Hostal El Patio Miraflores

After a months sleeping in hostels of dubious cleanliness and safety it was amazing to come here. The staff are just so nice and the hotel is spotlessly clean with great breakfasts and loads of really cool common areas. They also have a really generous check in time (1pm) and checkout time (12pm). And they also let us use the common areas and store our bags when we had a 10pm bus which was really nice. I would really recommend this hotel.

I've stayed at El Patio for 4 trips to Peru. It's beautiful and has many flowers, plants and fountains that make you feel good to be amidst them. It feels like the hotel has a soul. I had excellent and patient service from all the staff. There is beautiful and curious artwork throughout the hotel. Huacos, or reproductions, are on display. The breakfast is good. Modern touches are interspersed with traditional decor. Overall the setting harkens to a Lima that lies mostly in the past. Even the locks to the rooms, I think, are antique gems. Plus you're located in the middle of Miraflores. Just wonderful!

Absolutely good. Here you get the real value of your dollars and, the people in the front office like Jhon R were the best. Super kind and always but always ready to guide and help you. Jose in the kitchen is phenomenal with his charisma every day of the week. As well the new cleaning lady Maribel was so kind and attentive to help us. Kudos for these 3 employees. I'll be back... Entering the gate of the hostel is like entering an oasis of color, vegetation, beauty.|Decoration all through the hallways is lavish and adorable, tasteful.|So a feeling of peace and tranquility gets hold of you as you roam through this place and your room.|Very satisfied with the helpful staff (even though a very limited understanding of English just like anywhere else).|And room prices very reasonable in exchange for what you get for it.

nice rooms, great location, the staff were super helpful arranging airport pick ups. The breakfast was adequate. Also some comfortable common areas, nice for reading, relaxing, chatting with new friends

Nice hotel in centre of miraflores. 5 mins from parque kennedy and 20 from larcomar. Plenty around. Checkin was easy and staff all friendlt. Rooms basic but comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing to be honest. Good option if staying in Lima

My friend and I had a very nice 2 night stay at the hotel. The little patio area is so cute and quiet- the perfect place to enjoy our breakfast in the morning! The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The hotel was also very accommodating about letting us drop our luggage before check-in and go back again to grab a few more things later in the day. The only thing that could have improved our stay would have been some fresh fruit options at breakfast; however, there is so much fruit sold around the city that it was not a big problem! Overall, would recommend for the location and price if you are not looking for anything too fancy!

I love staying here, but hesitate to post this because I don’t want them to become popular…I’ve been staying here when I travel to Peru for the last decade. Somehow they have managed to not sell out to big developers who now surround them in high rise buildings and hotels. Beautiful patios with plants, fountain, seating/visiting areas, as well as friendly and down-to-earth staff who are always helpful and kind. Great location as well, walking distance to all the spots in Miraflores and safe area of town!
