Hostal Goya

I enjoyed it. It was a simple place but the room was nice and they gave a muffin and juice for breakfast. I really want to give it 5 stars but it has a big problem with soundproofing. I could hear everything happening outside my room and my room was near a shared bathroom so there was often noise. Would not recommend if you are sensitive to this.

We stayed at this hotel during the summer and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic, offering both convenience and beautiful surroundings. What truly stood out to us was the exceptional service provided by the ladies at the reception. They were always ready to assist and resolved any issues we had with great professionalism and kindness. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable—we truly appreciate it!

Perfect place, very nicely located. Friendly and kind staff. Even without breakfast they always leave some snacks to eat in the morning. They were very helpful making us a small guided tour list in English. 10/10

Great location in the center of Barcelona. Clean, modern accommodation, with spacious rooms and a stay with the basics to have breakfast and even dinner. There are free infusions and teas, as well as leaving a small breakfast detail. Very good treatment.

She welcomed us really warm and she let us leave our luggage’s in the reception till the check-in hours. And when we came for check-in there was a problem in our room so they gave us another place to stay which was a lot better, we enjoyed it a lot. And it was very nice that they solved our problem that easily and didn’t make us feel it. Thank you 😍

This stay was perfect! Central location with easy walk to metro, trains and all the tourist points. Staff were amazing and instantly helped us when we arrived by giving us a map of the local area with personal dinner recommendations. We were even allowed into the room early at no extra cost! Room was clean and had everything we needed for a short stay (aircon, fast WiFi, usb ports, mirror, towels). Shared lounge and kitchen were amazing - free unlimited tea, coffee, bottled water and use of the fridge. There was also a complimentary muffin and juice provided for breakfast. Would 100% recommend for a stay in Barcelona.

Very clean room with white and calm colours. The girls at the lobby very kind and helpful. They had for as every day at the morning a bag with cup cakes and juice as a thank u gift . Also you can drink coffee for free in the living room all day.|The hostel is at the center of everything you want to see . You can go everywhere on foot .

Staff was very, very helpful and nice. Good coffee provided. Rooms very small but clean. However it is definitely a hostel and not a hotel. Paper thin walls, dark, dirty building entrance area in need of some better lighting and repair. The rooms look much nicer online than in reality. Next time we would pay a little more and take a full service hotel, as the prices were almost the same. To summarize.. not the best value for the rooms offered. Having said that, the staff showed a lot of care for us and we greatly appreciated that. Very good location...

We stayed at this hostel on the first night of our honeymoon. The location is fantastic - close to public transit, and within walking distance of pretty much everything, from La Sagrada Familia to Parc Guell to La Boqueria. Caveat: we love walking. The building has great character, and it is apparent that the whole operation was undertaken thoughtfully. The rooms are tastefully decorated in a contemporary style, and the amenities in the public area are very nice - tea, a public computer, lounging furniture, tour guides, books. And, the cherry on top, everything was clean, tidy, and as quiet as you can expect in the middle of an urban environment. Highly recommended!
