Fantastic experience! First time we stayed in hostal - cheaper hotel and we were not disappointed. Amazing hosts, location is perfect - close to city centre, old town, train and bus stations, and it's very quiet.|Free drink is available in nearby restaurant as well. Highly recommend!

This place is great! Really nice. Staff helpful and cute, the rooms are tidy and clean. Very spanish feel to the decor of the place. The breakfast was coffee/OJ and toast with jam, perfect! Location is within reach of everything. Also, we get a free drink at a bar if we mention the hostel. So ask about that at reception. Very happy stay!!!

Booked this as it had good TripAdvisor reviews. We weren’t disappointed.|A 10-15 min walk from the station (we flew into Jerez. Station next to airport, Train took 10 mins and €1.8 each)|Welcomed by lovely lady who spoke next to no English... but we managed with my limited Spanish. |We had a problem with the air con and electrics in the room we had. Susanne, who spoke brilliant English sorted us out, moving us to another, and actually nicer room.|Some rooms have windows onto public areas, due to the nature of the building. All have air con, TV with only Spanish channels. Excellent hairdryer in bathroom. Basic shower gel/shampoo provided, and clean towels.|In all, basic, comfortable and very clean. No complaints at all in this quirky pension/hostal. In the room we had it was so very quiet. The hostal is on a quiet street. |Breakfast was simple, coffee, tosta, a small cake and orange juice.|It’s within walking distance of the town, many different routes, plenty of bars to drink and eat at.|If I returned to Jerez, I’d stay here!! |

We stayed one night before flying back from Jerez Airport. The staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged taxi and early breakfast (7:30, delivered to the room) for us. The private bathroom was large and the bed comfortable. The bedroom was well equipped but was pretty dark and without window to the outside. It lacked of fresh air and felt suffocating. I recommend for a couple nights.

A beautiful welcome to this quaint and typical hotel. Although simple room and bathroom impeccably clean. Our hostess was kind and very helpful with information on the town. Things to do and how to get there. Centrally located easy walk to all attractions. Free sherry at local bar was a bonus.thank you! Maria jose Corcoles

Stayed one night with husband as wanted to see Jerez, a spur of a moment decision. A quick choice the day before, quite happy ended up with Hostal Fenix. We came by bus from Cadiz, and this hostel is within an easy walk from the bus/train station. Nice quiet room, facing the inner courtyard, so no view really. Short walking distance to the center. The street looks very authentic Spanish, quiet with very little traffic. Simple breakfast is available. Certainly value for money, this one.

The price was very reasonable for midweek in june. OK there were a coupe of things, but a beautiful house and fabulous knowledgeable staff. This was very close to the centre of town but really really quiet after 10 p.m.|A basic breakfast sorted out any hangover tendencies.
