I made a reservation online and received and email confirmation, and had no issues checking in when I got there! It was nice that they could take credit cards as well. There is a beautiful balcony at the top as well. We had an early flight the next morning and transport to the airport was included in the cost, which was very nice so we didn't have to get public transportation at 5 in the morning. We unfortunately left too early to get breakfast, but overall a great experience!

This hostel feels like my home away from home. Every room is well equipped with linens and even hot shower. The hosts couldn't me more helpful. Each morning, we woke up to breakfast of fruit and the most amazing pancakes I've ever eaten. The area is a safe, gated community only five minutes from the airport with a rooftop garden that has a perfect view of downtown and the nearby mountains.

Unfortunately, Guatemala City doesn't appear to be a safe city. In developing nations where you have relatively affluent tourists you will find crime. This place has been described by the locals as a bed and breakfast. They serve you a full breakfast (we weren't there for other meals). I arrived about 9:00 at night and they had fruit and muffins out for us. It's located within a secured residential community with a gate and guards. So, it seems relatively secure. The family is very nice and accommodating. The beds are hard and clean. They give you fresh towels every day and have hot water. Nice people , basic accommodations.

Really, totally, unbelievably creepy. This is not really a hostel or a hotel. What it is, is an over-priced room in a retired woman's private home that she's remodeled to put in a few guest rooms. She lives downstairs with her husband and Aged Parents. It's in a private, gated community in Zona 13, near the airport. Yes, it's close to the airport, but there are no restaurants, nowhere to eat. All she had were 3-year old menus from fast food restaurants that deliver pizza and french fries for $7.00 a meal. My husband is diabetic, so fast food really isn't an option. Plus, since it's not a hostel, there's no kitchen access. There were no other guests. The WiFi didn't work upstairs, only downstairs near her kitchen/living room area. We found this hostel off of TripAdvisor as we had to fly out of the airport. This is a never.

Caught the long 19hour bus from Nicaragua and didn't arrive til after 11.30 but was greeted with a friendly smile. |Room was clean and had decent wifi and the shower was warm. In the morning the breakfast was tasty and fresh. For the price, it was great.

Arturo was waiting at the airport for me and whisked me away from the confusion. My room was clean, the staff and owners were charming! Delta lost my bag and the owner took me himself for no charge. Slept like a child and breakfast was awesome! A bit more expensive than I usually do but to b safe in one of the world's most dangerous cities is priceless and so worth it!

I made my reservations well in advance via e-mail. I then followed up to make sure I had the reservations. Since my reservations were confirmed a second time, I sent a third email to ask if I needed to give a deposit. I was told not to worry about a deposit, I could pay in person upon arrival. Since it was Easter week, I was asked not to arrive before 7 pm because the owners were going to be resting for Easter. When I called, around 6 pm the day I had to check in to see if anyone would be there at 7 pm, a man told me they had no reservations for me. His wife, the person I had exchanged emails with, told me that they had a large group staying there and they gave my rooms away. I had booked at this hostel because they are close to the airport and they promised to take me to the airport at 4 am. They cancelled everything and did not bother to say a word to me. Very unprofessional. I, therefore, cannot recommend this place.

have stayed here 6-7 x in past several years. Service ok.|Now it is terrible.|Wife told me night before that breakfast would be at 6:30 when I went to table at 6:15, the husband told me we had a rush b/c One has to be at airport 4 hrs prior to flight. When I asked about my promised breakfast, he said not enough time. Thought it was an excuse not to feed me. Asked for $$$$ for breakfast , he just laughed at me.|Never again and will advise my friends likewise
