Stayed here with G adventures as the starting point of the tour. Nice communal area and decorated hallways with various antiques. Friendly and helpful receptionist. Rooms are fine. Clean. A bit dated and simple but fine for a short stay. No bottled water provided but they do have towels. No shampoo or body wash, just 2x bars of soap. You can request heater, iron or hairdryer if you need them. Breakfast is extremely basic. Bread, juice, coffee and an orange. I paid extra for scrambled eggs and cheese. (8 sol) Shower takes a while to get hot and can fluctuate in temperature. does the job. No AC. Thin windows it your facing the main road so traffic will wake you up due to all the honking. They lock the front gate at night if it's late so you might need to shout for reception to let you in after a night if drinking. WiFi is decent.

Good location and friendly staff. Had a private and secure parking lot under the building. The shower was great as we were both able to take a long shower and their was plenty of hot water! The breakfast was minimal, but good.

We stayed at Hostal Gemina for 2 nights. The Hostal itself is quite quirky with random items collected and displayed in the communal areas. The staff were very friendly. The room was cleaned daily and the facilities were a little bit dated with the plumbing being a bit hit and miss! The wifi signal was very weak in the bedrooms and stronger in the communal areas. The room was pretty basic but fine for 2 nights. We had breakfast with our room rate, which was Bread, Butter, Pineapple Juice and Tea. You could pay extra for eggs extra if you wanted a more interesting breakfast. The location is pretty central in Barranco, it's a short walk from a supermarket, the local bar scene and the beach. We found it a little difficult to find as we arrived late at night and the Hostal is situated down an alley way, just look out for the red telephone box! If you are looking for a cheap stay for a few nights then this place is perfect!

Happy with the room, as expected. Wifi is good in quiet times but only available in the common areas. Breakfast was two bread rolls and jam. |Slept well. Friends in other rooms overlooking the gym couldn’t sleep - it opens about 7am and is very loud.

It is a really nice hotel with good atmosphere and charm. It's close to the main square in barranco, restaurants, banks and pharmacies. The rooms are basic but nice. The staff are friendly and helpful too, and they all speak good English. |The breakfast is basic but ok: 2 rolls, jam, coffee and fruit juice. You can order scrambled eggs if you need a bit more. |I'd recommend you stay here if youre in Barranco.

Located in Barranco and close to a supermarket as well as cash machines. The hostel is located inside little alcove shopping centre so you might not see it from the street until you walk down the corridor. My flight was delayed so I didn’t get in until 1am - I gave them my flight details and they must’ve known as they stayed up to wait for me. |The staff are friendly, the rooms are basic and good sized. The breakfast is simple with juice, hot drink and some nice bread with jam and butter. So I would say a good stay from me!

We had a dead cockroach in our room. The staff told us that it probably found it’s way through the window. ||||For People travelling on low budget it it still ok. It is a normal peruvian hostal and the staff is very nice. Also they have a Taxi Service - on time with a fixed price
