We stayed at Hostal Gemina for 2 nights. The Hostal itself is quite quirky with random items collected and displayed in the communal areas. The staff were very friendly. The room was cleaned daily and the facilities were a little bit dated with the plumbing being a bit hit and miss! The wifi signal was very weak in the bedrooms and stronger in the communal areas. The room was pretty basic but fine for 2 nights. We had breakfast with our room rate, which was Bread, Butter, Pineapple Juice and Tea. You could pay extra for eggs extra if you wanted a more interesting breakfast. The location is pretty central in Barranco, it's a short walk from a supermarket, the local bar scene and the beach. We found it a little difficult to find as we arrived late at night and the Hostal is situated down an alley way, just look out for the red telephone box! If you are looking for a cheap stay for a few nights then this place is perfect!
