visit. Amazing pueblo blanco worth 24hrs visits. But very close to the bus stop. Beautiful views . Very near the Mirador cafe on the top with the waooo views over the Atlantic. Basic rooms but very quiet night. Helping staff in where to eat not too far. Always here to help of if you need extra blanket... Horrible smell coming from the bathroom but that’s the price to pay and close the door ;)

We stayed at the Hostal El Mirador, the rooms are basic and have a very small bathroom, the rooms are clean and have a balcony with a small clothes line. the hotel did not have many guests at the time and I imagine it could be noisy if there were a lot of guests. We had fabulous views over the valley.||Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the officina de tourismo, 5 minute walk to town, close to cafes, restaurants and bars. (Restaurant recommendation Corredera 55, excellent food).||If you are on a budget this hotel is fine.

I only stayed here one night, but was quite impressed by it. I'd describe it as budget. The receptionist did her best to answer my questions, even though she didn't speak much English and I don't speak any Spanish. The views are fabulous from the balcony too.

This cheap hotel is central but a little away from the bigger roads so there is no noise. The room was not ready even though I checked in an hour after earliest check in. I sad down a relaxed for 10 minutes while the lady did my room. A/c was fine, bed nice and firm. New windows with thick thermo glass. Bathroom OK. Wifi ok. 24 hour reception (only spanish). If You - as I - just need a room to get a shower, use the wifi and eventually get a night sleep this is what You need. This is one of the few cheap hotels where I don´t have anything to complain about. I would use it again.

We were waiting 30 min to check in outside in the street (42 degrees). It was the hell and the phone from the reception did not work.||Disappointing check in but really friendly service. They help us to finde better places to eat.||Vejer in any case is amazing... so enjoy the stay and eat as you can.

It's a hostel with 2 stars. You cant really expect much. The location is nice, the rooms are what you get for staying at a 2 star hostel. Service is very standard. Nothing over the top but its not bad either.
