HOSTAL GUADALUPE

We saw all the rave reviews online for this quaint hotel but were very disappointed when we arrived. Very small room. Bed was very uncomfortable, like sleeping on rocks. Extremely noisy from other guests coming and going at all hours of the night, and you can hear everything through the walls. Asked for a different room, but they were fully booked. Towels were well worn out and should only be used as scrub rags. The restaurant was awful. We had been here 5 years ago, and the food was amazing, not so anymore. The terrace had a sun lounger with aripped up cushion and full of dirt. The only thing going for this hotel is the location across the street from the beach.

Loved the location, so close to the beach and to the town - lift if you don't want to walk the steps. Food was lovely and staff so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend. Lovely sun terrace

Hotel was great, spotlessly clean and nicely renovated however the restuarant downstairs was terrible. Cheap cheese on the pizza and too much of it. Also, the dough was way too heavy. Lasagne served cold. Service wasn't great either. Couldn't even get staff attention to send back cold lasagne. A restuarant should gauge its custom by how much food they put in the bin when customers are finished.

Brilliant budget accommodation with great view from the balcony. Good service from Illyas who arranged handover. We will certainly be back.

A nice place to stay. Location Very good, just off the beach. Clean, comfy bed, not much noise, friendly, helpful staff. The only thing is room, bathroom, and balcony is really tiny.

The bathroom shower base was coming apart and I cut my foot on a sharp corner section. Also too easy to hear other guests in the rooms next-door.

I stayed with my 12 year old grandson for 4 nights ,|The location is superb |The staff are all friendly and welcoming|The breakfast was excellent and the room was clean|I am going back with my wife in September for a week and we cannot wait to return

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It's in a perfect setting for the beach, bars and the lift into the town centre rather than all the steps. It's clean and the beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend it. There are a couple of small supermarkets in the street for goodies and a balcony for some rest in the fresh air.

The food was so Good!!!...and the staff is amazing. You need to order the Paella the day before or in the morning.
